OMG this serum is amazing. I needed a new serum and was on the fence about dropping 80$ on Ren's O12 serum. I wanted somethings equallyr organic, but I didn't want something too oily (and I didn't want to spend so much $$!). So instead, I wandered over to a local natural health supply store and found this serum. And this is why I love it: 1. it has almost the same ingredients as Ren, but with even more antioxidant ingredients. 2. It is fast absorbing- my skin doesn't feel sticky or greasy. 3. It wears very well under moisturizer and makeup. 4. It is 25$ (only 18$ on Amazon), 5. It is paraban/chemical/fragrance free 6. I am supporting a small local business when I buy it. I am just starting using it, so I need a few more weeks to see how effective it is. But so far, I'm loving it!!
So this is my favorite of all BB creams, but that isn't saying much. I like it for it's color match (fair) and hydration. It's like a supercharged TM. Thank being said, I won't buy it again and really dislike BBs in general. I see no discernable difference between them and makeup. I use mine only as a base if I want to amp up coverage of my foundation, but beyond that I skip the BB.
Primer/ Corrector -Hourglass - No. 28 Primer Serum

This is an absolute MUST for anyone with dry skin. It is also versatile, as it can be used for hair serum, nail cuticles, etc. A little goes a loooong way. It can also be used to replace any other skin care because of the ingredients. In the summer, I use it as my moisturizer AND primer.

I love all UD liners. They wear so well. I wish that they were a little easier to take off!
Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
coffeedrinker 2/7/2013 11:20:00 PM
I LOVE THIS!! Best Primer ever! It keeps shadow on, isn't heavy, doesn't cake, doesn't alter the shade of the shadow, even great to use under the lower lashline for extra insurance for liner and shadow.
Tinted Moisturizer -Smashbox - Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15
coffeedrinker 2/7/2013 10:30:00 PM
There are other, better tinted moisturizers. I hate how smashbox has too much orange in their skin shades. Even the lightest shade made me look like an oompah loompah. I like the consistency and the color doesn't sheer out as quickly as others, but I'm not impressed.
BEST BROW KIT EVER! I love the blonde. Perfect shade for defining without giving overly dramatic brows. The setting wax is key.
Primer/ Corrector -Too Faced - Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer
coffeedrinker 2/7/2013 10:24:00 PM
I like this primer. the only thing that concerns me is that it is labeled to have retinol but has no built in sunscreen. I'm not thrilled with using a product with retinol without a sunscreen.
I don't mind this product, but it is an awful lot of money for a spot treatment. I have found just as much luck using homeopathic remedy of ground asprin and tea tree oil. I wouldn't return it if were gifter, but I don't think I would spend money on it again.
WORST BLUSH EVER! The sparkles are awful. Why does NARS insist on putting glitter in their blushes?!
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15
coffeedrinker 2/7/2013 10:00:00 PM
Pros: Goes on smoothly; gives good protection to chapped lips Cons: packaging is cheap and awful- twist up broke after a week's use, it melted in the metal container and broke down; doesn't wear long and not thick enough for inclement weather; the price point is downright unreasonable.
Moisturizers -Peter Thomas Roth - Glycolic Acid 10% Moisturizer
coffeedrinker 2/7/2013 9:46:00 PM
This is the BEST glycolic moisturizer. Not drying at all. I wear it at night and when I wake up, my skin is smooth and glowing. After one month, my combination/dry skin was supple and smooth. Blackhead have reduced drastically and my pores are smaller in notice. I use it only at night, because as an active glycolic, I worry about sun damage. Also it causes my makeup to move.
Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude Skin-Glowing Makeup SPF 15
coffeedrinker 2/7/2013 9:42:00 PM
I LOVE this product! However, I am only giving four stars because of their limited color ranges and the glass bottle (it scares me to use in the bathroom for fear of breaking on tile). Coverage is FLAWLESS. I will never go back to another foundation.
Tinted Moisturizer -Hourglass - Illusion Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 15
coffeedrinker 1/26/2013 8:43:00 PM
This is expensive for TMs go, but the quality is totally worth it. The color doesn't sheer out or fade away within an hour like other TMs. It gives light coverage, almost like a foundation, without the heavy cakey look. Gives bautiful dewy complexion. I know the controversies with SPF, but I use a moisturizer and primer underneath, both of which are also SPF, so I don't depend on the TM for that.
Pro: color is gorgeous and flattering on most skin tones; cream blush is easy to apply; amount in compact literally lasts forever Cons: price is expensive; not very long wearing, even with a primer (need a couple touch up during day); NOT AT ALL appropriate for lips as the formula is 1. waaaay too drying 2. the absolute worse color to put on lips.
