There is a whole lot a packaging for what you actually get. I did like That Gal primer but the Erase Paste was way too dark, and the other concealers were hardly blendable. Basically I paid almost 40 bucks for a sample size of That Gal, everything else was a waste.
Mascara -L'Oreal - Double Extension Ultra-Lengthening Mascara

Blech! This might be one of the worst mascaras EVER! First of all, the "primer" does nothing but clump up on your lashes, and then when you put the mascara over it, you can still see the white primer! After a couple of hours it flaked even more and looked like I was wearing white mascara almost. I didn't even give it another shot-total waste of money. Returned ASAP.
I too, got caught up in the "hype" of the magical promises this product made, so I decided to make the investment with a kit that I bought at Ulta, which had several trial size products, including the Photo Finish. Thank goodness I didn't spend on only the Photo Finish, because it stinks!!! It made me break out all over, and made my normally even, not too sensitive skin ANGRY...also, I found that upon foundation and powder application after using this product, there were "little balls" that formed if the Photo Finish wasn't rubbed in perfectly in certain places. Never again will I buy anything Smashbox, as I am also not impressed with the quality of the other cosmetics that came in the kit.
Got this as a gift for Christmas, and I like it, but it didn't change my life. I take very good care of my makeup, and they are kept in a professional style train case at all times. For no apparent reason, one of the shadows cracked exploded all over the place. (It HAD to be the black?) I also find that the shadow is a bit too soft. When I use my brushes with MAC, I don't get a lot of shadow falling all over the place like with this one. The colors are good though and they blend nicely. Overall, good but not great.
Makeup Brushes -Philosophy - The Supernatural Brush

Bought this after all the great reviews......not so impressed. Said it works with any foundation, but I also experienced that the brush absorbs most of your product, so you end up using 2-3 times as much. Also did not feel very "soft" for blending. I still felt that my makeup was just slapped on even after much effort on my part. I kept my receipt so I was able to return.
I really love this foundation. It gives a nice coverage, not too thick and not too thin. If you get the correct match to your skin, it blends very well and leaves a nice somewhat tacky finish. To me, I prefer this because then your powder goes on like a dream and sticks to your skin, instead of floating above it. I like the fact that this is SPF 15 also. I have had the same bottle for a few months now, and a little goes a long way. Usually a dab on each cheek, forehead, nose and chin is plenty to cover my entire face and neck easily.
LOVE THIS STUFF! Bought this on a whim, I was out of mascara and found this randomly placed at a beauty store. The name intrigued me and it was 7 bucks, so I figured what the heck! I was pleasantly surprised to find a product that does what it says it will do! It truly does give you a "doll eye" look. I have long lashes but they are very straight. After I curled and applied, it not only lengthens, but holds the curl all day long. I had people ask me whether or not those were my "real" eyelashes from the moment I started wearing this. I wish they carried NYX in more places though. Hard to find, but will buy again for sure!
