Skincare - Body -Burt's Bees - herbal insect repellent

I have used this product about six times and have had pretty good results with it until yesterday. I applied the product to my exposed body parts before going outside to play disc golf. About 30 minutes into the game, I looked down and saw 4 mosquitos attatched to my leg. Today, I am covered with mosquito bites. Granted, the mosquitos are absoultely horrible in Texas right now, but I hoped that this would've worked a little better. I love the fact that it's all natural and safe to use on pets. I wish I could recommend it, but it's not the most effective insect repellant on the market.
Shampoo -ARTec - Color Depositing Shampoo [DISCONTINUED]

Many reviewers of this product have complained that it does not lather well and it leaves hair heavy. The directions on the bottle say to WASH HAIR FIRST with another shampoo. This product does not contain cleansing agents, it is only meant to deposit color. With that said, these are the best color enhancing shampoos on the market. They contain much more pigment than any others. I have had my hair many different colors, and have used every shade from sunflower to coco bean. Don't expect drastic results, they are for subtle color enhancing or refreshing, but they definately do punch up haircolor. The lighter your haircolor is, the more dramatic the result will be. The effect is MUCH more dramatic if you use the conditioner as well. I have never found these to be too drying, but I usually follow with the conditioner. I can't stand for my hair to feel coated and heavy, and my hair never feels like that with this product. I highly recommend if you are looking to refresh your current hair color, or experiment with a new (subtle) one. You can even mix any of the colors to get the exact shade you want.
I love this eyeliner! It comes in a tiny compact, and you drag a liner brush through it and apply. It is soft, creamy, and applies very smoothly. In the past, I have found that cream liners never stay on for longer than an hour, but this one lasts and lasts. I sometimes have problems with liners irritating my eyes, but this one never does. Probably because it's 100% mineral. I have tried several brushes, and I found that the Jane Iredale Angled Liner brush works best for me. This formula also comes in gray, sappire, and brown, but I prefer the black color ebony for every day.
This is a very good brush for travel or purses. For me, pressed mineral bases apply bast with a large, flat top brush (like Glo's The Ultra) This brush is basically the same head with a short handle that is less than an inch long. It's pretty good quality too. In a pinch, it's also great for loose powder or blush. If you apply pressed base on the go, this is a must have for you!
Mmmmm! This is my favorite perfume ever. The smell is so unique. It almost reminds me of how a woman should naturally smell. My boyfriend goes crazy when I wear it. It is pretty expensive, and the bottle looks decieving- it holds less than you think. Fragrances smell different on everyone, but for me, this one smells AMAZING
I love this stuff! I always have to carry around lip balms because my lips get chapped very easily. This one is great! It does not have petroleum in it, which is great b/c that ingredient always ends up making me more chapped than how I started. It adds a nice shimmer and sheen. It's cheap and easy to find. You can't go wrong with this one
I really love this stuff. It smells amazing - I've never smelled a spray on leave in that smells so wonderful. It detangles, adds shine, and moisturizes without making hair feel heavy or coated. This line can be hard to find in some areas, but it is definately worth the search!!
I really liked how dramatic these pencils looked when I tried the testers on my hand. Too bad when I got one and put it on my eyes, it burned and stung like crazy. I could be allergic to one of the ingredients, but I've never been alergic to any other cosmetics before. I just washed it off, but my eyes are still burning. OUCH!
I really wanted to like this gloss because it comes in such beautiful colors. Unfortunately, I find it to be very drying. Yes, it tingles, but don't believe the claims that it actually plumps your lips. It's just causing irritation. I always end up with flaky, chapped lips about 20 minutes after I put this stuff on. It's also one of the tackiest, stickiest lip glosses I've ever seen. Some people might like that, but I hated the texture. It's too bad, because the colors are beautiful!
I believed the hype and tried this and the Phytocitrus masque. They left my hair feeling incredibly dry, tangly and dull. I know there are a lot of people that love this stuff, but my friend and I both tried it several times, and we both came to the same conclusion. This stuff sucks!!
Scrubs -Peter Thomas Roth - Botanical Buffing Beads

I'm all for gentle exfoliation, but once you apply this product to your face, the beads seem to immediately start to melt away. This makes it kind of hard to get any exfoliation out of it. Plus, it left such a nasty film on my face that I had to wash my face over again with my regular cleanser. This product has a cult following, and is written up in many editorials, but it just didn't do anything for me. Save your money and look elsewhere.
Liquid liners have been harder and harder to find these days, it seems. I guess that's not the "in" look right now. However, I love wearing liquid liner when I'm going out at night. This one glides right on very easily. Once it dries, it stays on through oil, sweat, and dancing all night, yet, it comes off easily with non-waterproof eye makeup remover. I really love this stuff, and the price is great. Gotta love Sally's! I have this in black and black/brown, and I really like them both.
For me, these "sheets" work much better than papers. I have very oily skin and usually have to blot at least a couple times of day in hot weather. I find that these take off more oil than most other brands I've tried, and they don't take off as much of your makeup. They really blow the paper varieties out of the water!n I don't understand the negative reviews, these work so well for me! I really recommend these.
This is the best foundation I have ever used! I buy this over and over again because it is so great! It feels so light and cool going on, almost like you are not even wearing anything. At first swipe, it has sheer to medium coverage, but you can build it up seamlessly layer by layer and get really great coverage that looks natural. I live in Texas, where the weather can be really hot and humid, but this stuff really stands up to the heat. It stays on pretty well throughout the day. The shade buff beige matches my skin exactly. I have very acne prone, sensitive skin, and this stuff never causes me to break out. Works so much better than most of the department store foundations I have tried. The best $8 I ever spent!
Blech. When I first opened this mascara, it was so dry and crumbly, you'd think it had been open for months! It is really not all that volumizing OR lengthening. I guess if you like the really natural look, you might like this, but even after applying 4 coats, I could hardly see anything. For a truly great Max Factor mascara, try the new Lash Perfection mascara with the IFX brush. Now that stuff is great!
