Eye Shadow -Hard Candy - Kaleyedescope in High Maintenance

I had just purchased this after seeing the many reviews of the HC eyeshadows. I don't really care for the packaging, but it seems sturdy which is all I really care about. Upon first swipe with my finger I felt the eyeshadow was really hard, which I was worried about. BUT, it is so pigmented! I can't wait to try it with primer on my eyes! The downsides of this particular duo is that if you don't do shimmery, you will not like it (but I do, so I love it!) and I am NC 35 and the lighter shade can only be used for highlighting etc. because it is too light and shimmery for all over the lid. I will update with how it is when applied to my eyes.
I purchased these both in Sugar Coated and Sugar Kiss, and I was very impressed! At first Sugar Coated seem to wash me out a little with my light everyday makeup since the shade was so light, but I think with a more dramatic eye look this gloss would work better. So to me, Sugar Kiss is a little more pink toned which is perfect for everyday wear! I love the texture, because they last longer on my lips than some of my other favorite lipglosses (such as Revlon Super Lustrous). I do really like the smell of them too. One con, I wish they were in a different container as the tins are unsanitary if on the go and you only have your fingers to dip in them! Definitely will try some of the other colors out!
Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Hip Shine Struck Liquid Lip Color, all colors

I would not usually pick up a lipgloss (or liquid lipstick) for 12.99 at a drugstore, but my CVS had some of them for 75% off. I purchased the shade 'Precarious' for $3. I took off one lippie because did not like the texture, it was thin and oily feeling and after a couple of minutes of wear I felt like it was already all over my face. I wouldn't say it is as opaque as lipstick either, but alone with medium/olive skintones, it is a gorgeous wash of golds and coral! It look especially beautiful in a thin layer over Revlon C/B lipstick in Peach. The texture put me off a little but I will probably go back and try some other colors.
Moisturizers -St. Ives - Collagen-Elastin Essential Moisturizer

After reading all of these reviews, everytime I headed to the store I kept this in the back of my mind. After a couple of months, my local Walmart started carrying it again. I mostly wanted to use this for a nighttime moisturizer after I remove my makeup because I already have a day one that I love. Because my t-zone is oily and my cheeks are dry, at night I mainly focused on dry areas. After multiple uses my cheeks have only gotten drier! They started flaking, so I stopped using it. I'm guessing I'll just use the rest for my body. One plus is I usually don't like any kind of moisturizer with a strong scent, but I enjoyed the scent of this product.
After my favorite face moisturizer was discontinued, I was in the search for another. I found this to be very reasonably priced compared to some high end moisturizers. I have combination skin with an extremely oily t-zone and dry cheeks. I love that it has an SPF since I apply it every morning. The lotion sinks in quickly, and my cheeks moisturized! I have been using it for 6+ months now and my skins has had less breakouts and my t-zone has calmed down a bit. The scent isn't very noticeable either. Definitely found my HG moisturizer again!
I purchased this product mainly for a makeup remover at nighttime. I didn't want to use anything with harse ingredients and to remove my makeup at night. For me, it has been great! It is super cheap (I bought it at CVS for $4.99) and when I foam it up on my hands and apply to my face, without much work my makeup is gone (I wear eyeliner, but have yet to test it on heavy duty stuff). I don't really notice a scent but I enjoy how neutral it is because I apply a night cream and head to bed and use skincare cleansers early in the morning. My face does not feel tight after I use it either.
