Polishes -Revlon - Copper Penny

This is an HG color for me. I can wear it alone or on top of other polishes for a really gorgeous look. I use it in tandem with China Glaze's For Aurdrey (Tiffany blue) for my go to color combo. It can also be paired with pastels for spring/summer and with dark muted colors for fall and winter. Navy and Emerald are also fantastic color combos with this polish. It covers to well that you can put it on top of other polishes without having to babysit it and waste time with multiple coats. I'm buying a backup for my backup I use this so much. But, like other reviewers said, it's more of a vintage gold than a true copper, but who cares really, the color is so perfect and versatile. GO GET YOU SOME!

After a year of everyday use, I just started to hit pan. I will most definitely repurchase this. I'm also looking into possibly buying another color instead. 'Deep throat' most definitely caught my attention. Haha. Anyway, this has last me a long time and I've gotten compliments on it and I never get compliments on my skin/makeup. I don't have horrible skin by any means, but I just never thought that I'd get compliments on my "beautiful flushed cheeks". I will not buy a dupe of this color, the NARS formula stays beautiful for 12 hours. I've never had to reapply. To me, this line of blushes are definitely worth the cost.

This is my HG foundation and it's out of stock. I'm dying here, Sephora! Nothing else I've ever tried has ever matched my skin like the KvD light 44 shade, nor looked as awesome on my pale and freckled skin. I would give up coffee for a month to get my KvD lock-it foundation fix. ^ That's saying a lot.

Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation

This is a $7(there abouts) medium coverage foundation that I'll buy simply because it's the best of it's type for its price range. But, I don't love this product. Here's why: Currently, I've been using this foundation (for the second time) only because I'm in a bind. My HG foundation, Kat von D's lock-it foundation in light 44, has been out of stock as of late and I hate every other foundation I've ever tried. This Rimmel foundation is cheap, and has a build-able coverage. Apply an all over layer, then apply another layer where you need more coverage. I do find that this foundation transfers a little, but it's nothing horrible and I won't stop use because of it. I use the lightest shade in 100 and it's the wrong color. It's too dark and orangy. I have a more beige undertone and I have the worst time finding a foundation to match me. It's not a super huge deal, I'm a rockstar and I powder and contour and blush and highlight until I look good, but what a waste of time. If I swatched this "light" shade, you'd think I picked a solid medium, it's not light by any means. Yes, it blends out to slightly lighter, but yikes, not even close, really. Also, I'm lucky if this stuff stays on my face for 12 hours, let alone 25. I realize that it's not to be taken literally, but I can definitely see a huge difference from when I put it on in the morning to when I see myself in the afternoon. I moisturize, exfoliate, apply primer (currently testing out Rimmel, Smashbox, tarte, bare minerals, and hard candy to find my HG primer), and I set my foundation with a powder. Regardless, this doesn't blow me away, but I'm stuck with it. Hurry up, Sephora, restock my Kat von D foundation, I'm dying here!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - One 'n Only Argan Oil Spray Treatment

First of all, I love the spray application way better than squeeze bottle application. Also, I use this as a leave in hydrating and glossing spray after I wash my hair, then I use it again as a heat protectant if I run out of my other spray, and lastly, before I leave the house I always mist it on my dry/styled hair. It leaves my hair hydrated and glossy. Not greasy! Some shine sprays such as Fructis are great, but use a small amount and never on your scalp/roots, it will look greasy. Not so with this spray product. I could empty the bottle on my head and I'd still look good. I don't know how it doesn't turn greasy but it just doesn't. So awesome. Also, if this gets on, oh, say your face... don't freak out. It will not make you breakout or look like you applied a pizza to your face. Pick this up at Sally's I promise that you'll find at least one use for it! For virgin hair, color treated, heat styled, doesn't matter. It's great.

Ok, first of all, stop using this every day. Just use it once a week. Twice a week if you absolutely have too, but using it too often can actually lead to damaging your hair... which is the opposite of what we're all trying to do here. I have super bleached light blonde hair that I dye lilac (just so you can grasp how light my hair is). I wash my hair every 2.5 days. I don't have an oily scalp so I can get away with it. Um, anyway, use this once a week, some other non keratin deep conditioner the other times you wash. I use Aussie 3 minute miracle. By god it actually works. I've tried more expensive conditioners and meh, I actually prefer aussie. So, now yinz all know my secret to pretty hair... also, if you have super damaged hair... don't brush it to death. The elasticity will have been compromised after processing your hair and you need to be gentle with it. Also, in this case, softly wring your hair out after a shower, for god's sake don't towel dry it by giving yourself a noogie. Also, try to minimize blow drying. Take a shower in the evening and sleep on damp hair. And always use a heat protectant when straight ironing. And again, not to beat a dead horse, but don't pull or tug on your hair ever. Treat your hair with some respect. Use kid gloves. Also, that Argon oil misting spray at sallys is awesome. moisturizing and leaves a really beautiful shine on damaged hair. Just be careful, if you do any of the things I mentioned in the above paragraph, there may be no product on earth that can save your hair.

I had ombre hair over the summer, (medium brown near scalp, gradient to a dark strawberry blonde on bottom). So, I wanted to keep the ombre look but just put a wash of red color on my hair. HOLY AWESOME! My hair was a medium redish brown on top and a vibrant red on the bottom. So, I have rebuttals for people complaining about fading and staining: Fading: ALL red dyes fade fastest. Molecules shmolecules, bla bla bla. Anyway, just stop your whining and either re-dye every two to three weeks or use a shampoo with a red tint twice a week. (Clairol is a great brand - Sally's beauty supply). If you want red, you have to live with a small amount of upkeep, but nothing as compared to dyed blonde hair upkeep. Thank your lucky stars you aren't light blonde... holy time waster, Batman. Staining: Yeah, this is a stain monster. But, I have a cheap, magic product that every woman should have in her bathroom anyway. NEUTOGENA OIL FREE MAKEUP REMOVER. <- Some leprechaun somewhere found this stuff at the end of a rainbow. True story. Anyway, I take 5 minutes to apply this hair color like I would when I shampoo, then I use a little bit of the MAKEUP REMOVER on a paper towel or piece of toilet paper, clean off my skin and wait 30 minutes. PUT GLOVES BACK ON when washing out your hair. Get a box of plastic gloves at Sally's. It's worth it. and you can use them when you clean the toilet... they're great to have around. Done. Try not to shower every day, but if you do.. what is 30 minutes out of your day once every two weeks? Your hair will thank you for it.

I use this right after I bleach my hair and then once a week otherwise. This stuff is amazing. I would consider it more of a protein builder and less of a conditioner, although it conditions wonderfully as well. I should have meth-head fried hair with the ferocity that I bleach my hair, but I don't. And I would like to thank this product for making my hair not break off and become and elastic heap of ruin. :)

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - GVP Conditioning Shampoo - Compare to Clairol Shimmer Lights

This is such a great shampoo. I have medium strawberry blonde hair right now, which turns very brassy and yellow after only two days. So, I use this shampoo for 5 minutes, rinse out, then use a conditioner afterwards and my hair looks hot! This is almost like a mini-toner in a bottle. Perfect! I've not experienced any drying, mainly because I use a daily conditioner any time I shampoo. Also, 1-2 times a week I'll do a little deep protein treatment conditioning. The little packets of the Ion brand are amazing. I bought a $15 tub of it that will survive an apocalypse, I love it that much. And don't worry about the smell of this shampoo. I highly recommend that you use a conditioner in your hair care routine which will definitely cover any remaining scent that this product has.

I use this under any mascara I use. I love it. This keeps my lashes curled and separated all day long. This also keeps my mascara from flaking. This is a must have product for me. It also lengthens and adds volume.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal

I have long fairly thick eyelashes to begin with, but this mascara makes them look so awesome after a few coats. I use this for a more dramatic look and Maybelline's Full'N'Soft mascara for a more natural daytime look. I read that some people have flaking problems at the end of the day. I Use Shiseido Mascara Base to keep my lashes curled and then a few coats of whatever mascara I decide to use that day. Anyway, I haven't had any flaking probably because of the base I use.

I don't understand how this product got so many great reviews. I used this religiously (AM & PM) for about 6 months and I noticed no change. It didn't lighten dark circles or reduce puffiness. It did nothing. I'm really wondering how this was rated so high. I bought it based on some of these reviews and I'm completely ticked off that I spent $40 for something that didn't have a purpose and showed zero results. Don't bother buying this product.

Misc Beauty Tools -Rembrandt - 2 Hour White

This has been my go-to teeth whitening product for a year or 2 because I absolutely despise the STRIP method that bunches up and burns and is a hastle to wear. This is potent and in 2 hours at home you'll have super white teeth. The downside, the super whiteness only lasts about 3 weeks or so. But, they give you enough whitening gel in the package to touch up whenever you need too. So really, its not so bad really. My problem is that I'm not the tidiest person and my trays and gel seem to find their place among the depths of my bathroom. Also, the trays are quite slippery and hefty. not my favorite, but they work, so again, WHY am I complaining? I'm trying Aquafresh White Trays right now and I'll review them in a few days when I'm finished. Already i prefer the slim, flexible trays to the bulky mouth guards of this Rembrandt product. For quick whitening, go with Rembrandt 2 hour white! It's sorta annoying to deal with, but it is quick. For white teeth in 5 days or 4 hours (using the trays back to back instead of once a day) go with Aquafresh White trays. They're comfy, the gel doesn't leak, and they cost the same. Time will tell how long they keep my teeth white.
