I thought I needed to write a positive review to balance on the negativeness in the prior reviews. I'm 45 with combination skin. I love this foundation. However, perhaps the reason it works for me is because I apply it over LeMetier deBeaute's anti-aging day cream so my skin is moisturized when it goes on. After I apply the foundation (with my fingers) I use a light coat of what ever powder I have with me. The foundation lasts all day on me and I do not get shine (probably because of my moisturizer which helps reduce shine). I have some light melasma areas on my lower cheeks but I can cover them up by rubbing on a little extra foundation. I personally like this foundation because although I have coverage, it also gives me more of a no make-up look. I can use either 4.5 or 5.5. I also bought the concealer. The concealer is ok but I would not repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Caviar Dreams Quad

I love the colors but hate the fallout. Wore this yesterday (I have contacts) and my eyes "hurt" all day - no amount of eye drops would help. This morning, as I was applying, some of the glittery bits landed in my eye and under my contact lens. Needless to say, this is going back and its such a shame because although I love the colors, I am not going to ruin my eyes!

I have used many high end eye creams (most recently Giorgio Armani's crema nera eye cream) and this is the best by far and I don't forsee switching to another brand when this runs out. Yes, its expensive but it depuffs my eyes instantly and makes me look more awake! Absorbs quickly - only a small amount is needed. I held out on this product for a long time because of the price, but IMO, its worth it.

I'm a recent convert to this line after getting a makeover by the line's MUA at Neimans. I've bought a number of lip glosses and this is one of my favorite - it can be worn alone or over any number of lipstick shades. This lip gloss is a treat to wear - it does not feel sticky and lasts a long time. Its worth the investment - many times better than MAC glosses!

I love this lipstick - its a very wearable red/berry color on me. Looks great layered under lip gloss as well. My favorite Viva Glam to date!

Expensive, but worth it. Colors are pigmented but not over the top, there is shimmer as opposed to "glitter". Perfect for work. Highly recommend.

Nice, light nude color on my pigmented lips. Would probably look better on me if I used a lip liner, but generally I can't be bothered with liners. Not my favor of the rouge d'armani colors, but I still like it. Big fan of this line. Especially happy that I got it at 20% off.

Eye Shadow -Giorgio Armani - Manta Ray #1

Interesting eye shadow, the colors in the pan are not as dark as they appear in the pan and can be combined to create a light smokey eye. In my opinion, this is the best of the manta ray eye shadows. However, I would not buy this again as I don't think this eye shadow is anything special (or I will ever hit the pan).

Bronzers -Edward Bess - Midnight Sun

As described below, this box includes a bronzer, highlighter and bronzer brush. The products are all great individually and I love the bronzer. However, I am not a fan of the huge wooden box these 3 products are included in - to me, its unnecessary. I purchased this during the BG $25 off $100 sale so I did not pay full price (I got $50 off but had to pay for shipping and tax). Overall, love the products, gave this a 4 because of the box. The highligher and brush are also great products but if you already have a bronzer brush, no need to buy this one!

Palettes -Edward Bess - Jet Set Collection

I purchased this set at BG during the $25 off sale in December. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. The eye shadow palette has nice wearable colors (nothing exciting but good neutrals), I LOVE the cream blush (the best part of the set) and the lip liner is decent. The eye shadow palette looks nice with daydream bronzer and any one of EBess's pink lip glosses can be worn over the cream blush which also doubles as a lip color. A nice set for travelling.

Cleansers -Avon - Clearskin® Immediate Response Cleanser

I love this product also. I used to use Clinque's acne cleansers (they worked) but this product works just as well and as the previous reviewer points out, this product is very cheap! Avon makes a companion astringent that works just as well as the clinque acne astringent and again, its must cheaper (less than $5 vs. $15+ for clinique).

I just got this lipstick in the mail yesterday. Like the prior reviewer, I tried it on and had the same reaction! Its a really bright, sort of orangey red that does nothing for me. Even though I got it during the 20% off sale, its going back. Its a shame because the other holiday lipstick (a bronzey color) is very nice.

I got suckered into buying this product because I was friendly with the Chantecaille sales associate (who has since retired) and I have to say I was very disappointed. It does not do much to reduce puffiness, and the worst part is as the prior reviewer noted, this product is not very thick and so it managed to get into my eyes causing serious irritation. In fact, it took me two months to figure out that this cream is why my eyes were burning (even when I only applied the product to my lower eye). I thought it was my contacts, contact lens solution, eye makeup etc. Through process of elimination I figure out this stuff was the culprit! I wish I had read all the reviews before buying - evidently burning eyes as a result of this cream is a common occurrence!

Lipstick -Giorgio Armani - Rouge d"Armani # Pink 501

I absolutely love love love this new formula. Its long lasting, semi-glossy and non-drying. Pink #501 is a medium shade of pink - not too exciting but it shows up nicely on my pigmented lips which is a plus. The lid of the lipstick is magnetized which is a unique feature. The colors in real life look much different than on the armani website or even in the tube - I recommend trying them on at the store or ordering from the website which allows returns. I think I have at least 8 of these lipsticks so far (stocked up when Saks had 10% off).

Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Paradise

This is the best drug store lipstick I have every purchased. Great color, moisturizing and relatively long lasting. Yes, it has a funky smell but its sweet so I'm ok with it. I went back to CVS and bought a few more of this brand, including a backup in this color. Its worth trying - only cost me $5.29.
