Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios Fluide Extreme SPF 40

I really like the protection of this sunscreen but it makes my face look oily. I usually apply it in the morning, wait 30 mins and blot excess grease off. I read somewhere that physical sunscreens like titanium dioxide lay on top of the skin surface and are never absorbed. So, i'm I blotting away some protection? I mailed La Roche Posay France to get an answer. When i received their reply i was quite suprised. They said that when you remove the oily film from your face, you might be removing ALL or part of the protection!!! They also said that BOTH physical and chemical sunscreens stay on top of the skin! Conclusion: I won't blot again.
