Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte #4 Sweet Honey / Miel Exquis

A little goes a long way for this product. I love all of YSL's Rouge Volupte! The only down side is the price of the lipsticks. They are rather expensive. The amazing thing about these lipsticks are that they're very moisturizing and the colours show through very opaque. With Sweet Honey, it's such a perfect nude lip colour! For me, the tone is just perfect, no pink undertones whatsoever. Unfortunatly, I don't wear lipstick daily so it's a bit of a waste for me to use it so seldomly. But if you're looking for a neutral nude lips look, I'd definetly suggest giving this one a try. Personally, I think it's worth forking out the money for this stuff, not to mention the packaging itself is gorgeous!

Primer/ Corrector -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

I recently purchased this product in #8 which is supposedly suited best for asian skintones. It's a limited edition color and the YSL SA persuaded me really swiftly to purchase this item soon after she tested it out on me. I now use it for the corners of my lips, eye bags and my nose bridge mostly. I would have never in a million years thought that I'd purchase this product nor would I have ever thought it'd be so great! I love this product so much because it makes me look younger and my skin more revitalized. The packaging is very luxurious too! All in all, I have to say that for me, it's a great product and as much as it's rather pricey, I'd still definetly purchase this item again in the future.

Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte - Lingerie Pink

This isn't a color for everyone but I do like it a lot! At first, I was iffy about the bluish pink tone of it but after a while, it grew on me. The packaging was what definetly pulled me in. I was looking for a bluish pink lipstick for a while too and I was very happy when I found this. Though I have to say that the color isn't a day-to-day color. However, it's great on special evenings, parties, etc... The lipstick itself is very moisturizing for me and a little goes a long way. I'd definetly repurchase it in the future. The only down side is that it's rather pricey.

Lip Gloss -Yves Saint Laurent - Gloss Pur #2 - Pure Rose
rated 4 of 5

I bought this a while ago to go with my YSL Rouge Volupté in #7. I love the color of this lip gloss but the down side to it is the price. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the "mango" smell either. I've come to realize that whenever I use the lip gloss, I find myself rather nauseated. The color is gorgeous but I rather feel better than look better. I wouldn't re-purchase the product unless YSL changes the fragrance. All in all, it's rather personal on whether you'll love this product or not. I bought this believing I'd be one of the gals that would love it's smell but instead, I ended up being one of those that hated it. If you can, I'd highly recommend trying the product first before purchasing it.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner - Baked

I love this stuff! I've been using it everyday now with my makeup routine for the past half year and it's lasted for so long! I've received many compliments about it from people all around me. A little goes a long way but you can layer it to get a heavier effect as well. The only down side about this product is the price can be quite high for something rather simple. However, I'd still buy it as the colors seem to be more bold than any other glitter eyeliners I've seen.

Powder -BeneFit Cosmetics - Hello Flawless!
rated 4 of 5

I bought this product in the color, champagne a while ago when I was in the states as it seemed like a somewhat new product by BeneFit. From all my past experiences, I thought BeneFit had rather cute and funky packaging whilst their products were all pretty good as well. So I picked this up. Not the cheapest product but it works really well for me. It definetly has coverage but of course, it's best if you still use a concealer underneath, in addition to the powder ontop. Keep in mind that this IS advertised as a foundation that works and covers much like a concealer. Therefore, it is a bit heavier than most of your powdered foundations. If you use the sponge that it comes with, it gives you a somewhat caked-on look but if you use the brush, it's supposed to be more subtle. However, I find that with the brush technique, it doesn't cover enough of what I want so I'm generally using the sponge to apply this stuff. The product lasts a long time for me and I think it's possibly the best foundation I've used up to date. Only thing that threw me off about this product and made me give 4 lippies is only primarily the price for a brand such as this one.

Powders -Clinique - Clinique Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder
rated 3 of 5
darkenedxstar 5/19/2009 5:25:00 AM

I bought this product because I saw it on a magazine ad and it seemed like it'd fit me. So I went and purchased it. I already read the reviews and like everyone has mentioned before. I still have to use cover up in order to hide any pimples and blemishes. However, it definetly does cover most of the redness around my face. The brush that the powder comes with is what I use. It's not the best brush but it's small and compact which is the reason why I like it. The bristles on the brush however aren't soft so if you want, toss it out and use a better brush. Overall, the product works but it's not a miracle product.

Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Eye Definer Felt-Tip Eye Marker
rated 3 of 5

I have bought this eyeliner 3 to 4 times. The first time for my eyeliner, it was really wonderful and worked so nicely!! I loved how precise it allowed me to get and detailed. Then after 3-4 days, the ink seemed to have been all used up. So I bought another one and this time, it was hard, pointy and dry. Now matter how hard I drew onto my eyelid, it barely showed anything. So I thought maybe I was just unlucky buying that one. So I bought another one and it basically was a little better this time. But it was still not as good as the first time. I'll just guess that each eyeliner is if you're lucky or not -- then you'll get a good one. Otherwise, you won't? But if it's soft and inky for you, it's a really good liquid eyeliner!
