Scrubs -Neutrogena - Naturals Daily Facial Scrub

wanted to love it but it made me break out badly, I wonder that it was since this is a natural product. otherwise it is a good scrub to use daily, gently exfoliates and helps clean your skin.

Eye Makeup Remover -Unlisted Brand - Target Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

I had heard some comments and reviews about how good this was and decided to give it a try. It's around 4.50 so pretty much dirt cheap. it's biphasic like the neutrogena and the much more expensive Lancome Bifacil, you have to shake it to get the two phases emulsified and then apply with a cotton pad. for me this worked much better than the neutrogena, it removed my mascara in 2 swipes (maybelline full n soft waterproof) and it didn't sting my eyes like the neutrogena does. of course nothing beats bifacil, but i think this one is much closer to being as good as that one, than many other biphasic removers out there. also it didn't leave as much oiliness on my skin after removing my makeup (but i wash my face afterwards so no biggie).

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Natural Match haircolor [DISCONTINUED]

i chose 4c dark ash brown because i had read reviews about the lighter shades turning out orange-ish, and because i wanted to go back to my natural haircolor after going a shade lighter. color turner out SUPER dark, almost black and not ashy at all (i can see some glints of red and gold through my hair). i don't mind the darkness but i didn't want any goldish reflections, i wanted an ashy shade. the one good, (or rather, GREAT) side of this product is that its so gentle on the hair, it definitely left my hair feeling soft and really shiny. i wash it every other day with the everpure line from l'oreal also, and in 1 week it hasnt't faded at all (for good or bad).

Powder -L'Oreal - True Match Minerals
rated 3 of 5

First off, this is what "bare naturale" line is called outside of the US (and maybe canada, don't know for sure) I had been wanting to try mineral foundations for a while, and one day while grocery shopping i decided to give this little fella a try. the packaging is not very friendly, as other reviewers have stated: not a good product to be carrying around in your purse because there is a big risk of spilling it. i also think this is a bit on the pricy side, being a drugstore product. the coverage is medium but buildable to very heavy if not applied carefully and as directed (or if you want heavier coverage). now, color match was where I was most disappointed. I had previously tried the true match liquid foundation and found that every single color turned orange on me. with mineral foundations i had heard this did not happen, i went with a shade called honey something (N6) which surprisingly matched my skintone almost perfectly, but i was SO dissapointed to find that the more i buffed the powder on my skin, it started turning some weird taupe shade. I thought it may be because of some face moisturizer i had put on so i tried it on my arms and even on my stomach to see if the same thing happened and it did.... I don't know if this is also oxidation because it is not turning orange, it turns weird shades of dusky rose/taupe and makes my face look ridiculous. for obvious reasons i didn't get to wear it long enough to tell if it dries my skin or breaks me out. i definitely wouldn't buy this again, but i'm still willing to try other mineral foundations.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Fantastic Lash Waterproof / Very Black [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5

I actually really liked this mascara, i wasn't expecting to love it but i do. it does not volumize too much, but it does coat lash by lash and separates them so overall you get a fuller look without clumping the lashes -thet's why i love this macara's brush-. Also, if you add a 3rd coat just to the tips f the lashes it lengthens a bit. the color i got is vry black which i absolutely love. the only bad thing for me, is that it was hard to remove with my regular makeup remover and that it kind of dries my eyes so i guess this wouldn't be very safe to use for contact wearers. I will buy this again because so far this has worked great. and out of the many mascaras i've tried this one didn't flake or give me raccoon eyes after 8 hours of work.
