Foundations -TEMPTU - Air Pod

I haven't taken the time to write a review in 5 years...but this product deserves it. My motive is selfish...I want this line to be a success...it is truly the best makeup I've ever used and I want it always available. What am I comparing it against? You name it, I've probably tried it (I love makeup, it's my "hobby" ). Before Temptu I had Cle De Peau (you think Temptu is pricey?), Kevyn Aucoin, Laura Mercier, SKII (hated, by the way, and also very expensive) & BE to name a few. This is by far my favorite. I use Clinique pore minimizer in the T-tone and that's it, I don't like a coat of primer. If you can spray paint, you can apply this. I concentrate on the imperfections and pull away for the rest. I have aging skin (oooh, that's tough to write) large pores and broken capillaries...the kind of skin that begs for foundation. This covers beautifully and lasts. As with any foundation, the better the "canvas" the better the results...I used this on my 22 yr old daughter and it looked great...she doesn't have skin "issues" like me and rarely wears foundation...doesn't like the way it feels...she really liked this.

Hair Styling Tools -Sedu - Ionic Ceramic Professional Flat Iron (Original)

And I thought all flat irons were created equally....how is it possible for 2 pieces of hot metal to generate such different results...I don't know, but this one does. My friend who owns a Tourmaline comes over here to borrow this, and she has coarse, thick, curly hair. When she uses my Sedu it turns to silk. Finally a product worth the hype!

Cleansers -Purpose - Gentle Cleansing Bar

I am only taking the time to write this because I read the review about this product being "evil". Don't be disuaded by that review if you have sensitive skin...I do and this works great for me. I love it...the smell, the performance, the price...reminds me of the Clinique soap I used to use for a lot less.

Liquid -Maybelline - Wonder Finish
delin 10/26/2005 10:05:00 AM
This morning I was surrounded by Laura Mercier, Clinique, Becca, Kevyn Aucoin, BE...add these up and I could make a car payment. What gives the best finish, has the best color and wears best on oily skin? Maybelline's Wonder Finish. Honestly, if this were disguised by a high end brand, (and truth be known, it probably is)...more people would rave about it. But for makeup snobs, and I would be one of them, it's hard to admit something grabbed on sale at the grocery store and placed in a cart with the peanuts and hamburger can possibly hope to obtain the results that a $45 bottle of Mercier packed in a pretty sack with tissue paper and all the perfume samples can. Oily skin girls try this. Wash your face with Cetaphil, apply a later of Milk of Magnesia, put this on with a sponge, and I promise you'll have all the results of a $150 regimen for under $15.

Treatments -Lauren Hutton - Aquapress

I like Lauren Hutton...but if she would tell me to jump off a bridge would I? Apparently so...I'm embarrassed that I even purchased this...take a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and load it up with water...same thing for $1.50. I sent this back.
