For the record, purple is my favorite color. I was hesitant about buying a light purple, as I've had bad luck with pastels both because they clash with my skin and because they have horrible formula, but this has quickly become my favorite polish. It's fairly cool-toned, which is good for me. I'm not sure that it's particularly unique, but I'm okay with that! It's a pretty, subdued purple, it applies well, and it looks great when layered under silver shatter. I think I may have to buy a backup before they discontinue this collection, because I love this polish.

This color is absolutely lovely; the gold flecks really bring the icy blue alive and make this a perfect wintry nail polish. I can't always pull off pale blues, but this one works well on me. The formula was nice - it applies easily, and holds up fairly well.

This is a lovely, not-quite-dark, not-quite-bright color of red that suits my pale yellow complexion perfectly. I don't really like bright, bright reds, but I was afraid this color would become too vampy on me. Glad to say it wasn't. It's my go-to red. Nice application as well!

Honestly, I liked this. I bought it to go over Gorgeous, by the same brand. I haven't tried using it on my own. It's not the best formula - it's kind of goopy - but that's not really a problem when layering it. I mean, c'mon. It's $2, pretty, and sparkly. I'm a sucker for sparkly things.

This color is really, really pretty! I hadn't expected such a nice formula for something this cheap; it's very easy to apply. There are visible brush strokes, but I don't really have a problem with that. It dries fairly quickly. I wore this under Nail Junkie, also by Sinful, and I really like this! It's so bright. My main gripe is that it smells fairly strongly, especially as I'm used to polishes like Zoya and OPI that don't smell quite so much. I'm very happy with it, though, and will continue to explore more of the Sinful Colors line! For the price, it's worth a few misses if there are winners like this.

Polishes -Essie - Turquoise & Caicos (Resort 2010)

This color is certainly lovely, but I couldn't love this polish. Firstly, the formula was pretty nasty - sticky and streaky and impossible to get on neatly. I could excuse the formula if I weren't paying $8 a bottle; for that price, I expect much better. This color also did not look good on my hands - I'm fairly yellow, and it sort of clashed. I exchanged it for Aruba Blue, and was much happier.
