I have used at least 6 of the Infallible shades over the past 3-4 years. I could not be happier with this product. At my age, I would expect to have problems with drying or flaking or clumping but this product does none of those things and, while I do apply a lip balm or other moisturizer at night, I do not exfoliate or apply more lip balm before the Infallible lip color. It is true that it does feel dry and uncomfortable for the minute or two before you apply the gloss but after that, it is fine. Never sticky like many traditional lipsticks, or dry - just soft, comfortable and weightless. I never carry it with me during the day because I never have to reapply it regardless of what I eat or drink though granted, I do not eat fried foods. I'll admit that those might affect it since it can easily be removed with cold cream or other oily remover. Best of all, it never smears, runs into fine lines around the mouth or leaves those dreadful lip prints on glasses, cups or napkins. I will keep buying this product as long as L'Oreal keeps making it.

I have read reviews elsewhere saying this product was drying and uncomfortable to wear. Once the lipgloss is applied, however, I find it is even more comfortable than a traditional lipstick - not sticky or overly dry. This color is very wearable for every day. Sort of a browny pink - very neutral and not in your face. Although I have to "assist" my red hair these days, I have a natural redhead's complexion and find this does not overpower me as so many colors do. If I want something a bit more intense, I often layer it with one of the other Infallible colors before I apply the lip gloss though be aware that this has to be done in thin layers or it can get cakey on you. I find it does indeed last all day and I never have to carry lip color with me or worry about those disgusting stains on coffee cups or napkins and at my age, the added bonus of it never bleeding into lip lines is the icing on the cake. I have worn this for 3 or 4 years now and am praying they will not discontinue this shade.
