Loose Powders -Coty - Airspun Fragrance Free Luminous Translucent Loose Powder

i wish i'd read these reviews before taking out the little plastic piece inside the container-- now i'm faced with a gaping pot of powder that's sure to get everywhere. it looks lovely on my bathroom counter, though! no scent that i can detect, which is great, but comes across as really, really shiny on me. this probably won't work long term because i'm trying to get away from being shiny. however, if you're looking for more a dewy look, this would work great.
i'm on a budget so i bought this on sale instead of clinique's long pretty lashes like i normally get. meh-- it's ok. while it makes my lashes full, it's borderline clumpy. my lashes are a half step away from being spidery. i bought it in black brown and the color is nice. $5 for mascara was a great price, but i'll probably pony up and get the clinique next time. it seems like all mascaras are made of the same juice but have different brushes; it's just too bad that the brush i like in clinique is $14...
i just bought this today and so far, so good. i've been looking for an inexpensive, light coverage powder and someone from the boards recommended i try this. i bought the fragrance-free version (green compact) in creamy natural. it's a great match to my skin tone and so far has come through with everything i was looking for: light coverage, not too chalky or cakey, great price. you can't beat $4.99. i'm so glad cover girl has a fragrance free option, too, as i'm pretty sensitive to scents. the compact itself has a nice, big mirror and a good clasp. yay!
Lotions/ Creams -Narciso Rodriguez - Narciso Rodriguez for her body lotion

i really, really wanted to like this as the EDP is one of my all time favorite scents. but on me, both the lotion and cream don't smell right; they're too sharp, too tinny, too metallic, too cheap. i can sense that the lotion and EDP are related scent-wise... but they're more like distant cousins than brother/sister. too bad!
i really liked this-- it wasn't too heavy for me and absorbed into my face quickly. i didn't get any prickly feeling like other reviewers. my skin feels nice and hydrated all day long. i'm thinking of getting the bigger size.
my auntie gave this to me after cleaning out her makeup drawer. i'd had my eye on it since she got it years ago. love it! so slim it fits in my purse, cute colors and little mirror/brush, good staying power and shine. i like stila's lip glazes much more when they're not in the twist up packaging. hope to find one on ebay when this palette runs out!
terrible. it's like a mix between olive oil and vaseline. bad packaging, too: you can't apply directly to your lips. the balm is too slick and doesn't last long. i use it only when i'm out of everything else.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Pink Grapefruit Body Cream

this smells like grapefruit pixi stix. it does make my skin soft, however.
this is very gentle. i love how it doesn't make my skin feel tight. it has a pleasant smell and one pump is enough for my entire face. will definitely repurchase.
i've used this nearly every day for about 3 years. it looks very fresh on my skin (PPP). the smell isn't too obnoxious and it lasts a long time. i ditched the brush it came with, though, and use a little kabuki brush instead. much better.
i adore this shampoo. i have fine hair but a lot of it, with a lot of body, some wave and some frizz. since i've been using this shampoo i've noticed a difference in the way my hair falls, feels and looks. it's smooth and glossy. i use this with phyto's defrizz balm and then blow dry my hair. the two together work wonders on my hair. i also love the scent-- it's a little musky and masculine, which is a nice change from the normal floral/fruity smells of most shampoos. i'll definitely get this again.
Fragrances -Narciso Rodriguez - Narciso Rodriguez for her EDP

i'm totally in love with this. on me, the amber is balanced with a non-cloying sweetness; there's some woody honey, a hint of peach and a not too musky (or musty!) musk. to me, it smells like warm, clean human; as weird as that may sound! it's a comforting, close type of smell. i prefer the EDP to the EDT and have tried the lotion, which i didn't care for. too ambery. but the EDP is a nice blend. worth checking out. definitely keep smelling your wrist once you've sprayed. it just melts into your skin.
love this! sometimes i find a stray glitter near my mouth but aside from that (er, and the ultra high price!) this is a lovely sheer lipstick. just the right amount of color and staying power. good smell and taste. wicked cool packaging.
This could possibly be my signature scent. It's not too powdery or sweet but rather smells cool, light and delicate. It's very unique and I can't wait to try the lotion, soap and bath oil.
i had a sample of this and tried it for about a week before deciding to buy it. and now i'm in love. it's unlike anything else that i have, truly, although i do have "joy" which also contains jasmine. if jasmine isn't your thing, you won't like this perfume. it's heady and intoxicating at first but mellows out about 20 minutes later into something very clean and light, at least on me. it took me a while to be sure i liked it. on my skin, it smells like when someone comes inside after being outdoors on a cool, clear day. super fresh. i tend to gravitate towards citrus and rosy floral scents; i also like lily and violet. those are the best scents for my body chemistry, as things tend to smell green on me. perfume is so personal, though. my advice is to try on as much serge lutens as you can, then see how you like it after about an hour. his perfumes change so much and have so many layers. but it's a wonderful line.
