Styling Products -Aveeno - Active Naturals Nourish + Style Soft Hold Gel-Creme

I love this stuff! It provides some hold but not a lot, and it gives hair lots of shine. I feel like my hair is in better condition when I use this, especially when used with the blow dryer or curling iron. It doesn't weight my fine, color-treated hair down at all!
I finally caved and bought this- I have hazel eyes, fair skin, and reddish hair and it looks AMAZING on me! Light Coral Red is a very accurate description for this one! I was wearing a cool gray cardigan and even though this is warm-toned, it still looked amazing! Great color saturation!
I think I may have found my HG mascara! I always buy volumizing formulas with the intent of making my wimpy lashes more dramatic, but what usually happens is that they are clumpy and smear. Not this one! I love the flexible brush and at first, I was a bit afraid because I didn't think I was getting any mascara on the brush from the tube. But once I started applying, I could tell that wasn't the case! It applies smoothly and separates the lashes, making them look full but not clumpy. I can do 2 coats without problems.
Lip Gloss -NYX - lipgloss with mega shine -frosted walnut 109

I love this lip gloss! It looked a little too frosty in the tube but once I put it on it was rich, densely pigmented, and more shimmery than frosty. I have copper hair and hazel eyes and it looks amazing on me! I love to try new cosmetics, especially lipgloss, but this is the ONLY lipgloss I've ever re-purchased! Also bought Copper Penny (more rose than copper) and I look forward to using it as well!
Hair Color -Wella - Color Charm Liquid Creme Haircolor

My HG of haircolors! I've used 6R (Red Terra Cotta) for the past few years and even at the Aveda School where I get my hair cut, they tell me it's perfect! I have short hair so I touch-up roots about every 6 weeks and then for the last 10 minutes apply to the rest of my hair. The smell is strong but not overpowering. It's easy to mix with developer and I love the fact that it's 2 parts developer (I use 20 volume) to 1 part color. I can usually make one bottle of color last for 2 -3 colorings so very economical. Leaves my hair in good condition as long as I condition it immediately after coloring. My hair is fine and not damaged so I don't have any problems with frizz or exterme dryness.
Bought a small bottle of this at Sephora to wear to my 20th high school reunion. Initially, I smell lots of honey and patchouli, then the chocolate notes kick in and mellow things out just a bit. Definitely not for everyone (both taste and body chemistry) but if you tend to like warm, heavy, sultry, spicy gourmand scents, it just might work for you. Need to use a light touch as it can be overpowering. Smells sophisticated and warm on me.
The WORST mascara I've ever used! Made my lashes stiff and spider-like with just one coat, and for the life of me, I could NOT get the brush to work properly! I was not able to use the comb part to comb through the lashes without smuding mascara all over!
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Cleanse Your Soul (CYS) Voci della Mora

One of my favorite scents from CYS! Every time I wear it,I get compliments. You can definitely smell the blackberry, but it isn't too sweet. The vanilla mellows it out just a bit and the lemon gives it a bit of effervesence. Staying power is decent, too. A great summer and fall scent but could be worn year-round.
So far, so good! When I first opened it up, I thought the large brush would give mre problems. It's a little awkward to hold, but other than that, I've had no issues with the brush. This mascara defines my lashes without clumping, smearing or flaking. I wish it would make my lashes a bit more defined, but it's a small trade-off for not clumping, smearing, or flaking! A unique thing I notice about this mascara is that it does something to make the rims of my eyelids look more defined, almost as if I'm wearing a bit of eyeliner. This is a really nice quality!
I read about this cleansing oil on the skincare board. I was looking for something that would take off all my makeup and sunscreen, and I think I've found it! I just pour about a teaspoon or less into my hand, rub it together, then rub it on my face to loosen up the dirt, makeup, and sunscreen. Then you add just a slight bit of warm water to it to make it milky, then rinse. I use a washcloth then rinse about four or five times. It has a slight citrus scent but does not sting or burn my somewhat sensitive skin. It gets my skin really clean but does not dry it out. I've been using this for three weeks now and I haven't experienced any breakouts. I'll definitely repurchase this when I run out, which probably won't be for a while as you use so little!
I have to disagree as I like this new scent from Victoria's Secret! It's definitely on the powdery side, but it also has a bit of green to it. It's very refreshing and clean, especially for summer. I've already received a few complements on it. But I could see where this scent would not be too popular for many because it's quite different than other Victoria's Secret scents.
I found this at the Cosmetic Company Outlet in Grove City, PA. I tested various swatches of MAC lipstick on my hand and I was really drawn to this one. It's a bit more pink than I would normally wear, but I bought it with the intention of wearing it in my friend's wedding (the dress I wore was a Victorian Lilac Color). On my pale lips, it's a really pretty, creamy, but not too shiny mauve pink. I really like the texture of this lipstick as it's not too drying but it doesn't slide right off your lips like some glossier ones do. I have coppery-brown hair and hazel eyes and when wearing the dress mentioned above, it gave a nice pop of color to my face without being too intense. I probably won't wear it all the time because it's a bit cool for my coloring, but I'll definitely wear it when I wear cooler-tones such as purple, lavender, or blue.
Eye Shadow -Flirt - Whipped Eyeshadow Mousse in High Maintenance

This is the best creamy shadow I've ever used! The color is a plummy-brown with gold flecks. It really brings out my hazel eyes. The texture is light and fluffy, and it blends easily on the eyelids. It lasts well without much creasing. I can't wait to try more shades!
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Trio - Egyptian Sands [DISCONTINUED]
debbers 7/27/2006 1:49:00 PM
These WnW trios are the bomb! I have Egyptian Sands, Amazon Greens, and Mojave Mauves. Egyptian Sands is the warmest-toned of them, with an off-white, copper, and peachy-brown. All blend easily and make my eyes look shimmery, like a previous reviewer said. Amazing quality for the price- will definitely buy more of these as the need strikes!
I just used this in 7N, which is Dark Blonde. I had short, light brown hair with red and light blonde highlights whice were growing out and looking a bit too brassy for my taste. I know that you're really not supposed to use color on top of color, but all I wanted to do was tone the highlights and blend them. So, I applied the color all over and left it on for 30 minutes per the instructions. It is a creme formula so there was little to no dripping! In addition to the regular tip applicator, it also comes with a cool comb applicator! After I rinsed, I applied the post-color conditioner, which made my hair really soft and easy to comb. Then I applied some gel and blew it dry as usual. The color was exactly what I wanted- a light, warm brown with some subtle lighter highlights (where my previous highlights had been). It looks so shiny, and everything is toned down and blended. I love it!
