Powder -La Prairie - Cellular Treatment Foundation Powder
cindyhan1314 1/22/2010 6:44:00 PM
Yes, i like this powder finish foundation a lot. Acutally, it's the first compact foundation i came across to almost finish it. Tha package is elegant and the effect is stunning. On my oily skin, it looks natural, matt and stays for all day. The longer i wear it, the more it looks like my own skin. No kidding, unlike other compact (Dior & Chanel), the oil control power is pretty amazing. But spreaking of coverage, i will say it's OK, not the best. As for price, i bought it $75, not bad, i can afford one every 6 months or so. Compares to Cle de Peau which sold @ 118, this is definitely more affordable. I even like this more than the $170 caviar foundation. But as i am easy to get bored, think next time i will give Cle de Peau a try. We will see... ...

Moisturizers -Clarins - Bright Plus HP Protective Brightening Day Lotion Oil Free SPF 20
cindyhan1314 9/23/2009 4:50:00 PM
I love this product, absolutely! Found it in TJMax with a sample of night cream & serum. Love them all. I've been using for abt 3 weeks now, love it everytime i look at myself in mirror. I'm an asian with oily skin, and some redness sometimes. This lotion does everything it promised. I noticed differences after a week, skin tone got even and skin never gets oily again, but soft and velvet. I've tried lots of cream / lotion on the market, all make me hate my skin so bad as it easily gets excessive oil in afternoon and so looks dirty. I need to use at least two blotting paper to get my face clean up. However, that's not the case ever after i start to use Clarins Bright Plus HP. It keeps my skin matt for all day (ok, maybe still a little bit oily at forehead but that's it) and really brightens my skin tone (not whitening). If you have oily skin, u really need to give it a try. Not sure what's the price in department store, maybe around $40. Still not bad tho. U can ask BA for a sample first. But trust me, if oily and uneven skin bothers you, this is the right lotion for sure.

Hair -Sunsilk - ThermaShine Detangling Shine Spray
cindyhan1314 10/27/2008 12:01:00 PM
Why review this product? Because i bought one last night and put it on after shower. I can only say Amazing~~~~ I have perm my hair twice in one year and so you can image how it looks like now. Frizz, dry and hard to manage. Especially, i use flattener almost everyday. It just make my hair looks frizz and thus dull and leave it no shine. Anyway, i put this on last night after shower and flatten my hair as usual. I can tell the difference instantly. It's that good! I like the smell as well, tho maybe someone would think its cheap and artificial. I bought it with a shampoo, they came as a package together for about $4.5 in Target. Its amazing results brought me here to see how others thought about it. Not disappointed. Good product and worth to try! ++++++++++++++ update: after few more tries, it does not work at all. Don't see shine added to my hair. Will not re-purchase. Disappointd````

Blush -Christian Dior - DiorBlush - 821 Pinky Beige (Beige Rosé)
cindyhan1314 6/2/2008 10:47:00 AM
I've been considering this blush for quite a long time. First tried it on my friend, color "a touch of blush", looks pretty and naturl. But i really wanted one with more orange tone, so i got it in "pinky beige" 2 days ago. Yes, the name sounds odd, it's not really pinky, but rosey. (that's how would i describe it) The color is beautiful and like others said, hard to overdo with it. The texture is smooth, does not like other power blushes make it so obviously to tell u'r wearing something on ur cheek. I am never a fan for Nars, no way to compare with it. But i do have one from Chanel Irreelle silky line in pink color. Dior is way better. No in color, but in texture and finish result. Chanel silky cheek color is so hard to apply, actually, i have difficult to catch the color by using my professional brush. So, i need to apply couple of layers which easily makes it too much. The brush comes with the compact is useful and convinent. You do not need to carry another brush in ur pocket. It's easy to apply and not heavy pigment. Very nice blush, but a little pricy for $38. Will consider to get other colors if it's possible.

Powder -Christian Dior - Diorskin Forever Compact

I feel like i have to say something about this product. I am very happy with it!!! Just got it for about one week and want to put it on everyday. I am an asian and got color 021(linen). Guess this is the right color for most of asians and BA told me this's also the most polular one. It turns out that it fits my skin tone very well. I am suprised to see so many negative reviews for this product!!! Are you guys sure u give ur reviews for the right product?? I have tried Chanel Douleperfect compact and couple of others. I do not really think there are too many differences among them, since they all look cakey after few hrs and emphysis your dryness. But this product is so different. It does not let u feel cakey and dryness. Actually, it looks very natural on ur skin as long as u pick the right color for you. The coverage is soso...., but it can even ur skin tone without any trace to tell you'r wearing makeup. The only problem so far is i have combination skin and need to blott every few hrs. Will keep it updated! UPDATE: I am not in live with Dior anymore, found my HG compact-----La Prairie celluar power finish!! Way better than Dior. I have to downgrade Dior to 3 star.

Liquid -Biotherm - Sense Matte Foundation SPF 15
cindyhan1314 5/18/2007 4:58:00 PM
I Love this foundation! It's the best i ever use. It's my secret weapon when i need to cover myself~~ I have oily skin, acne, but this foudation does everythin i need. The longer i wear it, the more natural it looks like. It controls oil very well, after 4 hrs applying it on my face, i need to put on some power ( this is the best record). Lots of foudations are oil free, but not oil control. Usually, after 1 hr, they will turn out shinely. Currently, i am using 120, and i have 130 too. 130 is a little bit too darker for my skin, but i think it would be perfect in summar. I have Bare Mineral foundation 2.0 (fairly), which is too yellowish to me. Again, i love it. The price is not bad at all. I got my first bottle for only $5 in Lancome Outlet Store.

Moisturizers -Olay - Definity Deep Penetrating Foaming Moisturizer
cindyhan1314 5/14/2007 10:56:00 AM
I love this product! After using this for 1 month, all my friend noticed the changes on my face. They all think my face is glowing without any makeup on ( even with couple of acnes). I really like it, and want to try Definity Luminesse which only market to Asia. This is my first try for drugstore skin cares and it does work for me. The price is OK, a little expensive but worth to try. After all, comparing to department skin cares, $28 is not a big deal. Last time i went to Neimanmarcus, two sales said my skin looks beautiful and they all want to know which brand i used everyday... +++++++++++++++ update: Don't like it anymore, too much silicon and not moisture at all. Prefer Olay Regenerist line more, or Total Effects.
