Styling Products -TRESemme - Fresh Start Dry Shampoo for Oily/Straight to Normal Hair
rated 2 of 5

Enjoyed this dry shampoo for the first one or two uses. Faded nicely into my dark brown hair, didn't leave a grey tint. Absorbed extra oil fairly well and gave some nice volume. However, my container ran out of compressed air even though I could hear lots of product remaining inside when shaken. I had to throw out a practically full can because it's unusable without the compressed air. What a waste!

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter
rated 3 of 5
creamypie 1/16/2012 7:21:00 AM

PROS: Love the wide color selection. Not too often that you find lilac with drugstore lip colors. It was very easy to find colors to suit my skin tone and shade. Nice, classy packaging, which I find very common with Revlon products. CONS: Despite the name, these aren't terribly moisturizing. Much more like a lipstick than lip butter or lip balm. I still have to apply a lip balm as a base or else my lips turn dry and chapped. I had high hopes that these would be comparable to Korres Mango Butter lipsticks but evidently set the bar too high.

Moisturizers -Alba Botanica - Natural Acnedote Oil Control Lotion
rated 3 of 5
creamypie 1/8/2011 2:30:00 AM

I had high hopes for Alba's first acne-fighting moisturizer. On paper, it was everything I was looking for in a daily moisturizer: oil-free and fragrance-free formula, oil-controlling matte finish, and a strong salicylic acid treatment (2%). I think Alba missed the mark here. While it's a good, lightweight moisturizer for oily skin types, it does nothing for oil control, and the matte finish lasts only a short while. The smell is also a bit strange, somewhat herbal and menthol-like, but luckily it doesn't linger. I can't say whether it's helped my acne, but it didn't make it any worse. Tube packaging was fine, although I wish the opening was a tad smaller since a little bit goes a long way. Found it at Walmart for $10, which isn't outrageously expensive. Overall, not a bad product but not everything I'm looking for.

Fragrances -Giorgio Armani - Armani Mania pour femme
rated 5 of 5

This is a fabulous wintertime fragrance. It has a woody-musky smell that is warm and cozy. I receive compliments all the time when I wear Mania. It has great staying power, and I'm so glad that it works wonderfully with my body chemistry. I'll definetly repurchase when my bottle runs out.

Scrubs -Olay - Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit
rated 5 of 5
creamypie 8/21/2007 10:11:00 PM

I've been using this product for about four or five months. It was actually given to me to try by my boyfriend who has severe acne scaring. I use it every two days (Mondays and Thursdays) like the directions say and have already been through three kits. I like that the crystals are very fine and kind of dissolve when the serum is used. The slight warming sensation varies from time to time; sometimes I will feel the heat and other times there won't be any heat reaction. My skin feels super smooth afterwards, and I usually follow up with a moisturizer afterwards. I have combo skin, and I'm not sure if I would recommend this to people with sensitive skin as it can be a little drying. Overall I've had a very positive experience using this kit and will definetly buy it again.

Shampoo -TiGi - Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo
rated 2 of 5
creamypie 5/27/2007 2:37:00 AM

While the shampoo lathered very well, it had an unpleasant, thick consistency that reminded me of glue. The best part about this is the scent. Reminded me of pineapples and melons. Now for the downside - TONS of residue! My scalp has never felt so oily with build-up. I have normal to dry hair, so this was a surprise. Wouldn't repurchase or recommend.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Pomegranate Martini
rated 5 of 5
creamypie 6/25/2006 1:02:00 AM

I purchased the Pomegranate Martini body splash and body lotion. This is by far one of my favorite scents from B&BW. There's definetly a citrus hint, which I'm guessing is from the grapefruit and orange fragrances. It smells very fresh, sweet, and slightly tart.. I love it! The body lotion doesn't moisturizer particularly well but I really only bought this stuff because it smelled so wonderful.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Coconut Lime Verbena
rated 4 of 5
creamypie 10/20/2005 6:06:00 AM

I use the Antibacterial Foaming Hand Soap in Coconut Lime Verbena religiously. It's my all-time favorite scent. I've also tried the body wash and other products under the same scent label, but they just don't smell as nice as the foaming hand soap. Either that, or it doesn't smell the same at all. I wish it wasn't so because I really love the scent..

Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - moistureshine lipgloss
rated 5 of 5
creamypie 4/28/2005 2:46:00 PM

Went through two tubes of Sweet Nothing and Twinkle. A bit on the sticky side for me, but then again I don't wear gloss that much. Didn't dry out my lips and kept them very moisturized. I liked the doe-foot applicator. Made me feel like I had more control.

Masks -Neutrogena - Blackhead Eliminating Treatment Mask [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
creamypie 4/28/2005 2:42:00 PM

The cool and tingly feeling is so nice after a shower. My face was softer, but I couldn't tell if it did anything to my blackheads. I applied it for a bit longer than the recommended five minutes. Would buy again.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleanser Cream
rated 5 of 5
creamypie 4/18/2005 1:46:00 PM

This is my HG face cleaner. I've been using it for the past five years. I have never had a major breakout. The tingly feeling is very reassuring.. at least I know something's working. My face feels very refreshed and CLEAN afterwards.. It doens't dry-out skin or leave it oily. Perfect.

Shampoo -Neutrogena - Anti-Residue Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
creamypie 4/11/2005 4:15:00 AM

Being a lover of Neutrogena products, I wasn't afraid to try this shampoo. I'm so glad I did! The scent is very delicate, and so is the shampoo. Some suds ended up in my eyes, and because it was so mild my eyes didn't sting. The packaging is very user-friendly. I bought this with a $2-Off coupon from Target, so I spent just a little over $3 for a bottle. The price isn't bad since I only plan on using this once a week. If you calculate it out, this "tiny" bottle will last me for several months. Worth every single penny. This shampoo doesn't leave your hair stripped like most other clarifying shampoo. I'd definetly recommend this product to anyone else.

Conditioner -Redken - All Soft Conditioner
rated 2 of 5
creamypie 4/4/2005 4:36:00 AM

This is my third day of using Redken's All-Soft Shampoo/Conditioner. Bought it afte reading all the rave reviews here. Thus far, I haven't enjoyed this product and it doesnt look like it'll be getting any better. For one, I cannot understand how people can enjoy the smell. It's sugary, but that's not being said as a compliment. I guess it's an acquired smell. At least it fades as the day goes on. I switched to All-Soft from Matrix sleek.look shampoo/conditioner, and I actually PREFER sleek.look to All-Soft. My hair is actually fluffier and frizzier than before. Sure, it makes my hair soft, but it doesn't give any noticeable change. Nothing that really WOWed me. For the price I paid, I am definetly not buying Redken's All-Soft line again.

Shampoo -Matrix - Sleek.look Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
creamypie 2/21/2005 4:43:00 AM

I've been using drugstore shampoos my entire life, and this changed the way my hair felt on the very first try. It doens't smell too wonderful, but it fades. My hair was less frizzy and definetly softer, shinier, and smoother. I only wish I'd found this product (and the conditioner) sooner. No question that I'd buy it again. It really replenishes dry, weighed down hair.
