I went to an Aveda salon where the woman who cut my hair actually worked for Aveda at one point. I told her about the bad reviews here about this product, since I was surprised. She said the majority of the people who buy this are buying the wrong product. She said this shampoo + cond. (she called it a rinse) are for baby fine to normal hair that is frequently washed. Bascially for the person who washes and goes. It's not for dry hair, not for thick colored hair or course hair. I love this stuff personally. I have baby baby fine hair and a really sensitive scalp and this never irritates, plus I love the refreshing smell. I use a little pump full of cond. and put it through my ends before getting out of the shower - as a leave-in - doesn't weigh my hair down and actually gives my wavy hair some texture!

I use a little of the Damage Remedy afterwards ( the new leave-in) and I get massive hair and I air-dry! Plus, overall this makes my hair just feel and look thicker. If you love this but find it too drying, maybe try a thicker leave-in cream afterwards to help with moisture! Hope this helps :) Oh, I do agree with the reviewer below about the 1L sizes - total bargain!

Of course like an idiot I bought the huge bottles of the poo/cond. before using since it was the best smelling poo/cond. I found in the d/s. This stuff made my scalp go insane. It felt like I had an allergic reaction. Anyone who is interested, I have these up for swap, used only once.

On my 4th bottle of this... love it. No matter what I try, I keep coming back. I love it because it does not weigh down my hair, yet leaves it silky smooth, plus come on, you have to love the smell! It's awesome!

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Prell Rinse Clean Shampoo

Blech, no, this stuff is horrible. I don't see how some of the other reviewers could have scalp conditions and use this? This did nothing but dry my hair out and give me an itchy scalp and I never have scalp issues. I might as well used Ajax on my hair. Plus, for $4/bottle that's pretty expensive for a d/s shampoo.

Shampoo -Pantene - Color Preserve Shine

I love this and I usually hate Pantene. I noticed with their new formula's they aren't putting ammonium sulfates in their shampoo's, which is great. I use this b/c I absolutely love the smell, it does not bother my scalp and my hair does not get weighed down (baby baby fine hair here). I also use the matching conditioner which is excellent as well. -----> Blech, never mind. This ended up to be the usual Pantene crap after a few dozen uses.

Love... I can feel my hands tingle when I use this and I love the smell. I will keep buying until it's d/c which hopefully will never happen. I'm young but I can tell my hands are aging first :( hopefully with frequent use of this my hands will match my face (youth wise)

BLECH! This stuff is like using ajax on your scalp! I can't believe how harsh this stuff is. I broke out in little red bumps near my hairline on the back of my head and got dry patches on my scalp, after only 1 use!! This is going in the garbage.
