Maybe I have high expectations, or I'm just really snobby, but this matte black eyeshadow was just not the match for me. After reading the small but majority amount of excellant reviews, I ran to the nearest drugstore to pick this baby up. Needless to say, after several attempts, this shadow did not withstand my oily lids. It faded and creased in literally 7 seconds, whether or not I had a primer on. I feel that I'm the only one that disliked this product and I am now back on the hunt for my holy grail matte black.
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst in 070 Soft Nude [DISCONTINUED]

Overall: I really really really REALLY wanted to just love this lipstick and never put it down. The consistency is lovely and the packaging is lovely and the colour is lovely. But oh deary, it is not the nude for my skin tone. *crey crey* It unfortunately makes my lips more bigger than they are, and not in a good way. If I was a bit paler, it would be absolutely gorgeous! Packaging: The quilted front and backs are so pretty and luxurious looking for a DS lipstick. The bullet is perfectly shaped for my lips and I love that they put a little coloured icon thingy (I don't know) on the top. Price: For a Revlon lipstick, I didn't exactly expect a $3 price. It's pretty average and I'm fine with it. Repurchase? If it was more flattering, most definitely. Right now though, nope. :(
Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Concealer

Overall: When I first bought the cohesive foundation of this concealer, I THOUGHT I was in love. So I thought, hey let's try this product out. I got the same first impression that I loved it. In all honesty, it's alright. Not the best, but not the worst. I use this concealer more than the actual foundation. I find that it isn't as slimy but definitely goopier in consistency. I have pretty bad dark circles for a teenager and this doesn't cover them flawlessly like I would like. Really in short, it's performance is alright. Packaging: Not impressed with how the product just drowns the applicator. It can get extremely messy and irritating. Price: $8.95? Are you serious? For this product, it should really be $5. That's more realistic. Repurchase? Heck to the NO.
Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner - Black
daniemarie143 7/24/2012 4:44:00 PM
Overall: To start off, I'm a huge fan of Wet N Wild, and when I saw the majority of the great reviews on this eyeliner, I caved in and bought it. Needless to say, I'm in the minority that hates it. It was a complete miss. I have monolids, and even better, they're extremely oily. 10 minutes after application, which involved a lot of running and skipping of the product, my eye makeup was smeared and flaky. Not cute. Price: At $3.99, its definitely a less expensive eyeliner compared to say Maybelline's or Revlon's. Packaging: I absolutely loathe this packaging. The cap is plastic and has no possibility of the ensuring that the product will dry out. I nearly depotted the entire thing when I accidentally lost my grip. Repurchase? Not a chance.
Lipstick -Milani - HD Advanced Lip Color - Classy Nude

Overall: I've been on the hunt for the perfect nude lipstick for quite a while... and I will just say, this is definitely one of my favorites! It's semi-sheer, but not a complete tinted lip balm and it's very build able to a nice color. I love that it doesn't make me look dead and feels completely weightless on my lips! The smell I can handle, but may be a turn-off for sensitive people... Price: It's pretty standard for a drugstore lipstick. Packaging: I love that it looks so sleek :) But the clicking sound that it makes sort of annoys, I guess I'll just have to get used to it! Repurchase: HECK YEAH! I'm on the run to buy more colors as you read this...
This is HG material, hands down. And... guess what? This was my first concealer and I already know its my HG. The coverage is fantabulous and it doesn't crease of flake for me. I love it! However, I made the horrible mistake of getting one TWO shades lighter than my skin (NC35), so word of advice... check that you got the right color and you keep packaging and receipt for returning. I love this concealer besides the fact that I got the wrong shade and wasted $25 :( But I have girlfriends that are lighter than me :)
This color is gorgeous on my skintone (NC35), it doesn't really show up as a mint, more like a pale blue. But I adore it :) Unfortunately, it has THE crappiest formula EVAR. Very goopy and streaky, however, i can still work with it :)
