So here is the good and the bad about They're Real. THE GOOD: um... well it made my lashes look nice for maybe a week? THE BAD: At first it was too wet and stuck all my lashes together. Then it worked for about a week and looked great... until it dried out... It lasted about a month. And it was 30 bucks. So if you want to pay 30 bucks a month to have your eyelashes look nice for about a week.. this is the mascara for you :)

Primer/ Corrector -Quo - Total Perfection Face Primer

I don't understand the point of this product. I was hoping it would smooth out my skin, make my makeup application easier, and help my foundation to last longer. However, it just left this greasy layer on my face which did nothing except make my skin look shiny and gross. My makeup looked better without it!! It was a waste of money for me.

Wow, this product is amazing!!! It is by far the best primer I have ever used! It keeps my skin matte all day, makes my foundation last longer, and smooths out the surface of my skin!! The best part is, it is very affordable!!

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Etival Clarifying Oil-Free Care Cream

I love this product!!! My skin is combination and can sometimes get a bit oily, but it was also really dry after I used some mattifying foundations. No matter what type of moisturizer I used, my skin would still feel dry! I picked up the Etival clarifying moisturizer, and from the moment I put it on my skin felt amazing! I could feel it sinking into my skin and it had a nice, soothing sensation. It dries matte and is oil-free which is a plus :) it is also very light and the jar makes it easy to take just the right amount of product. I find that this moisturizer lasts until I wash it off the next day, which is great. I can't wait to try the toner and cleanser!

Foundations -Almay - TLC Truly Lasting Color

I was running low on foundation, and decided to pick this one up as it is long-lasting as well as oil-free. When I applied it the next day, I was disappointed with the coverage. It seems like it should have full coverage, since it is a thick and creamy texture, but it just fades to nothing when applied to your face! I had to dab it on with a brush and then use a ton of concealer to hide blemishes and redness. Once I saw the staying power, however, I was willing to live with the bad coverage. It stayed on all day, and my skin, which usually gets oily after a few hours, was completely matte, even after 12 hrs! I was amazed, although the more I wore it I realized that I didn't really like the powdery, false finish it gave. It also seemed to dry my skin out. After a week of wearing this, my skin broke out worse than ever. Usually I never have reactions to products, so I don't know what happened here, but my pores were completely clogged! I stopped using it and now my skin is fine. The only good thing about this foundation is the lasting power, and I won't be buying it again!

Fragrances -Vera Wang - Princess

This is my favourite fragrance ever! As a cosmetician, I smell all different kinds of perfumes, but there is nothing that can compare to Princess. It is soft, simple, and classy, yet it has a distinct presence about it. One thing I love about it is that it doesn't jump out and hit you, it just exists in a very calm, peaceful way. I wore it for some really important moments, and I know that I will wear it for many more to come :)

Primer/ Corrector -Rimmel - Fix and Perfect Foundation Primer

I wasn't too impressed with this primer. First of all, the colour really turned me off. It comes out bright orange, and is supposed to turn transparent when rubbed onto your skin. In certain light, I could still see that orangey tinge on my face... very unattractive. It also smelled really bad and just didn't seem to do anything. Definately not my top choice...

Liquid -Sally Hansen - Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Your Skin Foundation

I love this foundation. It has a lovely, creamy texture and doesn't feel too heavy on your face. It is blendable and covers very well! It also lasts a long time, and, when used on top of my Revlon Photoready primer, it stays matte for hours! I prefer wearing it in the winter since I find it a bit thick for humid summers, but all in all one of the best foundations I have ever used!
