Mascara -L'Oreal - Double-Extend Beauty Tubes in Blackest Black

I had been looking for this mascara in local drugstores for several months with with very little luck. I finally found it on Amazon.com, and I've been wearing it now for over a month, I'm very pleased with this product so far. There is absolutely no smudging, and the coverage is quite good. I have only one complaint, and that is with the brush which makes applying the product evenly a bit of a challenge. Using the primer does seem to help, but not a great deal. I do like this mascara, in spite of this. If you're looking for a mascara that won't give you raccoon eyes, and doesn't break the bank, you should definitely give this one a try.
I've used this liner for a long time, and keep going back to it for only one reason....it's the only eyeliner I've used that doesn't eventually smudge. There is a tradeoff though, and the caveat is that this mascara is not flake-proof. I do seem get at least 10 to 12 hours of wear out of it before it even begins to flake, thank goodness. When I have a choice between smudging or flaking, I take the flaking...lol. When or if I ever do find an eyeliner that is both smudge-proof and flake-proof, I'll be one happy lady...lol.
The good news is that this mascara does not smudge, and I purchased it for a very reasonable price on Amazon.com. It won't make your lashes longer if they are sparse, but if your lashes are long enough, it will cover them nicely. The bad news (at least for me) is that it comes with a brush that does not distribute the product evenly and as a result, lashes can clump in certain areas if you're not very careful. I think the product could be improved greatly with a better brush with which to apply the mascara, so I'm giving it a rating of 3 out of 5.
Excellent product, and such a bargain! I used to use this all the time when I lived on the west coast, but since I moved to another state, I can't seem to find it anywhere. I will have to do a search on Amazon.com as they carry many products that are difficult to find. I will give it 4 stars instead of 5 as it is not available in my neck of the woods.
I really like this product. It does have a smell, but it is not offensive to me at all. It healed my chapped lips in no time flat and it is a bargain as well. That said, I am really getting a kick out of reading some of the comments about this product. Some of the comments I've been reading are really hilarious...from "ewwwww...I hate this stuff" to "I love this thing to death" and all kinds of funny comments in between...lol. Some are "addicted" to it, others use it every day, and some folks hate the smell, feel and "texture" but use it when they need it. I was just cracking up reading some of the reviews because of the different things people use it for as well, and it kept me entertained for quite some time...lol. Please know...I'm not laughing at you...just with you. You are a wonderful group of ladies here, and I'm very happy to have found this site. It's nice to know this product has been around for quite some time. This is the first time I have ever tried it. I found it recently in the drugstore, and I find that it works better than anything I've used for chapped lips in the past. I give this one a big thumbs up.
After reading all the positive reviews about Clinique's Bottom Lash Mascara, I couldn't wait to try it. The two things most women hate about mascara are the clumping and smudging. I never expected to find the"perfect" mascara, but I can honestly say that after trying almost every brand of mascara out there, this product has to be the closest to perfection I have found. I love the way it adheres to even the tiniest lash, defining and lengthening in such a natural way, I kept thinking this is just too good to be true, but after wearing this mascara all day and throughout the evening, I could not detect even the slightest trace of smudging under my eyes. I bought mine online, and only paid $10 plus shipping, and to me...this is a very reasonable price. There is no doubt that I will purchase this product again. UPDATE: Since I purchased this mascara, the price has gone up to over $17. I also noticed it dries up rather quickly. I decided it is not worth it for the price since the amount is so small (0.07 oz) and I am now trying Blinc Mascara. So far, so good with the Blinc mascara. I will write a review soon for this product as well.
I really love this mascara. I was looking for a more natural-looking mascara, and since I wear mascara on both my upper and lower lashes, I wanted to find one that didn't give me those unslghtly "raccoon eyes" everyone hates. In the past, I have always used the original version (L'Oreal Voluminous} which I like as well. I stumbled across this one in the drug store while I was looking to try out their new "Beauty Tubes" mascara. Since I couldn't find the BT mascara and this one was available, I thought I'd give it a try. I really like the way this mascara lengthens and gives definition without making your lashes look artificial and clumped together. I've been using this mascara for a few weeks, and have not noticed any problems with smudging or flaking. I paid a little over $7 for it, and I like it better than most of the high end brands I've tried so far. I give this one a thumbs up. Additional Comments: I must add that I also agree with one of the posters who said this mascara is good for the lower lashes. I think it probably would work best on those who are only in need of some definition. It may not work as well if your lashes are very sparse. Luckily, this mascara worked out very well for me.
I absolutely love this shade. For some reason, it is perfect for my skin tone. I have been using it for over 10 years. I first heard about this shade after reading an article in one of the magazines about MAC's best selling lipsticks, and at the time, this shade was their best seller. I thought I would try it because I love the nude brownish pink toned lipsticks. I went to Nordstroms because they had a large selection of MAC products, and as soon as I tried it on, I loved it. I will continue to buy this shade as long as they carry it.
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - HIP Jelly Balm [DISCONTINUED]

I really love their new "HIP" line of products. These Jelly Balm lip glosses are excellent. The shade I bought is called "Lucious"...a gorgeous deep berry brown shade. It looks very dark in the pot, but It is very sheer when applied...not dark at all. This is the perfect shade for my very fair and ruddy skin tone, and I will purchase it again for sure. I gave this a rating of 4 instead of 5 because, like most lip gloss products, it does not stay on very long and needs to be re-applied often throughout the day. I do love the way it moisturizes your lips leaving them very soft and smooth. It also has a delicious caramel scent which I love.
I love the quality of this lip gloss because it stays on longer than any I've tried, and it has a gorgeous shine. Iced Latte is a lovely brown-based pink. It is very subtle and sheer and can be worn alone or over your favorite shade of lipstick. I tried L'Oreal lipsticks once in the past, but did not buy them again. I have always loved the colors and quality of their lipsticks, but I really hated the smell. Their new line of products do not have that smell at all. This particular lip gloss has a very yummy fruity smell. They also have another new line of "HIP" products and their "Jelly Balm" lip glosses smell and taste something like caramel...very nice, indeed. I will definitely buy this product again.
I ordered this color online, but when I received it, I (like the previous poster) glanced at the color in the bottle, and wasn't sure I would like the way it looked on my nails because of the grayish cast. This shade is not quite the same online, It looks like it has more tan and less gray in it, but that probably depends on the site you are viewing the product on. I applied it that same evening, and still wasn't quite sure how I felt about this shade until the very next day when I was able to take a good look in the daylight, and realized, to my delight, that it really was a very flattering color for me. The strange thing was that with each day I grew to like it more and more. Go figure...lol. I have also received compliments from family members. I will definitely purchase this shade again.
Top/Base Coats -Creative Nail Design - Super Shiney high gloss top coat

I finally did get to try this, and I must say...I am very impressed. It really does give your nails a fabulous shine, better than any top coat I've tried in the past. It takes a while to dry because it isn't a fast-drying formula, but honestly...it doesn't take any longer to dry than any other brands of nail polishes I have used. That said, I was just a bit disappointed in the fact that it does not self level to correct those little mistakes one makes when applying polish, ie., streaks, bubbles, etc. I will definitely purchase this product again just the same. I do love the shine, and I'm also very pleased that it is big 3 free.
Masks -Freeman - Goodstuff Organics Revitalizing Face mask

This is the first mask I've ever used that doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. It leaves my skin soft and smooth with a lovely long-lasting radiance. I used it right before I went to a luncheon the other day, and received several compliments on how "good you look today". One of my friends said "You have a glow about you. Do you have a new boyfriend?" That really made me chuckle...lol. Yes...it is a little difficult to rinse off, but it is well worth it, and for the price you just can't go wrong. I paid a little over $4 for it in the supermarket. It has a yummy peachy scent, and is creamy and easy to apply. I have combination skin, and after using this mask, my skin always looks brighter, smoother and just "glows" (as a friend of mine said) for days. An excellent product!
Excellent product, and I'm glad I tried it. It certainly does dry fast, and I love the shiny finish. It lasted for about a week as well. I realize now that I should have read the reviews carefully. After reading about this product containing toluene, I will not even consider buying it again. Such a shame. Hope the company does decide to go toluene free as many other companies have. I have ordered a large bottle of CND Super Shiney as I have read all the great reviews here on this product. I have also very happy to find out that CND products are 3 free. Can't wait to try it. Update: I came across an article regarding the use of toluene at an environmental safety site: Apparently, U.S. Food and Drug Association (the FDA) does NOT require that cosmetic products be tested for safety before they are sold here in the U.S. In 2004, Europe BANNED the use of toluene-as well as formaldehyde and dibutyl phthalate in ALL their cosmetics. It is just mind-boggling that cosmetic companies here in the U.S.have very few safety regulations in place to protect consumers.
I love this color, but, I have also purchased "Coney Island Cotton Candy" and to be honest, I can't tell the difference between the two at all, so I believe this could be a dupe. Apart from that, it is lovely. I use it mostly for a French mani, but I also love applying about three coats for a nice opaque look. It has a brownish base to it which is much more flattering for my coloring. You need to apply a thin coat as it can be slightly streaky, but if you apply more than one coat, it will take care of that problem. I'm rating it as a 4 instead of a 5 only because the color is too close (or maybe it is the same color) as OPI's "Coney Island Cotton Candy."
