Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

Best paired with MUFE HD foundation. This is a white, translucent powder that helps set the foundation and make it last. This powder gives my face a touchable, soft feel and seems to set my make-up. Although i'm currently not using a kabuki brush, i'm using a regular face powder brush, i would however recommend using a kabuki (i need to buy another one, because the one i currently have is for bronzer and they don't run cheap). The lady at sephora instructed me to use a stippling motion, which helps set the make-up. My only problems with this product is the fact that i think it makes my face look whiter? This is quickly resolved by applying my nars blush/bronze over the HD powder, i find this helps. Also, word of advice, when you're all sweaty from dancing and partying in the clubs, be careful how you apply this powder to your face, especially after you've had a few to drink. I don't even think i'd recommend this for spot blotting. I did this very thing while out having a good time and then later on in the evening i noticed i had a tinge of white above my lip! I guess the powder didn't completely absorb all the oil and stayed on! mortifyingg! also they could've packaged this product a little smarter. i find when it gets shaken up in my purse there's all this excess powder that ends up on the side or on my counter, such a waste. But, all in all my skin looks flawless when i have this on, and i really don't have to touch up my face during the day <3

Moisturizers -Marcelle - Aquarelle Aqua-Matte Hydrating Fluid

This light, moisturizing fluid has become a cosmetic staple of mine. It was first recommended to me by a friend who had used it as a great base to foundation or face make-up. I gave it a try and have been using it ever since. It's really light, as the name suggests and has a matte finish. Since i currently don't use primer i use this instead as a base for my make-up. It's also light enough to use as a lotion before bed, when my face isn't very dry.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

So i have been searching for a foundation for a while, and typically i wear a powder foundation or just concealer and powder daily because i was blessed with good skin and there isn't much to cover up. I had heard about this foundation and made sure that i reviewed it, and watched videos on it etc. I went into sephora and had it sampled on me, with the HD transluscent finishing powder as well. I used it a couple times and loved how it evened out my skin tone, gave my face a soft, matte finish and really melted into my skin, barely being noticeable. The color is right on, they have so many shades to choose from, the texture is very light. When i apply some on my finger it starts to run a bit, because it's that light! It doesn't feel like i'm wearing anything when i wear my HD foundation, and it lasts almost all day although towards the end of the day i do notice some oilyness, but that's just my skin. I'm going to find a good powder next! Anyways, my skin looks picture perfect, as the HD suggests. The great thing is, a little goes a long way. The small, sephora sized sample i was given has lasted me about 6/7 applications (no lie) so don't apply too much! I would recommend applying it with your fingers in a circular motion, for the most natural finish, and using a brush or sponge for blending in the more difficult areas such as the nose, jawline etc. Also, make sure you're skin is not dry, as this takes away from the finish. Use a primer or other light lotion before. Also, from what i've seen on some video reviews people say it isn't a high coverage foundation, so be aware of that. I purchased it because i wasn't looking for anything heavy, or full-coverage. All in all, i'm greatly satisfied! Hope this helped xo.

Lotions/ Creams -Queen Helene - Cocoa Butter Creme

WOW! What a great find! So one day i was searching in the lotion/shampoo isle trying to find something to include in a care package, to send to my best friend, who is currently in africa. She said to send her toiletries from home and i randomly found this lotion and thought this would be perfect to prevent from any drying that might occur from the intense african heat. Anyways...it ended up being too heavy to include so i decided to try it out myself, i wasn't expecting much for the $8 that i paid but i was surprised. It's got a great absorbent consistency. It's a greasier formula, hence the fact that it is a 'creme' and it does have a lot of nut oils etc in it. I love putting this lotion on right before bed, that way it has time to sink in. And then i wake up with soft supple skin. I also tan regularly and this really helps make sure my skin doesn't dry out between tans. For this price how could you go wrong? This would be especially good for drier skins.
