Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash

I really like this cleanser. It cleared up the colony of acne I had on my chin, which kept reappearing with any other cleanser I tried. I would not recommend this for people with normal to dry skin, it's 2% salicylic acid so you do the math. It's perfect for people with oily skin such as myself, and a light moisturizer gets rid of the dry, tight feeling it leaves after you wash it off.

After hearing all the hype I was super excited to purchase this. It applies easily, you get a good amount of product and the packaging is great. The reason why I didn't like it is because it's not that black. And it fades terribly throughout the day, to the point that it looks gray, or like I smudged it out myself. I only kept it because it stays on my waterline without smudging. However, I would not recommend this or repurchase it. Ever. Not with the $15 price tag.

This is probably my favorite nail polish. I always get plenty of compliments when I wear it. It compliments my skin very well (I have dark skin btw) and it very easy to apply. I don't have anything negative to say about it.

Pros: Great color selection, opaque in one or two coats Cons: After a while, the polish gets so goopy it is impossible to wear. I couldn't even thin it out. Since I like to collect a lot of nail polish, I need polish that will last on the shelf. I understand that the oil separates from the formula, but this isn't your simple shake and it's good kind of fix. It is absolutely unusuable, and I hate to throw away half a bottle of polish. Such a waste.

It is an ok color, definitely not the pink I was expecting. It is very streaky, and takes about 3-4 coats to get the color pay off. It takes a long time to dry, even when you think it's dry, if you scratch your head or something it will smudge. I swear it took two days for this to completely dry. However, it does give your nails a nice classic finish, and with a pink glitter accent nail it looks really good. I will not buy this again.

Treatments -Essie - grow stronger

Yes! This stuff is amazing. I have the worst nails possible, they are bendy and they peel. Even if I managed to grow them out, it looked awful. When I started using this product, I immediately noticed a difference as soon as it dried. It instantly hardens your nails, and even when removed you nails are noticeabley stronger. If you have trouble growing your nails you should consider this. Highly recommened. I will always repurchase this; my favorite base coat.

My favorite white polish. It is completely opaque in two coats, and does not appear streaky. It makes my nails look very clean, and classic.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I was quite disappointed after hearing all the hype about this product. It does not give me any length, or volume. All it did was separate my lashes, and that was it. It has too dry of a formula for my taste, and also flaked throughout the day, which was really annoying. If you have naturally straight, long lashes, then this would look great on you as a natural everyday look. If you have short lashes, or curly ones, it will do nothing for you, because the wand is too big.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

This is a great cleanser for in the morning. It does make my skin feel clean after I wake up with oily skin. If you're looking for something to clear up your skin, this is not for you. It only cleans your skin, but does not treat blemishes, which I prefer in a daily cleanser. But if you're looking for something simple, this is perfect, and comes at a good price.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation

I'm not sure whether to give this a 3 or a 4. I do like how it evens out my complexion, and has an easy to wear, light weight feel. However after a few hours it is oily, it comes off with even the slightest touch, and it definitely needs to be blotted and remattified with powder throughout the day. If it didn't need so much maintenance I would really like it, because I like the light, fresh coverage it gives.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

If I'm going to wear eyeshadow this product is a must have. Without it, my eyelids crease way too much.. This keeps my shadow on all day, even if I accidently rub my eyes, it does not come off. You definitely need make up remover to take it off, water simply will not do it. I would recommend this to anyone. Love it!

This is a beautiful metallic green/blue (depending on the light angle). I get plenty of compliments when I wear it, and I feel it would compliment any skin tone.It lasts a long time, and does not chip for about 5-7 days, even without a top coat. My only complaint is that in the bottle there are hues of purple which do not show up when applied on the nail. Overall, I enjoy this color.

Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Red Velvet

This is a really nice color. My only problem is when I bought this, I expected it to be a light wash of red, like the other shades in the lip butter line, they are sheer. This however is quite pigmented, and being on a dark skin tone, I cannot wear this everyday as I intended. I recommend this if you are looking for a color to wear to a night event.

I really wanted to like this product, because it's cute in appearance and smells pretty good. However, I don't, because it's not moisturizing enough and has a waxy texture. Also, after using it for a couple months, it made my lips itchy and turn black. Needless to say, I will not try it again.

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto

I love this mascara. It is my favorite at the moment. It gives me amazing length, but not much volume. Most of the time I wear it with a volumnizing mascara over it, and looks very pretty. I get plenty of compliments on how long my lashes look with this on, and I have medium length naturally curly lashes, which don't look long on their own. This is definitely worth a try for people with short stubborn lashes. Highly recommended.
