Fragrances -Coty - Halle by Halle Berry

If you want to turn heads with your perfume, buy this. I'm serious. Who cares if you don't absolutely love it? The men go crazy for it every time. Spicy, sweet, warm, musky, and *strong,* this perfume will make you wonder if you're wearing too much even with one spray, but that's the only negative I can see (it's strong as all get out; it will linger on your clothes and sheets for days!). I personally love the bergamot, sandalwood, and amber; together, they create something that really is quite sexy. This perfume makes me feel instantly seductive, and I do not think of myself that way very often! I have never worn this out without someone mentioning how great it smells. I can't even go to the gas station in sweats with a scrunchie in while wearing this perfume without having at least one man comment on how I smell. And, while I do enjoy the scent myself, the fact that it gets men drooling all over themselves is what makes it a true 5 out of 5 for me!

Polishes -Revlon - Make Mine Mango
coloryouclingto 3/29/2013 1:51:00 PM
Revlon's Make Mine Mango is AMAZING. The formula goes on beautifully and easily, and it is not streaky at all. Use care in application, and you can have a beautiful pale coral in one coat. That's right, ONE coat -- no streaks. Add another coat or two, and you've got a lovely opaque coral. The lasting power is better than most of my drug store polishes (and it's way better than Sally Hansen). When I use SV top coat with it, I get 4-5 days of wear without chipping (all that happens is you get some visible wear on the ends, but no real chips). The brush is also one of my favorites. It is the PERFECT size and length! WILL BUY AGAIN!

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach
coloryouclingto 2/26/2013 8:40:00 PM
I really wanted to love this product, but it just didn't live up to my expectations (which aren't that hard to meet). I am quite pale (think Christina Ricci), and my lips are not very pigmented; however, this "peach" color turned up as pink on me, and I think it's because my lip color was more obvious underneath than it should have been. I realize it is a sheer product, but to not even get a peach color when your lips are pale? That's ridiculous. Also, it was VERY drying. If I buy something like this, I'm expecting it to do double-time as a balm as well. What a waste of money.

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Liner - Turquoise
coloryouclingto 9/29/2012 11:47:00 PM
Great product -- for the price, you can't beat it. The brush is very small, but this makes it easy to apply a nice, clean, thin line. Also, the color is so vibrant that I can't imagine I'd want to apply it any thicker anyway. If you do mess up, it's not waterproof, so it's very easy to correct any mistakes with a q-tip or even just your finger, just wipe before it's dried and it comes right off. As others have said, the color is more green than turquoise, and it does have a little sparkle to it. It's a really bright green and it looks nice paired with neutrals, but I find it really looks great with a cranberry-colored lid (I use Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk with some neutrals from the NARS 2 pallate). Finally, It does not flake or peel, and it lasts all day for me. Again, AWESOME for the price!

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover
coloryouclingto 8/25/2012 11:11:00 PM
BEST Make-up Remover imho. It will remove everything completely, including glitter and really tough eyeliner/mascara. It doesn't hurt your eyes -- not even a little bit. It does leave a little oily residue, but I just run a square of toilet paper over the oily skin and it's fine. You don't have to scrub at all to get anything off, except maybe for a very intense eyeliner (like the 24 hour stuff), and even then, you don't push hard or rub, you just have to swipe over it 3 times instead of once.

Eye Makeup Remover -Equate - Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
coloryouclingto 8/25/2012 11:07:00 PM
Burns the eyes, doesn't work very well. you really have to scrub, especially for any glittery eye makeup or to remove any mascara you've put on. I feel like it never really got all of my make up off, and it was NOT nice to the eye area, and I'm not sensitive in any sense of the word. Pay the few extra dollars for the Neutrogena, which works PERFECTLY and doesn't hurt your eyes.

Deodorants -Secret - Clinical Strength
coloryouclingto 9/4/2009 2:07:00 PM
This product is GREAT at keeping you from sweating, but there are so many problems with it that I would NOT buy it again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. It stays wet forever, seriously. It doesn't dry; all day it seems wet still. Also, there is barely any product in there in the first place AND on top of that when it's all the way up to the top and you can't get any more out there is still A LOT left in the stick and there is no way to get it out short of taking a hammer to the thing and ripping it open. What a waste!!

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup
coloryouclingto 8/18/2009 4:17:00 PM
This stuff is awesome! My HG foundation, for sure. It lasts all day and yet it never looks cakey or obvious. It is easy to apply and looks flawless done either with your fingers or with a stippling brush. It lasts a long time before you have to buy a new one so the price is great too. The palest shade (ivory) is a great match for my pale skin with rose undertones and even counteracts that redness that I'm prone too. It does a fabulous job covering up mild hormonal acne as well. It never rubs off on clothing either. I honestly can't think of anything bad at all about this foundation. A++

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

Great Mascara. Deep black, doesn't add too much volume, doesn't clump, lasts all day, doesn't flake off. Good for everyday.

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Pressed Powder in Translucent
coloryouclingto 6/2/2009 6:41:00 PM
This is my HG powder -- It blends in so well and so quickly that I can forgive the poor packaging (the mirror falls out, the palate falls out and the brush is awful). I'm very pale with pink undertones and the "translucent" shade is perfect. It has patches of white and a very light peachy tan (leaning towards orange, but very slightly) and it blends in effortlessly either on top of foundation (Revlon Colorstay) or over a blank face. The only problem it has is that it sinks into and emphasizes large pores, so if you have large pores, I wouldn't recommend this for you.

Concealers -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Spot Concealer
coloryouclingto 6/2/2009 6:25:00 PM
This is a good concealer if you have somewhat oily skin -- it will NOT budge. It is pretty orange-y, and that doesn't really work with my pink undertones, but I always follow up with my hg foundation and powder, so the orange tinge isn't that noticeable. I keep buying this because of the good consistency and staying power, but if I could find something that wasn't so orange tinted I'd switch.

Polishes -OPI - Koala Bear-y
coloryouclingto 3/11/2009 5:08:00 PM
This polish is a dark yet bright pink, It reminds me of the color strawberry, as opposed to the actual color of the fruit. The polish has excellent staying power and is very chip resistant ime. Even though it is a pink, it isn't super girlie or childish at all. It is flattering to my NW20 skin tone, but I can imagine it flattering warm toned women as well. OPI's brushes are a little wide for my taste, but that's my only complaint about this product.

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types
coloryouclingto 3/9/2009 11:56:00 PM
This is AWFUL. Smells terrible, doesn't absorb into your skin, and when I carelessly wiped my hands on my towel after applying it it turned the towel BRIGHT yellow. I am absolutely positive this is what did it, and the color would not come out in the wash. What a waste of money.

Mascara -Neutrogena - Lash Tint [DISCONTINUED]
coloryouclingto 2/7/2009 11:49:00 PM
This is a great mascara for people who have trouble with other mascaras irritating their eyes or giving them an allergic reaction. It really defines lower lashes in a natural way if you have dark lashes already (other than that it won't do much for you if you have dark lashes, as it is only a tint -- it adds no volume or length). If you have light lashes this stuff looks as if you have dyed them to a soft black and lasts about 8 hours. It has absolutely no clumps and goes on very easily, one coat is all that's needed. Huge thumbs up.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin
coloryouclingto 2/7/2009 11:02:00 PM
I use #110 "Ivory" in the oily/combo formula and it is a perfect match for my NW10/15 skin. It has very good coverage, and yet looks very natural, doesn't rub off on your clothing, keeps your face looking smooth and matte all day long. Also, I tend to break out, but this stuff hasn't caused me any problems at all after using it for a month. It is best to moisturize before using this because it makes it easier to blend and ensures you won't have any dry patches. Even so, you need to blend this pretty quickly. This is seriously my new HG foundation. I highly recommend it.
