Moisturizers -L'Oreal - L'Oreal Skin Genesis Daily Moisturizer, SPF 15 Lotion
dangerpuss 5/27/2009 10:04:00 PM
I've used this in combo witht he night version and it's been the only change in my routine for the last three weeks or so. I like and dislike this product as it's been both good and bad. PRO: It really evened out my skin tone and left my skin feeling all soft and smooth. I was happy about the sunscreen included. CONS: It balled up when I put my makeup on, made me break out more, dried my skin out in weird places (forehead and cheeks) and has a very strong perfume/chemical smell. Sorry guys, wont be using this again....next!

Moisturizers -L'Oreal - Skin Genesis Deep Action Night Complex

I both like and dislike this product as it does good and bad things for my skin. Basically, I love how it really evened out my skin tone and left it feeling really soft and lovely. However, after a few days my skin started to go "flaky" in places it's never been dry or flaky before (forehead, cheeks) and I started seeing a lot more small blackheads and under skin pimples than before. The only thing I changed in my routine was using both this night and the day moisturiser so I came to the conclusion it was these two products that were affecting my skin.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Volume Mascara
dangerpuss 9/30/2008 7:48:00 AM
I purchased this hoping it might replace my Covergirl LashExact which I love but it's started to flake on me. I was sorely disappointed as it wasn't even half as good for me. I found the formula too liquid, it took ages to dry and seemed to stick to my lashes in such a way that they all joined together and formed a few big lashes instead of lots of separated volumous ones. It smudged under my eyes and made them kinda sensitive but it didn't flake :-P I like the packaging but I'm a fan of a wand that stays in one place instead of bending around while I run it through my lashes. I wont be buying this ever again, I used it twice and now it's just sitting at home and will never get used.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Exact Waterproof
dangerpuss 5/2/2008 1:36:00 AM
I have used the non-waterproof version of this since it came out and was wanting the waterproof for summer. Unfortunately, I thought I'd just be getting the same product but waterproof and I was so wrong! I found this product so clumpy and gluggy compared to the normal one and instead of lash separation they all stuck together and looked so fake :-( Not happy with this. May have to try maybelline instead since they've got a version of this brush now.

Moisturizers -Olay - Regenerist Enhancing Lotion with UV protection
dangerpuss 10/28/2007 10:46:00 PM
I've been using this product for the last three weeks and I'm loving what it has done to my skin. When I started with it I had sensitization around my chin and had a lot more spots than usual due to using another SPF moisturiser that I hoped would do the job. After reading the reviews on MUA I decided to give it a go and am very pleased with the results. I have oily/dry combo skin that has occasional breakouts. I found that using this has made my skin absolutely fantastic and I no longer have to wear powder and only use concealer around my eyes and on spots now. It has evened out my skin tone fantastically and it's great to know I'm also getting sun protection now. I only wish this was tinted as then it would be the only product I ever use! The only negatives I found were that if I applied too much in the morning by the afternoon I was more greasy/oily looking than normal in my T zone. Also, if the packaging wasa dark or non-see through bottle then I could be sure that the product was less likely to degrade. For the price, the pump bottle (which is better for the ingrediants staying stable than pots) and the results it gave me this is a fantastic product! Still looking for a perfect tinted moisturizer with SPF though : D However, I may just use this and powder.

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Good-bye Cellulite
dangerpuss 10/4/2007 11:30:00 PM
I have used this in combination with starting a new exercise routine and have been putting in on pretty much every morning for the past four weeks. It hasn't gotten rid of my cellulite but I'm not expecting it to. However, it has firmed up the skin where I've been applying it and it's just made my legs look so toned and firm now! I'll definately be buying more, I don't use that much since I only use it on the top half of my legs and bottom. I think it's great. Now I just need to do more exercise : P

Tinted Moisturizer -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer in Light to Medium
dangerpuss 10/4/2007 10:59:00 PM
After trying for ages to find a cheapish TM for summer that also has SPF in it I tried this one. I loved it at first, I think the colour is great for my olive based medium skin tone, it gave a really even coverage and went on really easily. Unfortunately, after three weeks of using it I'm getting more and more pimples every day and as this is the only product I've been using that's different, it has to be this. I have combination, oily and dry, acne prone, sensitive skin (argh! so hard to find products for!). I liked this product but have to discontinue use as it was making me break out with lots of little clogged pores everywhere. On the hunt again!

Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Skin Smoothing Cream
dangerpuss 5/21/2007 10:52:00 PM
I've just started using this product again after trying it a few years ago. I usually use the Active Moist from dermalogica during summer and I knew I would get flaky and dry in winter as always so I thought I change to this as it was nice from previous experience. When I tried it the first time it was too heavy for my skin, however, now I'm in my mid 20s my skin loves it! it's smoothing, mattifying, makes my skin feel nice and plump. I'm hoping it'll stay this way! As I said, i've only started using this product again recently i.e. last week! *crossed fingers*

Treatments -Dermalogica - Skin Hydrating Booster
dangerpuss 5/21/2007 10:40:00 PM
I was recommended this by my beautian in addition to my normal routine during winter and for my eyes. I use just four drops of it after my toner and before my moisturiser all over, especially my eyes. Before using it my under eye area felt quite thin and was getting very wrinkly for a 25 y/o! Also, around my chin and nose I used to always get heaps of flakiness and redness. After using this product morning and night for a week it all just disappeared and now my under eye skin is firm with less noticable wrinkles and the skin around my chin and nose is nice and plump and normal : ) I hate to think of how my skin would be if I discontinued using it! Very expensive but I beleive if it's for the health of your skin, no price is too high.

Scrubs -Dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant
dangerpuss 5/21/2007 10:21:00 PM
It worries me that a lot of people using this product seem to be using it completely wrong and then complaining about it! First of all, it's not a cleanser! It's an exfoliant! Being a DAILY microfoliant, if you don't use it daily, after cleansing, it wont work properly. If you find it dries your skin out too much when used daily then don't use it at all! Not every product can be for everyone. Secondly, this product is supposed to be used as a foaming exfoliant. Sprinkle a little into your damp hands, rub it around a bit, if it doesn't foam in your hands use more water, don't be shy with it! Once it's foaming in your hands, then apply it to your face. I know this because I went to a dermalogica product info night at one of their institutes. I use this product every day, my skin is combination with both mega oily and extra dry parts. If I use this regularly my skin gets more even, so soft, bright and smooth. I LOVE it. I hope you girls start using this product correctly from now on!

Powder -BeneFit Cosmetics - Get Even #2
dangerpuss 5/21/2007 10:10:00 PM
I've never used a powder before and only tried this because of an instore promotion where I got a free mini-makeover. I had seen this product in magazines and things but didn't really believe it would be any good and I thought it would be really obvious and heavy. However! The lady applied it to only half of my face, really lightly as I said I didn't use foundation or powder and didn't want anything heavy, I instantly could notice the difference and loved it! I have combination skin, acne prone, shiny up top and dry down the bottom...very hard to look after! I was worried as to my knowledge it's talc based so should clog pores. I bought it anyway thinking I could use it when I go out on special occasions. Since then, I wear it everyday, have had no more breakouts than usual and EVERYONE comments on how great my skin is, even my boyfriend who sees me day in and day out. He doesn't think I have anything on! So, a light dusting with a nice powder brush gives me a flawless face, matte yet dewy and so, so even! I love it! Only con I can see is the price and the fact that if it's put on heavy it gets a bit obvious.
