I have very coarse, oily, wavy hair. I bought this thinking that it might help clear up my oily scalp with the strong chemicals in it. It DID clear it up my scalp, but it made my ends feel like straw, and I started losing TONS of hair, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing for me because I have so much hair, but when I could gently run my hand through my hair and get a handful of hair, it was scary. I didn't see any change in the straightness of my hair, either.
