I LOVE this BB Cream! When I first tried it, I bought it in the Fair/Light colour and it made me look very pale and almost sick so it was thrown to the back of my makeup drawer for a while... However, I'm not the type to give up on products! I tried it again a week or so later and realised that it actually does even out my skin quite well and provides light to medium coverage (depending on how much you wear) which can give you a sort of subtle 'my skin looks perfect but I'm not wearing any makeup... HA!' look. I did need to use it in conjunction with concealer though to cover any blemishes, but this wasn't really a problem for me. I decided it wasn't the product that had made me look so terrible the first time I'd tried it, it was the colour, so I went out and bought the Medium/Dark one to mix it with, and the resulting shade was a perfect match :) I only have two issues with this product - the first is the shade selection; there are only two to choose from. The Fair/Light is very light and the Medium/Dark is very dark, but mixing the two provides a suitable colour match for me (although I generally personally prefer just having the one colour which suits my skin tone so I don't have to carry around two tubes while travelling). The second is that it is very thick and dries very fast and so I have to work really quickly when blending it into my skin. However, I think the end result is worth it, plus the ingredients are really good for your skin! As for the price - cheap as chips! I got this on sale for under $7 at Chemist Warehouse, which I thought was amazing. It's quite long lasting as well (especially dusted with some translucent powder on top) and feels light on your skin; perfect for every day wear. I also enjoy the slight fragrance, although this may be a problem for some. Definitely will be repurchasing this product!

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Tinted Lip Balm - Pink Blossom
rated 4 of 5

This lip balm is fantastic! I have it in three colours: Pink Blossom, Rose and Red Dahlia, and although I love the other two, this one is my fave! It goes on really smooth and adds a touch of pink that is slightly lighter than my actual lip colour (but not in an unnatural way) - I simply love it. I read some reviews on MUA where people say that these lip balms are not in fact moisturising and actually dried their lips out - I have not experienced this at all! My lips tend to get very dry and I find these quite moisturising, in fact I actually love reapplying! Note: You WILL have to reapply quite often if you are after lasting colour, these last probably only two to three hours max (without eating/drinking) but I have no problems with this. In my opinion, lip balms are meant to be reapplied! Also, I LOVE the smell - like raspberry lollies. Makes reapplying a pleasure! I only have a couple of issues with this - the first is the packaging. It's a large paper tube so when I opened it for the first time (it was sealed with sticky tape) parts of the paper peeled off and now it looks ugly! I do get that it protects the lip balm from melting away in hot weather, but still, would've been nicer if it was more well thought out. Also, the price - I got this on a 3 for 2 deal at Priceline but I paid $30, which is a little steep for three lip balms considering they are pretty small and not the jumbo sized lip balms you expect from the giant packaging! I do think it's worth it though because I had been on the hunt for a moisturising lip balm that provides sheer but pretty colour, and now I have three! Overall, I'm giving it a 4. Very happy with the product, but the packaging and price are a let down.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin - Light
rated 3 of 5

Loved it. Loved it SO MUCH. Except that it broke me out quite badly after only a few days' use, as did the original version, so I can only conclude that there is something in both formulas that is an irritant to my skin :( So sad, because I could easily have gotten into the habit of using this every day instead of foundation... Loved the matte (but glowing) finish, and the colour matched my skin perfectly! Only other con was the packaging - because the formula is really runny, it leaked everywhere after opening it. Would've been better in a bottle with a pump.
