Moisturizers -Ponds - Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream

I really like this. Lines in forehead lessened within a few applications. The lactic acid is wonderful and listed high on the ingredient deck to make a difference, along with the collagen. A little goes a long way...more is not better with this if you want to use under makeup. I use a little of this this under Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer with good results under mineral mu. I am more generous with it at night when I don't care if little flakes from the lactic acid exfoliate. I picked up the Clarant B3 to try that one out too. BTW - I'm finding these 1.75 oz sizes at walmart in their travel section with the big baskets of travel sized products...at least in my walmart. I'd rather buy them that way for now. Seems fresher that way and they only cost $1.47. Couldn't get cheaper to try. And the size is ready to travel with too.

Lipstick -New York Color - Ultra Last Lip Wear - 412B Mauve Gold
rated 3 of 5

Glad others like it, not enough of a color pay-off for me. Has a nice sheen that will add life to a natural lipliner lip. I didn't expect a lot of pigment in such a cheap tube anyway. They were on sale at rite aid 40% off so picked up a few. This can be good for those who want a light lip with a little shimmer....might be all I need for summer casual days.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Blush Brush
rated 5 of 5
dealfinder648 1/27/2013 10:50:00 AM

I really like the size and tapered cut of this blush brush for my hard pressed or more intense blushes. I just press the brush lightly into the blush and it deposits right where I want it. My other blush brushes were either too big or too small and constantly having to "fix it". I want my blush higher and more pinpointed now....as your cheeks fall a little with aging. Just a wonderful thing to look forward to :( I like the outer plastic durable cover to keep the brush in shape and clean too. I picked it for $2.50 at big lots....a no-brainer to try something out. Will need to experiment with loose powder sometime, but I like it for the pressed intense blushes I have.

Tinted Moisturizer -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Tinted Moisturizer

Got this on clearance for a little over $2. It smells bad, minimal coverage and no real moisture benefits to me. Nice little pump container. Can't believe it lasted on the market as long as it did. But if you already like it, you should be able to find good deals on it as it looks like it's being discontinued. I do like other Physicians Formula products.

Treatments -Revlon - Eterna 27
rated 1 of 5

This is for the one with Progenitin. I bought this, used for a few days with decent results, knowing that better results come after at least a month. I researched the ingredients and found that: their trademark "Progenitin" is Pregnenolone Acetate. Research this ingredient and make sure it is something you want to ingest in your body. Too many other creams out there can do the same thing as far as treatment moisturizers without having to worry about possible hormone imbalance issues. Plus is smells to the high heaven with a heavy, heavy fragrance. It's going back.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Dial NutriSkin Replenishing Hand & Body Lotion Extra Dry
rated 3 of 5
dealfinder648 12/12/2012 8:09:00 AM

After glancing at the ingredient deck and taking a quick whiff at the store, I bought the 3 oz tube to test and have on hand for travel. The bio nutrient complex of omega's, vitamins F, A, C & E was what sold me. I consider it an antioxidant lotion. It's not a heavy rich lotion that leaves a silky smooth surface. I have other lotions and oils for for that. I like the light clean refreshing scent and it dissapates shortly after anyway. I'll buy again unless I get some strange reaction to it. Seems like a good all-in-one to have on hand for the ingredients that are in it.

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

Overpriced with basic ingredient deck. The marketing of Oprah propelled this product to the cult following they have today. Tried one of their serums also, nothing special sent it back.

Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Lipslicks-Bronze Goddess

Don't be fooled by the deep color, it does not go on that intense. It gives a protective feel with a very nice, slight shimmer tint, with just enough slip to make it comfortable. Good formulation, affordable and will buy again.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Nicel Night Renew Alpha Hydroxy and Aloe Cream
rated 3 of 5
dealfinder648 11/24/2012 7:40:00 AM

EDIT:Been using about 2 weeks now. Not sure if this alpha hydrox is buffered to a ph level that is good for my skin. Broke out with 2 big pimples on forehead...good thing I wear bangs. Not sure if it's this or the A cream from the same company. Just saying to be careful before using on face. Still a good and cheap buy for elbows and feet if it's too strong. I should wait at least for 2 weeks or so before writing reviews. It's just not an every night product for me right now. Original Review: Like others, I bought this for under $2 at big lots after taking a look at the ingredients and knowing I had skin that responds well to alpha hydroxy products. It must have a high concentration because it stung just a little, so I immediately followed with a basic, no frills healing lotion over top of face. Face was a little pink the next morning. I've been diluting it since then with a little basic good moisturizing lotion and pure vitamin e oil with good results. I notice a difference in clear and exfoliated skin in the AM. It can irritate eye's, so son't get too close as it does migrate around over night, so rinse it off upon arising unless you jump right into the shower. If the alpha hydroxy is too high concentration for you, just mix and dilute it with a very basic no-frills moisturizer until you handle full strength. You can't beat the price of this and if nothing else, will work on elbows and feet.

Bronzers -Physicians Formula - Healthy Wear Bronzer
rated 3 of 5
dealfinder648 11/17/2012 8:56:00 AM

Love it when it first goes on. But on myself, gets a little greasy later in the day and transfers away from cheeks, where I want it, and transfers down onto whole face. Maybe need to try with another or minimal moisturizer under neath, but don't want to change chose right now. Might just use for neck and chest for the SPF benefits.

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Mineral Face Powder
rated 4 of 5
dealfinder648 11/16/2012 6:10:00 PM

Good, no fuss product. Works better in the summer. Coverage is decent. Physical sunscreen with good vitamin ingredient deck. Not as good as the original formulation of Pur Minerals, not their new version, too many ingredients in the new one and know I will break out. Will be trying Neutrogenia pressed mineral sheers soon. Determined to find a good drugstore pressed mineral powder.

Tinted Moisturizer -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20
rated 1 of 5
dealfinder648 11/16/2012 6:25:00 AM

Bumps, itching and irritation because of the chemical sunscreen. Should have read ingredients on the bottle at store. However, now I know what chemical sunscreens to avoid. Will stick to physical sunscreens like Physicians Formula or anything with zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide only. Sensitive skin beware or buy with keeping receipt and good store return policy. They can really mess up a good product with these chemical sunscreens and lose a lot of customers.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
rated 3 of 5
dealfinder648 3/16/2012 4:39:00 PM

I bought this a few weeks ago and got a good match and coverage. It was a little dry and flat for me being that it's oil-free, however I pulled it out again and added a tiny squirt of olive oil and it looks good. Gives a very slight healthy glow to my mid-40 pre-menopausal skin. So if anyone finds this to be too drying and your stuck with it (can't return), add some vitamin e oil or another favorite oil of yours to moisten it up. I also mix with my moisturizer for a light makeup days. Not in love with it straight out of the bottle and probably won't repurchase.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Lemon Juice
rated 5 of 5
dealfinder648 1/13/2012 12:42:00 PM

I did the lemon juice (from bottle) and sugar exfoliant scrub and it worked wonderfully....better than most products I've used. It gently lifted away a few drying old acne spots too. I plan on doing that at least once a week. It's a great mini-peel. I might try a lower acid fruit, like grapefruit as recommended below, for more frequent use. Between this and EVOO and honey for cleansing and extra moisturization, it's really saving my skin this winter with no adverse side effects like some products can cause. Can't wait to try other natural products. It makes sense to use products as natural as possible with no preservatives. The older I get, the more I realize that God really did put everything we need here in the nature he created. It's pretty awesome.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Green Tea tea-bag toner
rated 5 of 5
dealfinder648 1/8/2012 9:45:00 PM

For those that suffer with the occasional deep cystic chin acne bumps (the ones that feel like a piece of corn under their skin) that won't come to a head. This helped me...I brewed a cup of green tea, took out the tea bag, let cool slightly and applied it right over like a compress over the bump for around 10 minutes or so. The next morning I slightly pressed around the bump and it broke open to release the most gross watery yellow puss, etc. It liked liquified it. So not sure if I caught it at the right time, or if it could of been any tea bag or the hot compress. Regardless, it was such I relief as I know those things can hang around for weeks and weeks. If it doesn't work the first night, just repeat every night to catch it at the right time. Now it's peeling a little and healing which is fine by me. Those things are from hell. I don't use this as a toner yet, maybe I'll try sometime.
