Moisturizers -Caudalie - Night Infusion
cyberiantrader 12/9/2011 2:30:00 PM
I love this product! I got a large sample in a gift box of "The Creme" and fell in love but couldn't bring myself to pay $150 for a tube so I got this instead because it's half the price. I use it as both a day and night cream since it's winter and dry outside it gives me more moisture. Plus my tinted moisturizer is a 45 spf. This line of products has really transformed my skin!

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Pro Skincare Brush
cyberiantrader 11/29/2011 9:52:00 PM
I was on the fence for a long time with whether or not to purchase a Clarisonic. I finally bucked up and shelled out the dough for this pro version that was offered at my dermatologist office. The girl who does my facials used it on me and I bought it that very day. I figured if I was going to get one I might as well get the best one. I'm so glad I did! I use the profesional level always. If you hold down the button for a long time it automatically beeps and adjusts to that last level and then it doesn't beep constantly when your using it. Just stays on for 2 minutes. I have noticed such an improvement in my skin and I know this has had a hand in it. I can tell just after one day of not using it how much less supple my skin is. It just feels clogged up. I forgot it when I went on vacation recently and I couldn't wait to get back home to my little friend who makes me feel pretty! It's excellent at taking off all my makeup and removing the dull, dead skin that accumulates on my face without any irritating side effects. My moisturizer now soaks into my pores much better, where before it would just sit on top of my skin. The dullness my complexion had before is now gone and I love that when I touch my face it feels soft and smooth! And my skin just looks good. Have been using it for about 5 months and am on my second brush head. I can tell I am ready for brush head number three so I will fork out the money soon for that because it's worth the results.

Tinted Moisturizer -Unlisted Brand - Revision Intellishade SPF 45
cyberiantrader 11/29/2011 7:48:00 PM
I really want to hate this tinted moisturizer because it's difficult for me to get and it's expensive but I always come back to it after trying every other TM out there. I even do a side by side test on either side of my face and check in a few minutes and the Intellishade always shows the best results. I have tried both the Regular the Matt version. I like both but if your skin is dry or lined avoid the matt. I can only use it successfully after going through the OBAGI skin regemen which smoothed out my skin and fine lines. Before it would deposit in my lines and large pores and look cakey.

Moisturizers -Caudalie - Premier Cru La Creme
cyberiantrader 10/25/2011 4:15:00 PM
I think I've found my new HG moisturizer and eye cream. I got a combo that included both the face cream and the eye cream together. I can't believe how even toned and smooth and plumped up and juicy this makes my skin look. I've only been using it for a just under a week and every morning right after I wash my face it's dry under my eyes and crepy and wrinkly. Then I apply these products and it instantly soothes, rehydrates, and evens out my skin surface. Even my under eye area looks much better and it improves each day I use the cream. It is sooooo expensive, a price I would never consider paying in my thirties but I need to now. Heck, if I had used it back then I probably wouldn't be in the skin predicament I'm in now so I wish i would have found it then. I have been using less expensive products that are super thick and greasy to try to rehydrate and plump up my face, like estee lauder, skin ceuticles, etc. While those are good products, I think this is what my skin has been actually craving. It is so completely different. It's a light almost mousse-like lovely texture that goes on so easily and penetrates immediately into my skin. It's like my skin is getting the healthy vitamins it finally needs and is saying thank you back to me by showing me some really good results. I'll update after a time to see if I'm still in love or if it's just a honeymoon stage. UPDATE: I went through my large trial size tube and while I loved it I just couldn't see shelling out $150 when I was at Sephora to buy it. So I opted for the same brand but their Vinexpert Night Infusion Cream. I didn't get the day cream because my tinted moisturizer is already a 45 SPF and this way I could use one tube for both day and night. So far it's working out great and it was half the price! I see no difference in the two this is just as good. This product line Has transformed my skin! I love it!

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Get Started Face Kit in Fairly Light/Light
cyberiantrader 10/21/2011 8:19:00 PM
I love this brand of cosmetics. I got this starter kit and moved right into additional products like eye shadows, pure radiance, and the summer bisque concealer. I love them all. My skin looks fresh and natural while still having plenty of coverage. I also love how great my skin is looking since using the BE products. I didn't realize what all those heavy foundations and pressed powders were doing to my pores before starting this brand. I just purchased the travel brush that holds the mineral foundation so I can keep it in my purse for touch ups. I love it too!

Treatments -Obagi - obagi skincare system
cyberiantrader 10/21/2011 4:38:00 PM
If you are on the fence of whether or not to try this product - DO IT! If you are in the beginning stages and cannot tolerate another day of ugliness and are thinking of quitting - DON'T QUIT NOW!! I am forty five and am I'm so mad that I had never heard of this product before. I've tried everything from lasers to fillers to $100 clinical monthly facials. I have spent a small fortune that I don't have and my entire adult lifetime in search of the "fountain of youth" and had fallen short every time, chasing the myth that I could have ever have good skin again - until now. I have only been using the Obagi Nu Derm products for 9 weeks and it has been a horrible process but well worth it. I cannot believe the difference in my skin already after just two months!! I now am in love with my skin!! This system has done wonders for both my face and neck and for my confidence. I don't scream anymore when I look in the mirror in natural daylight. I actually check out my skin now in the mirror constantly just to make sure it really looks as good as it does. If you have sun damaged skin, you will be so proud of yourself and so happy if you just buck up and let yourself go through this process. You will come out on the other side beautiful. Really read the reviews before using the Obagi Nu Derm so you'll be prepared. If you're lucky it won't be as bad as some (myself included) have experienced. I did a lot of research and chose the Nu Derm over Obagi's other systems (The C-system) because I am in my mid forties and my skin was dull, leathery, freckled, and ruddy with huge sagging pores. My under eyes were so crepy and thin and saggy. Old lady jowels were starting to make their debut on my jawline and neck. Heck, my whole face was sagging! I needed the agressive Nu Derm to correct my skin, the C-System wasn't going to be tough enough. And now my skin is tight and firm and SASSY!! I say read the reviews because you need to be fully aware of what you will go through. I call it the Ugly Duckling stage - Just remember she turns into the Beautiful Swan at the end. You have to keep telling yourself this. Re-read the reviews as you're going through the process, it really helped me, like having a support group. Plan on your face being bright red most of the time. You will peel and flake and possibly even scab up in spots. Horrible flaking will occur at the most inappropriate times. Psychologically, at first you go through this mourning phase wishing you looked like you used to. Your skin puckers and wrinkles and you look 10 years older. Don't fret, It's just getting ready to peel. You'll want to stop using the products at times. Reading the reviews at this point again really helps. I even went on You Tube so I could see the women who have used it and see how good they look now. When you just can't stand another day, you catch your first glimpse: New, beautiful baby skin underneath that's firm and even-toned, with tiny, tiny pores! You still look like hell, You're still peeling for weeks on end but suddenly you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. That's when you stop being upset and start looking at your skin like it's a science experiment. Gradually, the peeling subsides (it doesn't stop, but it eases up). Then you start to discover areas where you actually wish it would peel and you get upset because it's not! Then finally it does and you're actually happy that you look bad again because you know it will be amazing underneath. I am at that stage now. My under eyes are horrible right now and I am still a little ruddy on my cheeks. I look for eye creams that will help but nothing does. My under eye area has never looked this bad. But I know it when it's done, I will have soft, supple, thicker skin underneath. I'm about to peel there for the second time. After the first peel my dark circles are history! My dark age spot or whatever it was on my jaw line is gone! I used to wear heavy foundation and concealer, but for the first time in my life I've started using Bare MInerals because foundation is just too much coverage for my soft baby skin! I never thought that would happen but I read the same thing happened with other reviewers. I've been carded twice in the past month and I'm almost forty six! I just wish I had taken before and after pics. I use the following products in the Obagi Nu Derm program: #1) Obagi Foaming Gel Cleanser (But you can actually use Cetaphil, it's cheaper and does the same thing, I use that in the shower in the morning) #2) Toner. Love this stuff. It's calming and soothing. #3)Clear. I use both this day and night after cleansing and toning) #4) Exfoderm Forte. Use this after #2 Clear in the morning only. There is a milder version of this but I decided if I'm going to do this thing I'm going all the way and not use the sissy version. #5) Blender. Use this at night only. I mix equal parts of this with a Tretinoin Cream by Obagi called REFISSA. I ordered it after seeing a girl on You Tube had used it. It made all the difference in the world with my progress. I incorporated it in week 4 and am so glad I did. I will use this Refissa for the rest of my life with the #5 Blender for maintenance twice a week. It's a very emoilent night cream even though it's the devil in desguise. It will make you shed skin like a snake, but it feels rich and creamy going on and it really plumps up your lines. Dont be scared of the warnings about the Nu Derm products being harmful. Look on the web and you'll see the study that was done was with more than you will ever use here. It's backed up by several doctors that say there is no harm that will befall you. Finally, if you can buy the products online you'll save a fortune, but be really careful and read the sellers reviews. Some are knock-offs. I repurchased my second set online and love them and the price compared to the Dr.

Self Tanners -Clarins - Liquid Bronze
cyberiantrader 10/21/2011 3:39:00 PM
Hope I am in the right Clarins category, I am reviewing the Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanning for the Face and Decollete'. I love this product! I am so pale and even more-so now after using Obagi products that bleach and even-out my skin tone. Though I didn't think it was possible my face is even more pale than before! I love how easy this product is to apply and how goof-proof it is. It does not streak or clump anywhere so I don't have to be super-careful when applying it. It absorbs and dries quickly so I can continue on with my skin routine. I use it after I wash and apply my Obagi products and before I apply my sunscreen. Within hours it gradually gives me the light color I need without being too stark or fake. It's just a subtle "sun kissed" even color for my fair skin.

Treatments (Eye) -Boscia - Enlivening Amino-AG Eye Treatment
cyberiantrader 10/21/2011 3:25:00 PM
My friend gave me her Sephora sample of this because she said it irritated her eyes. I have been going through the Obagi Nu Derm treatments and my skin goes through these horrible flaky, peeling, red stages that are normal until one reaches the ideal skin that they had n their youth. I like this eye treatment because none of my other eye products are helping at all with my extremely wrinkly, dry, crepy, under eye area that has resulted from the rejuvenating process I've been suffering through. It goes on easily and penetrates quickly instead of just sitting on top of my leathery scaly eye area like my thick Shesido eye cream now does. I will update this review when my skin heals to see if I still like it. Maybe it will upgrade to 5 lippies then because nothing will completely help my eyes look good in their current state. Don't know yet if I will repurchase.

Self Tanners -Clarins - Radiance-Plus Self Tanning Body Lotion
cyberiantrader 10/21/2011 2:47:00 PM
I started using this self tanner yesterday. I just applied my second coat today and this time I used it just out of the shower. It wasn't streaky necessarily, it just feels like yesterday was a first coat on my extremely ghost-white skin and I need to build it up and fill in where the whiteness shines through. Yesterday after exfoliating I used a little lotion on my feet first because that works best with other tanners I've tried. Today I didn't bother putting on the lotion beforehand because I can see the areas where it blocked my skin from absorbing the self tanner. It's a very nice sun kissed color for my pale, red undertoned skin, but the best part and the reason I assume it's so expensive is the ease of application. With the cheaper products I've tried it was a waiting game and sheer torture for me to suffer through that sticky tacky stage that lasted too long. With this it just feels like I'm using a nice lotion. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin soft. It's a little stinky at first but soon the smell disappears. My whole bedroom smells like self tanner when I first put it on. But last night was the first time my husband didn't say he could smell that self tanner smell on me - he always says self tanners smell like Fritos and not in a good way. I've tried many brands from, fake bake, Sun, bare essentials, neutrogena, copper tone, loreal, etc. I like this the best so far. I will hit my legs up with a little bare essentials if I need to because it gives me a nice quick shot of bronze. UPDATE: Day 2 coat was perfect! I have a nice even glow now and love that I do not smell like self tanner. My husband commented when I walked in the door how great I looked. He didn't believe me when I told him I had a self tanner on because there was no "Fritos" smell. LOL He said I looked healthy and golden and smelled great too! Yay! This is a keeper!
