I have been using this product for several years with very positive results. I am very pale, so unfortunately the hair on my arms looks ridiculous on me. The bleach is easy to prepare and the process is simple. Sometimes I leave it on a minute or two longer than the eight minutes to get my desired result. I experience no irritation whatsoever.

Best nail treatment I have ever used. It is super pricey, but well worth it, in my opinion. For some reason, my ring finger on my left hand became very weak and would split down the middle. Once it grew a little longer, it would split and this pattern would continue. I have been using this product for about 3 months and have not had any splitting. I love how fast it dries. I use it once a week as a base coat.

Lip Treatments -Chapstick - Lip Moisturizer SPF 15 Original Flavor

This is my all-time favorite lip balm. I have been using this for a good 10-15 years. It is just the right amount of moisture, without being too heavy. I can wear it alone, or layer underneath lipstick or lip gloss. I love that it contains SPF so I don't need to worry about sun damage on my lips.

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup

Not a fan of this foundation. I've been using Colorstay with great results and decided to try this because Walgreens was having a sale on all Revlon cosmetics and my Colorstay shade was sold out. I found a corresponding PhotoReady color for my skin tone, but am unhappy with the application. I do like the pump container, but that's the only redeeming quality about this. It seems to settle in pores, instead of smoothing them. It is not very concealing either and makes me look washed-out. Will not repurchase.

First off, I will say that I purchased these because my friend had tremendous luck with them and they stayed on for two weeks and looked fantastic on her. However, for me, they were terrible!!! I followed the directions as stated on the package, but they did not work for me. I applied it, smoothed it, but it refused to stick on my nail. I tried again with a different finger, again applying and smoothing as directed, and it still popped off. I warmed my hands (as suggested), but to no avail. I became increasingly frustrated and just threw them out and immediately polished my nails the regular old-fashioned way. Oh, and not to mention, I just threw away almost $10!

Fragrances -Escada - moon sparkle

Picked this up right before Christmas for ten bucks during a special sale. The salesperson suggested this since one of my fave perfumes was sold out(Burberry Brit sheer). Anyhow, I usually adore all fruity, light fragrances, and this one did not disappoint. Smells light and lasts throughout the day. It evokes feelings of summer!

I guess I am in the minority here, but I don't like this scent at all. Luckily, this was a gift and I didn't have to pay for it. I do not like floral scents, and the rose scent is definitely way too intense for my liking.

This is my first purchase of a darky vampy color, but I saw it on sale for 50% off and just had to have it. I used two coats and really love how the color looks on me. It's a very deep plummy black color with a nice amount of shine to it.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I hardly ever wear mascara since my lashes are pretty long, but I was looking for one since I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and wanted something a little more dramatic for photos. A co-worker said that I should get the mascara in the "big orange tube." She didn't even know the name of it, but when I got to the store I knew she meant Lash Blast. I was very impressed with the ease of application and how natural it looked. (I used the brown) I applied it early afternoon and it stayed throughout the entire day. Would definitely use again.

Very disappointing. I used this product and my nails chipped the very next day. Deciding to give it another shot a week later, I used it with a pricier brand of nail polish, and still had the same results. I guess I will keep searching...

Shave Products -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Shave Gel

This morning was the first time I tried this shave gel, and boy, was I impressed! After many summers of battling razor burn/sensitive skin issues, I vowed that this summer I would find a new product. I had previously used Skintimate gels, and while they gave a good shave, I would still wind up with some irritation. The Aveeno left my legs perfectly smooth and with no irritation whatsoever. A little pricier than other drugstore brands, but so far, well worth the extra dollar or so.

Moisturizers -Olay - Complete with SPF 15 Lotion

This is my ultimate favorite moisturizer and I have been using it since high school. It's light, non-greasy, and goes on smoothly. It provides a nice base for foundation and does not irritate my skin. A bottle lasts a few months, and although it may seem a little pricey for a drug store brand (about $10 here in NYC), it works better than anything I have ever tried (including Clinique, Estee Lauder, Loreal, etc) If you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot!!

Shampoo -Dove - Intense Moisture Shampoo

I admit I tried this shampoo primarily due to the positive images in their marketing campaigns, and I *really* did want to like it. However, it did nothing for my hair. It weighed it down and made it even more poofy than normal... My hair is naturally curly, and I just don't think it meshed well with my hair type.

Absolutely love this product! I am incredibly pasty-white, so I purchased this in SPF 45. This is my first experience with a spray sunblock, and I appreciated the ease of use. It goes on quickly and evenly and has a quite pleasant scent. I tend to get sunburned on my head where I part my hair, and this product made it easy to spray there, but did not make my hair greasy. Also, I just came back from Las Vegas and I applied the sunscreen once in the morning, and needed no application for the remainder of the day...and no sunburn!
