Concealers -Rimmel - Hide the Blemish

I picked this product up randomly and the shade i purchased the shade is Soft Honey. I think i may like this product more than others because the shade is perfect for me. The product is probably one of the best I've ever used. It has a dry and thick consistency so it's great for coverage but because it is dry and thick it tugs the skin during application, which is why it is totally wrong for undereye circles. I've been using it for months and had no problems with it and my skin hasn't any harmful effects from it either. I would recomend this product for people with dry skin or very oil skin; the product will make dry skin even drier and oily skin oilier if that makes any sense.

Powder -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder

With the high costs of mineral foundation out there i came across a cheaper alternative, Mineral Wear. I decided to try the cheaper because i wasn't sure if my skin would be allergic to any of the ingredients. Anyways, i decided loose powder because my skin does get oily during the day so the loose powder would soak up some of the oil. So the packaging i only give a two because the plastic lid easily comes off and when you open the other lid to access the powder, powder flys up and makes the air dusty. I do like that the packaging comes with a sifter for the powder. The item does include a kabuki like brush but i have abandoned it because it does not hold a lot of product and is terrible at blending; i find that a sponge is more effective. For a while i was using my MAC 187 SE but the brush doesn't hold the powder in so makes a mess. The actual product is pretty good; it's finely milled and not chunky. I love that it conceals redness pretty well and that there is a reasonable range in shades. It also blends well with a sponge. If you want heavy coverage i would not recommend this product; this coverage is light to medium. I would purchase this product again because it is mineral and is inexpensive. I would later in the future find an alternative container, perferably with a screw lid.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin ] ] [DISCONTINUED]

I love the colour and the texture is fantastic compared to that Rimmel crap. The product stays on my face pretty well too. What i don't like is that there is so much shimmer, it just looks so unnatural and brings so much attention to the cheeks. I think that blushes should be matte and illuminators should be the products with shimmer to make cheekbones look higher. I would purchase this product again because the application is quick and easy, a little goes a long way and i think i can cope with the shimmer.

Eye Shadow -The Body Shop - Shimmer Cubes palette 07

Not the best eye shadow. I love the colours and packaging but i hate the texture of the shadows. If you use a fluffy brush the pigment is so sheer so i have to layer on or use a stiff brush. The names of two of the shadows are a bit confusing as well. "Argyle Pink" and "Ruby", i have no idea which one is which because the silver and bronze are pretty obvious to there names but the pink and purplely gray, i have no idea. I could probably get better shadows for cheaper too. I don't like this product.

Bronzers -Bourjois - Delice de Poudre

This is the best bronzer i've ever purchased; i got it in San Francisco during the Summer at Sephora for $18. I'd say that's pretty cheap for the quality of this product. I used my MAC 168 SE on it daily and well the logo on the bronzer hasen't even worn of yet! It's pretty crazy. It's December now. Okay so more on the product. The packaging is absolutely adorable, it's brown with the pink logo. The book style is so original, as in it opens like a book and closes with magnets. The actual product looks like chocolate and smells sweet and smokey at the same time; it's very pleasant. The powder is very finely milled and pressed the best I've ever seen. When you run your brush on it, there isn't any chalky run off, not a trace. There is some golden shimmer but unnoticeable when applied to my skin, which is light to medium in tone. Overall the best bronzer I've ever used and i wouldn't look at another one. Mine will probably last for at least five years.
