WARNING, if you have dry or combination skin do not buy this product. It took me 4 weeks to figure out this was the new item in my skincare routine that was slowly sucking out every drop of moisture out of my face. After putting this on, your skin feels tighter and tighter throughout the day until your face feels itchy and oily at the same time because your face is trying to fight the serum. After 4 weeks of use, my face was so dry it started to hurt. I'm not sure that everyone will react the way that I have but I had NO IDEA there was alcohol in this. I would not have bought it otherwise. This was sold to me at a spa to help intensely moisturize my face in the winter, big mistake. I would NEVER ever buy this product ever again.

I hate the fact that it's so tiny and pricey, but completely indispensable to me. This is THE BEST makeup primer for the winter. It goes on like silk, doesn't feel greasy or leave a film, and it sinks deeply into your skin almost immediately. The result is that it plumps up your skin as if you just had the best night's sleep. It's pretty incredible and I cannot say enough good things about this tiny tube. I got this initially as a travel size tube which I took on vacation with me, I couldn't run fast enough to go buy the full size tube after I got home. I would recommend this to anyone with combination skin in need of a light and deeply nourishing cream.

This is magic in a very small tube and saved my life. I have struggled with my acne since I was a teenager. In my 20s I found Proactiv and it did a pretty good job controlling my acne for about 10 years. When I turned 30, my skin changed and I started breaking out pretty heavily for the last few years. 6 months ago, I started breaking out quite seriously with large cystic bumps all over my face (chin, cheek, above the lip, between my eyes and forehead). When my doctor prescribed this gel, I was highly skeptical, but since my insurance covers the entire cost of the prescription I picked it up. Within 2-3 days of using clindoxyl, all of the acne on my face was noticeably improved and within 4 weeks my entire face was clear. Over the next 2 to 3 months all of the scarring was improved or disappeared and I haven't had a single break out for 5 months. THIS WORKS!! Trust me, a little gel goes a long way. Not only do I no longer need the heavy foundation, but I was recently able to walk out the door with only pressed powder on my face (have not been able to do that since my 20s).

This masque is one of the best things I've ever put on my face. It purifies, detoxifies, gently exfoliates and nourishes my skin. I use this masque 2-3 times a week and every time I use it my face feels better afterwards. Not only does my face look clearer and fresher, but my skin feels relaxed and detoxed. To increase its effectiveness, I use this in combination with Neostrata's Resurfacing Duo (scrub before masking). You will feel like you just had a professional facial afterwards.

Cleansers -Biotherm - softening exfoliating cleansing gel

This is one of the best cleansers I have used in a long time. It gently exfoliates my face daily, and my face feels smooth as a baby's bottom after each wash, and it's also a really great cleanser. I use it to wash off my makeup and everything comes off my face and my skin feels refreshed, clean and exfoliated after one wash. I'm generally not a fan of two-in-one products, but this one is a goody. My only complaint is the strong fragrance in the product which may be irritating to people with sensitive skin.

This is super strength vaseline on steroids. I use it on skin that is chapped, dry or peeling and it will help heal the skin, restore moisture and make it easier for you to peel off the dead skin after. I find it especially helpful in the winter on my lips, elbows and back of my ankles. A little goes a long way, so one tube will last almost a year before you have to buy another. You can even put it around your eyes without it irritating your skin. I think it's important to have one of these in your medicine cabinet, it can be used for a huge variety of things.

Conditioner -Aveda - Madder Root Conditioner

This is seriously good stuff. I have very dry hair and often need the most intense conditioning product of any haircare line, and this does the job for me. I've been using this for about 6-7 years now in conjunction with the madder root shampoo and the two together are quite amazing. The madder root naturally tints my hair giving it a nice depth of color. My hair is actually not red, it's black and obviously this does not turn me into a red head, but it gives it a nice depth of color in the sunlight that I really like. I've tried the clove and black malva but ironically the madder root works the best!

Shampoo -Aveda - Madder Root Shampoo

I've been using this for about 6/7 years now. I don't have color treated hair and have been using the madder root shampoo and conditioner as a substitute for hair coloring. This definitely leaves a pigment--it stains your shower and your towels--but I don't have to use chemicals to add a subtle tint of color to my hair, which leaves my hair both healthy and naturally streaked all year round. By using this every day, you are naturally tinting your hair color a little every day without drying it out with peroxide or other hair coloring chemicals.

I found this cream a bit chunky (you have to try a sample to understand), it felt like there were bits of things in it when you apply it on your face. I don't have sensitive skin at all, my skin can put up with high levels of AHA and benzyl peroxide, but the tourmaline really irritated my face and my eyes stung/teared even though I didn't put any of the cream near my eyes.

Eye Makeup Remover -Biotherm - Biocils Eye Makeup Remover Gel

This eye makeup remover has a weird consistency to it, a little bit cold and slimy. I have to squeeze out a little, spread it out on a cotton pad with my fingers before I can apply it on my eyes. I'm used to a water/oil based eye makeup remover and I find this remover a little drying afterwards. The skin around your eyes does feel really clean and fresh after the eye make up is removed and it does a good job removing your makeup, but this isn't for me.

Fortunately for me the color is perfect, since this only comes in one color it could be a problem for others. I always have one of these lying around somewhere. I buy 3 of them at at time - one for my purse/gym bag, one for my office and another in my bathroom. It's such a great quick fix when you have a little red mark or start to break out or need a little spot covered. The coverage is very good (thick and layerable) for covering imperfections and you have the comfort of knowing that you're not putting make up on a blemish to further inflame it. Great idea if the color works for you.

Lip Gloss -Smashbox - O-GLOSS

This one is such a no brainer, everyone should have this in their purse/pocket/desk at work etc. This works on everyone! It looks as benign as a simple chap stick from the drug store and goes on clear, but turns into the most perfect, natural looking shade of pink lip gloss. And on top of this, it's very nourishing and soothing on dry lips.

I agree with the other reviewers, this cream does not smell nice. I have to top it off with my biotherm aquasource moisturizing gel to cover up the odour. However I think that we can all agree that we would put up with a little unpleasant smell for a cream that will: a) remove 10 years of dead skin cells off your face within a week; b) smooth out all bumps and problem areas from your face; c) clear off old acne scars and hyperpigmentation; and d) leave your pores tighter and smaller. I've been using the resurfacing duo and this cream together for only 6 days and the results have been life changing. I can't stop touching my skin, it's never ever ever looked and felt this good. I don't think my skin was this great even when I was 20. I would highly recommend that anyone suffering for chronic breakouts or problem skin try this.

Highlighters -Guerlain - Les Meteorites balls powder

This product is sooo overpriced and overrated. The meteorite balls are so annoying and keep falling out of the container and on the floor everytime I rub my powder brush on them. There are also too few color choices--I tried both the darker one and the brighter coral combination--and I felt like I was always in between colors. It's also pretty pricey, and in general I found the powder to be fairly mediocre. Not impressed.

Concealers -Smashbox - Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer

I did not like this product as a daily concealer. It was very dry and difficult to apply. Sort of pulled the skin under my eyes when I applied it directly from the applicator. The only way I could use it was to rub a little between my fingers to soften the concealer before applying. I did not buy it again after I finished the tube, however I did find a good use for it -- great concealer to wear at the gym. It's completely sweat resistent!
