Lip Treatments -Almay - Pure Tints Protective Lip Care

Well, I bought this before reading the reviews (bad!) because there was a 2 for 1 package at Rite Aid. The package described the color as a SHEER TINT and that is just not true. Whoever wrote that blush is hot hooker pink is on the money. I was expecting a sheer wash of color on the lips and this is definitely not it. I truly don't think blush could work for anyone. With that said, however, the clear is fine, though it's not really clear. It's a tiny bit of frosty pink, but that is really a sheer wash, so it's OK. It feels good on and I like the spf. So, I use the clear over other lippies (or just when my lips need to be moisturized), but that blush one is terrible.
Styling Products -Aveda - Hang Straight [DISCONTINUED]

I really didn't like this product. Although it did make my hair straight, it also made it limp and took any volume away. I thought I was using too much, but this happened every time I switched things around. I have to put it near my roots, because that is where my hair is the waviest, but, in turn, it would make my roots flat and blah. By the way, I do have very thick hair, so most styling products don't cause this kind of problem. I can't imagine what it does to those w/ less thick hair.
I really like this blush a lot. I haven't seen Orgasm, so I don't know how close this compares. It gives me (MAC NC15/NC20) a very nice, natural looking flush. It does need to be built up a bit, but I do like my blush more on the sheer side, so it works great for me. It does have a glowy, but not sparkly look and is great for everyday.
This is pretty much my staple blush. Like the other reviewer said, it's not sparkly, but does leave a beautiful glow somehow. It is kind of a sheer blush, which I love because I can use a little or a lot depending on the effect I want. I this color would probably suit most skin tones. I am MAC NC15/NC20/C2.
Moisturizers -Aveeno - Skin Brightening Daily Moisturizer SPF 15

I generally like this moisturizer a lot. I like that you can barely see the little sparkles unlike other products that leave a glitter look on your face. It moisturizes well and it lasts. I love that it has sunscreen. And, I do think it has improved my skin's texture. My only dislike is that it leaves my skin feeling just a little bit greasy. Not overly so, but not perfect. Still, I would probably buy it again until I found something that did all this does w/o the v. slightly greasy feeling.
Toners -L'Oreal - Pure Zone Toner - Garnier Pure Lotion in Europe

This stuff is terrible! I wanted something just to remove last traces of makeup/dirt and I saw this was made for breakouts (which I have only about once a month if that), so I thought it would be great to stop the breakouts entirely. WRONG! Instead, it made me breakout more. Into the garbage this goes....
I have found my HG!!!!! I LOVE this foundation. I use MAC's foundation brush (which I also love) to apply this just in the areas I need it to cover up old scars/redness (mainly cheek areas) and then very lightly dust Studio Fix on top (with a brush) to even everything out. Perfect looking skin! Even my husband complimented it and he NEVER notices something like that. Plus, the color and coverage stay true all day.

This is really weird. No product ever makes me break out (I used Accutane a few years ago and have had under 5 pimples since), but this did. When I started using it, I had a few small pimples after a few days. This was the only thing I changed in my routine, so I suspected this was the cause. I stopped and had no more pimples, but started again and 3 days later, sure enough, I got one. I see this hasn't happened to anyone else, so it's definitely odd. However, without the break-out problem, it did leave my skin looking and feeling very nice and smooth. Great product for someone w/o this problem.

The samples I got are: Eye Area Therapy, Face Firming Activator, Gentle Cleanser, Face Finishing Moisturizer, and Firming Facial Toner. The eye area therapy burned the cr*p out of my eye area! I've never felt anything like that and my skin is NOT sensitive. Same with the firming facial toner! I had to put some serious moisturizer on afterwards to soothe my skin. The face finishing moisturizer did work well and was moisturizing without being greasy, but had the WORST smell ever....like a perm treatment! YUCK! The gentle cleanser was OK, left my face feeling a little oily, so it's probably better for those with dry skin. The face firming activator was nice. It didn't burn like the rest of the stuff and made my skin look smooth, but nothing spectacular. Overall, a big thumbs down and those with sensitive skin really must be careful with this stuff!
Styling Products -Citre Shine - Shine Miracle Anti-Frizz Polisher

This stuff is awesome! I've had it for awhile and always used it to smooth out my ends after I blow dried/ironed my hair. However, I ran out of the usual stuff that I put in my hair before using the straight iron. So, I put in some of this (lower 2/3 or so only), let my hair air dry overnight, and then straightened it with the iron in the morning. A few minutes ago, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and was astonished at how great my hair looked! I will not go back to the higher priced stuff I previously used. This stuff is great and cheap!
I'm so sad....after hearing all the raves, I tried this foundation (those samples are a great idea!), but it was just too dark for me. I'm a MAC C2 (which seems to be a tad on the dark side lately as I am so pale during winter) and the lightest warm shade was just too dark. However, it was so easy to use and felt so good going on. It also covered up very well. I will definitely try this again when I have a little more color.
Lip Treatments -Clinique - Superbalm Lip Treatment

My friend gave me this for Christmas and I can already notice the difference in my lips! They have been so dry during the cold weather and this stuff makes them soft without the burning of some other lip treatments (like Carmex). It is pretty thick, though, so I'm not sure it would work well under lipstick. But, on its own, it has a nice shine while making my lips so soft! Great for use at night too.....you'll wake up to supersoft lips.
I have been using this for a couple of weeks now. Although the coverage is buildable enough, I find that I like it better as a powder rather than an all over foundation. Right now, I am using just a little liquid foundation/concealer over old scars and under my eyes and then I dust this on with a fluffy brush. That way, there's no caking up and not as much unnecessary "stuff" on my face. I do find it difficult to use as an overall foundation because it tends to be noticeable in the areas where I try to build up the coverage. However, if I just dust it like powder over my foundation/concealor, it's a very smooth finish and the areas w/ more product don't stand out.
I always come back to this stuff for a good, basic mascara. I love that the wand is smaller than a lot of other mascaras because I find that it makes application easier. I wipe the excess off with a tissue before applying (I do this with all mascaras) and it looks great. Love it!
This stuff is great for my hair. I truly find that it lies flatter after using this. It's a bit different than other conditioners because it feels like it's really difficult to rinse out of your hair. My hair is thick, so this works well with my hair, but I think it might be too heavy for fine hair. For me, I love it. Smells great too.
