Shampoo -Wen by Chaz Dean - Six Thirteen
decembermom3 5/20/2012 10:05:00 AM
I am proud to say that I am a WEN girl! I am a licensed stylist and was impressed enough to order this even though I am almost never pulled in by infomercials. I can say without a doubt that I am so glad I ordered this (QVC's price is like $17 cheaper than the Chaz Dean website!) The smell is absolute heaven! A combination of mellow lemongrass and a smooth vanilla. I always wash my hair with WEN cleansing conditioner and RINSE thoroughly, and then follow it up with 613 and then a quarter size amount of 613 in thoroughly rinsed and soaking wet hair, as a leave in conditioner. I only use about 4 or 5 pumps. For reference my hair is about 4" below my shoulders and thin textured. I would recommend WEN to my friends and family and would, without a doubt, recommend this to my clients!

Cleansers -DERMAdoctor - Litmus Test Glycolic Acid Facial Cleansing Gel
decembermom3 9/9/2011 12:37:00 AM
This dries out my face something fierce! It gets all tight and itchy...and to follow this up with the litmus test toner? Fuggetaboutit! Would not buy again!

Toners -DERMAdoctor - Litmus Test Toner
decembermom3 9/9/2011 12:35:00 AM
I can't use this toner at all because every time I do it stings my skin very badly! And not just in the dry areas...even in my oily t-zone. I really wanted to like this line because the concept is just awesome...and I love glycolic acid in my face products. But this one just failed. Wish I wouldn't have shelled out the bucks for this one. Really disappointed in DermaDoctor for this. :(

Cleansers -Amore Pacific - Treatment Cleansing Foam
decembermom3 9/9/2011 12:31:00 AM
I really like this cleanser. I feel like it gets all the deep down dirt and makeup out of my skin. I use it with my clarisonic...and for a foaming cleanser it doesn't really dry my skin like other foaming cleansers do...even the ones that say they don't dry your skin out. I love the scent of this entire line too! Very natural smelling...not artificial fragrance like some. Creamy and packs a punch.

Eyeliner -Stila - Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Starry
decembermom3 9/9/2011 12:27:00 AM
I absolutely ADORE this color! It's sparkly (metallic) but not over the top. It's a smoky charcoal color and it goes with so many of my looks. Stila really does make something amazing other than their eyeshadows! Staying power is superb and it is waterproof! Would buy again! The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is the need to re-dip the brush to replenish the product for my other eye.

Eyeliner -LORAC - Front of the Line Waterproof Eyeliner
decembermom3 9/9/2011 12:25:00 AM
Awesome eyeliner. This eyeliner has restored my faith in liquid eyeliner again. :D I love how I don't have to dip the brush into product. The color continuously flows from the pen like a marker. Love it! And staying power is awesome!

Mascara -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Definition Volumizing mascara
decembermom3 9/9/2011 12:23:00 AM
I'm absolutely crazy about the regular flawless definition. It doesn't clump or look spidery. Just gives me nice lush lashes. This volumizing version, however, is a disappointment to me. Makes my lashes stick together and makes them spidery. I got this in the BE insider set with the color shift eyeshadow. Would not buy again.

Blush -Urban Decay - Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint in Fetish
decembermom3 9/9/2011 12:19:00 AM
Love this blush. It's a beautiful sheer berry color with light shimmer. The shimmer does not show up (for those who don't care for the sparkly look). I dab and blend this blush onto the apples of my cheeks and blend up the bottom-side of my cheekbone. It looks so natural. Doesn't even look like I've used any blush. And the formula is so nice and smooth. Works perfectly on my light/medium olive colored skin. :)

Polishes -Rescue Beauty Lounge - -- Scrangie
decembermom3 8/25/2011 9:05:00 AM
I absolutely LOVE this color...enough to pay a lewd amount to grab a bottle on ebay. I was looking for a good butter London "Prince's Plum" dupe...and I believe I found it. I've seen the reviews that say that the duochrome is gone once you put this color on your nails...but I gotta say that didn't happen for me. It's gorgeous! A resemblance of beatle wings just like it's supposed to be. I get the purple base, and the blue/green shift within that. Maybe it needs a top coat? I dunno...I just know I would buy this color again if it wasn't discontinued. Goes on well...lasts about as long OPI does on my nails. I DO with the brush was wider...doesn't seem to cover enough at once. Other than that...fan for life. :)

Highlighters -LORAC - Oil-Free Luminizer
decembermom3 8/22/2011 10:24:00 AM
A must buy for a complexion that just LOOKS like you tan. I have warm undertones. I don't tan but my skin is usually straddles the light/medium foundation choices. I purchased this in L2. The first time I tried it I just put 2 or 3 pumps straight on my face...needless to say...definitely too much! I started using 1 pump mixed with my moisturizer aaaaannnnddd..... VOILA! Perfect sun kissed complexion. I look naturally tan...no orange or streaky-ness, just a gorgeous sun kissed glow! It doesn't clog my pores or irritate my skin. I will, WITHOUT a doubt, purchase this luminizer again. I LOVE IT!

Eye Shadow -Chanel - Illusion d'Ombre
decembermom3 8/1/2011 1:50:00 PM
I have illusoire, mirifique, emerveille, fantasme and ebloui and I can't say enough about how amazing these eyeshadows perform! I can't speak to whether or not they crease w/o a primer since I always use udpp but with primer they stayed perfect. They're soft, spongey and VERY blendable. These colors are absolutely gorgeous! They come with their own little brush and are on the pricey side but I would definitely repurchase.

Styling Products -Shu Uemura - Art of Hair Liquid Fabric Spray
decembermom3 7/30/2011 9:34:00 PM
Wow...just WOW! Not since phytocurl spray have I been able to achieve the curls I achieved today using Fabric Spray. I have thin, very wavy hair...but most of the wave seems to have been pulled out of it from damage due to coloring :(. It's the hardest thing to get my hair to curl and stay curly without feeling all hard and crispy (which only makes me wanna put my hands in it to break up the crunch). Fabric spray gave me insane curl and my hair is still soft! No crunch! I didn't even need hairspray afterwards and my curls have held all day...even in humidity. Love this stuff. Expensive but worth every last penny!

Lip Gloss -LORAC - Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss
decembermom3 12/6/2010 9:32:00 PM
Simply the best feeling lip gloss that I have ever used. It's smooth and no matter how many times I inadvertently rub my lips together it doesn't get gritty. It's got the most gorgeous shimmer I've ever seen in a gloss too. This color...btw...is 3D. A beautiful shade of beige that doesn't seem to overtake the lipcolor you use it with. The shimmer is almost metallic but not in a crazy way. Just beautiful on and I wear it over almost every lipcolor I have. I love that it has a brush instead of a doe foot applicator...I HATE doe foot applicators. I got this in a Sephora goodie sampler bag and fell in love immediately. A must have for the shimmer gloss lover in us all.

Concealers -Fresh - Concealer
decembermom3 7/12/2010 9:13:00 PM
I have tried MANY good names in undereye concealer and have never had any luck. Usually it would just look patchy and awful and horribly obvious. I did some MUA research and decided to go to Sephora and get a sample of Fresh's Umbrian Clay Absolute Concealer in #2. The Sephora S.A. helped match me and showed me how to apply it for flawless coverage. Needless to say here I am bragging about how much I love this concealer. Not only does it brighten my undereye area, it also provided the much needed medium coverage I was looking for....flawlessly! I couldn't be happier and have happily paid the $22 price tag feeling I got off inexpensively since when I compare $22 to the God only knows how much I've spent on TRYING to find the perfect concealer...I'm saving loads. I would consider this my HG concealer.

Concealers -Too Faced - Absolutely Flawless Therapeutic Herbal Eye Base And Concealer With Apple Seed Enzyme
decembermom3 6/23/2010 9:35:00 PM
This makes me so sad, cuz I really wanted to love this under-eye concealer. I purchased this in "London Light", which matched my NW25-30 skin really well...but as with EVERY under-eye concealer I have ever purchased....it creased. Not just a little either. ALOT! Whether I patted it on like the Sephora s.a. recommended. No method worked whereby the coverage would look natural...just nasty and cakey. I have tried every method I can think of for applying this concealer to help with creasing and smoothness, but NADA. I really want a concealer that looks like I have no concealer on and this just didn't fit the bill. Wish I had something more positive to say about it. I wasted $19.50 on this. :( Edit: 6/29/10 Tried Fresh Umbrian Clay concealer and LOVE IT! :)
