My lips are very sensitive, but the Guerlain formula is perfect. It keeps my lips moisturized and the color lasts long. Rose Malicieux is a beautiful pink with blue undertones. It has the typical rose Guerlain smell, which only lasts a short time. It compliments my NC43 skin tone and is well worth the high price.
This cleanser cleans well without stripping the skin. It is an excellent cleanser to remove makeup effectively. The cleanser contains small blue spheres which burst when washing your face. The cleanser lasts approximately 1 year with daily use. You will only need a small pea size amount of cleanser to wash your face as it is very foamy. I use a gentle organic cleanser in the mornings, and the Clarins cleanser in the evenings to remove makeup with my Clarisonic. When it comes to cleansers Clarins is the best.
I am currently using the Dead Sea Mud Pac version. I absolutely love it! It comes in plastic bottle and can be used up to approximately 7 times (about 100ml bottle). The price was AU$9 at Priceline pharmacy. The clay mud mask is cheap and effective. It draws out impurities and leaves my skin pore-less (only temporarily). The mask also removes my minor blackheads around my nose. I keep the mask on for 25 minutes twice a week, and then take a shower to wipe off. I recommend this as a cheap mask to try! Just as effective as my AU$130+ mask from Pevonia Botanica- but much more bang for your buck.
Scrubs -Ren - Jojoba Microbead Purifying Facial Polish

I purchased this scrub after using harsh apricot scrubs (which can damage the skin in the long term). The jojoba beads in this scrub roll around the skin providing a gentle exfoliation. The packaging is hygienic and provides a generous amount per pump, the pump has never clogged. I use this once a week on my skin for a gentle exfoliation. After using this scrub my face feels smoother and softer. I recommend this for people with sensitive skin like me.
Masks -Chantecaille - Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask

I didn't use this as a mask, I used this as a night time moisturizer. The following morning I would wash this off my face, and my skin always appeared brighter and clearer! I have sensitive skin and the cream is truly gentle, it does not irritate at all. I love this cream, it is my most favorite! It makes my skin glow, and my complexion looks amazing. But the price .......... I cannot justify spending AU$115 on such a small tub. If I could afford this I would slather it on my face every night for ever......
I love this cleanser! I have combination skin, wear makeup during the week days and in summer my skin can become very oily. This cleanser is amazing with my Clarisonic Plus (and work very well manually). It is the best cleanser I have used for removing makeup. It leaves me with a squeaky clean feeling without stripping my skin of oil. But I don't use this in winter as it is feels quite drying. I would not recommend this cleanser for people with dry skin. After using this cleanser for several months I notice my skin is smoother, less blemishes and looks much clearer. One tube has lasted me about 11 months, well worth if for the price.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Clarisonic PLUS Sonic Skin Cleansing System

I am writing a review after using the Clarisonic Plus for 9 months. I mainly bought this for my Keratosis Pilaris, which I have all over my arms and shoulders. I have found that the Clarisonic helped with buffing away the rough parts but hasn't prevented KP from reappearing. I also use this on my face once a day to remove my makeup at night. I use both the Peter Thomas Roth gentle cleanser and Clarins Cottonseed cleanser. I have noticed that my skin appears cleaner, my pores are less blocked and my face overall appears smoother. Using the Clarisonic with a good cleanser, toner and moisturizer has helped my skin improve significantly. The Clarisonic removes my makeup much better than manual washing. Also the brush is very sturdy, I use this in the shower and have dropped it on the tiles many times and it always works! I would recommend this for a more thorough clean of your skin (especially if you wear makeup every day like me), but don't expect miracles.
I adore this concealer! I have NC43 skin tone and dark hereditary eye circles, the Honey shade was a perfect match for me. I balked at the price, but was curious about the hype so I paid $82 for this on Strawberrynet. The texture is creamy and highly pigmented. It glides onto my skin easily, and I use a brush to lightly blend it in. I found the concealer doesn't crease or crack if I use my primer underneath (it does crease if I use a heavy moisturizer underneath) and finishing powder on top. It doesn't appear cakey on the skin. Initially I hesitated because the price was too high, but I have been using this concealer 5 times a week for the past 12 months and I am about 1/2 way through! I will definitely be repurchasing this product.
I paid $34 for this concealer in Australia - a complete waste of money. This concealer cracks and creases after1 hour! It is very very sheer. If you have dark eye circles like me, stay away from this concealer. I ended up throwing this away.
I have NC43 skin tone and combination skin. I found this foundation to be a perfect match for skin. The foundation didn't oxidize like my MAC Studio Fix foundation. The consistency was great and easy to apply with a brush. I didn't experience any streaking like other reviewers. Many people commented that it looked as if I wasn't wearing any foundation! If you apply this foundation with a heavy hand it can look cakey, but a quick spray of Studio fix or water will make it look more natural. In Australia this cost me $50, I would prefer to try other brands for this price.
This foundation must be applied with a light hand - otherwise you will get cake face. I have NC42 skin tone and I found that the foundation oxidized slightly, leaving a faint orange hue on my skin. It has a very thick consistency and is quite heavy, hence you only need one pump. The smell is terrible but only lasts for about 5 minutes. After about 4 hours I need to blot my T-zone, but the foundation has staying power. I won't be repurchasing this foundation due to the orange hue, it doesn't leave a natural appearance.
Treatments (Eye) -Kiehls - Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
danarana 9/4/2012 5:06:00 AM
During the cold winter the skin on my eyelids cracked and would bleed slightly. After using this cream for 2 days my skin had healed and was well moisturized. It does not help with dark circles - nor does it claim to. The cream is simply a moisturizer. This cream doesn't migrate into the eyes and hasn't caused any stinging. It's a thick cream but turns watery upon application, making it easier to spread. The small tub has lasted me more than 6 months. I love this cream and will be buying another tub!
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher
danarana 9/4/2012 4:57:00 AM
This product did nothing for my skin! It's main ingredient is silicone, which leaves a smooth texture on the skin. However the product itself does not improve the skin or minimize pores, despite its claims. A complete waste of money! I ended up using this as a primer.
This cream is simply a moisturizer. It does nothing for dark circles or puffiness. The cream is not too heavy and leaves a slight greasy appearance. I found that the cream would migrate into my eyes, and cause a stinging sensation. I will not repurchase this creme. I prefer Kiehl's Avocado eye cream, which is around half the price.
This toner is pricey but well worth it! After using my Clarisonic, I use the toner with a cotton wool bud and wipe it over my face gently. It picks up the remaining dirt and doesn't leave a sticky residue on my skin. When I stopped using the toner for 2 weeks, I noticed the black heads on my nose reappearing and my pores became clogged. Although it is pricey the bottle has lasted me 12+ months.
