Primer/ Corrector -Shiseido - integrate mineral makeup base

Another integrate product I got from Japan. Since my mufe makeup base is almost completed, I thought I should give This a shot and I'm glad I did. The first time I tried this on, I didn't really like it. The texture is a bit too thick for my liking but i did notice that my makeup stayed on without oxidizing. The second time I tried it, I mixed it with my banila Co primer and the consistency was a dream. My makeup lasts longer and it foundation and powder sticks better to my skin. I will definitely.repurchase!

Liquid -Shiseido - integrate mineral liquid foundation

This product is packaged in a simple plastic squeeze bottle. The texture of This liquid foundation is runny, you would think that runny texture = No coverage. You'll be surprised... the coverage is medium and if layered, I think it will attain full coverage. I use a stippling brush to stipple This on and since it's of a runny consistency, you can imagine how easy it is to apply. Normally, i will use a 2 way cake to top it off but for this one, loose powder is good enough. I have serious decoloration and my face is very very red. The product lasts and lasts throughout the entire day with just one touch up. It doesn't oxidize either so I love love love, This product..

Powder -Shiseido - integrate mineral powder foundation

Bought This product from Japan at 1380 yen. It comes in a plain white case and a 2 sided puff. One side of the puff is the regular synthetic sponge while the other has a velvety texture. The synthetic part is for regular application while the velvety one is for buffing. i got this in shade 010 and it's a perfect match for my nc25 skin tone. It contains a little bit of fine shimmers but.it's definitely not obvious even under bright lights. The powder adheres very well to my skin and it stays put even though I oil a lot. The product lasts throughout the entire day with one touch up and if my face doesnt oil that much, I doubt there would be a need to touch up at all! The product has good coverage, I would say medium coverage. It covered my redness and even out the skin tone to a smooth dewy finish. Overall I think it's a fantastic product and I will definitely repurchase!

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - konjac puff sponge red clay
rated 5 of 5
christineneogoh 8/13/2012 12:32:00 AM

I bought this from Nature Republic as I was desperate for a quick solution to my cystic acne breakout. I bought myself a set of 3 which included charcoal bamboo, red clay and normal. I have been using the charcoal bamboo one for about 1 week now and am pleased to say that it works. While the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Clay mask did flatten the acne, it did not eradicate the problem as I was still popping new acne here and there. After using this, those terrible red angry acne were a thing of the past. I really attribute my current clear skin to this sponge. At the price of SGD4.50 each, I am sold! Will be buying more of these to stock up!

Masks -InnisFree - Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask
rated 4 of 5

Bought this during a time of crisis. I was having severe cystic breakouts and nothing was helping. I purchased the hard version which was for oily skin. There is nothing hard about the product in case you are wondering. The product is smooth on application and dries pretty quickly but doesn't have any tight feeling whatsoever. I applied this over the acne and left it over night and wow the acne(s) had flattened a considerable bit and I was really happy with the results. That said, I didn't feel that it had deeply cleansed my pores as I still had those yellowy toothpaste like stuff coming out from my pores when I squeezed them. But, at least it helped in flattening out the huge cystic acne that I was experiencing.

Eyeliner -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Liner #13 Black
rated 5 of 5
christineneogoh 8/13/2012 12:15:00 AM

I have tried so many different liners in the market, cheap to expensive, you name it. This, is by far THE best eyeliner I have ever used. It lasts all day without smudging even when I use it to tightline my lash line. The only drawback is its applicator ..its too stiff. The applicator is not the brush type more of the spongy but stiff kind. When applying, the liquid does not split up as much as the others, if its does split a teeny weeny bit, you can just layer over it when its dried. Packaging wise, its still acceptable but I would still prefer to have a softer applicator. I will buy this over and over again as it really does not smudge.

Bought this for SGD10.00. I like how pigmented this product it. However, I didn't like that its so shimmery, guess I will have go easy on the application. The staying powder is so so I will have to reapply by midday.

Liquid -Za - Skin Beauty Liquid Foundation SPF18 PA++
rated 3 of 5
christineneogoh 5/6/2012 8:02:00 AM

I bought this at approximately $18 ish in color no. 22. This is suitable for NC25 skintones. This liquid foundation provides sheer to medium coverage. I apply this using MAC's stippling brush and the coverage is enough to even out my reddish skin. Though it doesn't cover blemishes and acne scars, it really does even out the skin tone. The consistency of this product is somewhat similar to EL's double wear. Blends well and adheres well too. The lasting powder is nothing to shout about though. At the end of the day, everything is almost gone. But I would still use this if I'm only going out for 4 to 5 hours nothing more than that.

Loose Powders -NYX - NYX Loose Powder
rated 3 of 5
christineneogoh 5/6/2012 7:53:00 AM

Bought this for SGD18 in Light Beige No. 11. I use this after my ZA liquid foundation. It adheres to my skin really well and matches my NC25 skin too the tee. I didn't really like the scent of this product. I like how this product keep my skin matte for half a day but on the other hand, my skin broke into little bumps. I'm not sure if I can attribute the outbreak to this product coze if it does, it would be a shame. The packaging of this product is not too bad the screw cap lid is secure and sturdy while the puff looks good. I didn't use the puff though, I applied the powder using a brush. I will try out this powder again once my skin condition has settled and determine if this is holy grail material or otherwise.

Treatments -La Roche Posay - Cicaplast
rated 4 of 5
christineneogoh 4/23/2012 8:41:00 AM

I bought this after watching Lisa Elridge's video .. my skin is peeling really bad due to the cystic acne I have on my face. I look terrible with and without makeup its absolutely horrendous... Anyway, that aside.. the area around the acne is flaky and awful so I removed my makeup and applied this on without anything else underneath it ... and after applying a thin layer and then applying the makeup .. I was like WOW!! Its flaky no more and the makeup just glides on and it sticks!! doesn't separate or cake! my makeup stayed on for the rest of the day without streaking! The following day, I applied it over my moisturizer, makeup application was ok but during midday, my makeup separated and the flakes came out. Sad.. but I will try again...

Treatments -La Roche Posay - Effaclar Duo
rated 3 of 5

I bought this after a recommendation from my best friend. She claims that an whitehead that could never have been extracted, surfaced and she was able to extract it after 2 long years and this, she credited to the use of this product. I am currently having this terrible nodularcystic acne going on, I have tried salicylic acid, BP and Tea tree .. nothing works.. so I bought this and applied it over the affected areas. While my acne had dried up, the skin around the acne started to flare up to what appears to be muzzle rash ... sad.. I had to stop this treatment and get those pesky muzzle rash off my muzzle! When I stopped the treatment for a day, a new acne popped up -_- .. but at the same spot where the old acne was. I will use this as spot treatment moving forward and will update once again! But I am hopeful...

Blush -Hard Candy - Fox in a Box Spicy & Sweet
rated 4 of 5
christineneogoh 2/19/2012 9:19:00 AM

Got a friend to buy this for me from Walmart. It cost USD6 excluding tax, but its still classified as dirt cheap for me. First off, I like the intensity of the color, its pink and with a wee bit of shimmer in it. Just one sweep across the cheek is sufficient to see you through the entire day. It goes on sheer, not like its painted on. With regard to the packaging quality, it resembles Benefit's Dandelion and all but I didn't like it one bit. When I tried to close it, the cover of the box flips right back up and besides this boo boo, the cover tore a bit because they didn't cater enough material for the box to fold up. In addition, I find the box too deep thus its difficult to swirl my brush in it. I will buy this again despite its lousy packaging as the product is pretty good and its so damn cheap.

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+
rated 5 of 5
christineneogoh 2/10/2012 2:17:00 AM

I tried this on when the Skindinivia No More Shine Make up Finish wasn't working for me. First of all, this product isn't as watery as the Skindinivia, it feels more dense and sticky. Upon spraying on, the liquid felt sticky and difficult to dry. I use my stippling brush to stipple the spray to even out. When I looked into the mirror, my skin looked as if it was air brushed or I had naturally good skin! It looked dewy and nice. I bought this at SGD25.00 and thought it was really cheap, much cheaper than the skindinivia one which cost USD29.90 for the mid sized bottle. However, I gave the packaging quality a 3 because of the nozzle and the way it dispense the product. It wasn't as even as I would like it to be. Having said that, the packing looks nice though. Another point that I'd like to make is that, normally by mid day when I touch up my makeup, the powder simply wouldn't adhere, it just sits on the surface. But with just one application of this in the morning, the mid day touch up was effortless, make up sticks on my skin and looks good and in the evening, my makeup looks just a teeny weeny bit worn out. I love this product and will keep buying it!

Loose Powders -Unlisted Brand - Elisha Coy Soft Finish Mineral Powder
rated 5 of 5
christineneogoh 12/28/2011 7:55:00 AM

I bought this in No.2 natural beige. The powder claims to give moisture to parts of your skim wherever required while absorbing sebum. I use this on top of my liquid foundation and it provides a very radiant finish which I really like. The radiance can also be seen even when I apply it over matte foundation. I also apply it over my powder foundation for the radiant look. The oil control isn't very fantastic as I start to oil at about 4 hours after putting it on. The product comes In a nice classy tub with a plastic sift where you shake the contents out. I don't really like the accompanying sponge which, in my opinion is more suitable for applying powder foundation, definitely not for loose powder. I'm not sure how much it's original retail price is, but I got it a 2 for $30 sale on a website and it's a steal in my opinion. I will definitely buy this again once I finish my current stock as it really gives me a beautiful radiant finish.

Pressed Powders -Unlisted Brand - Elisha Coy Skinny Mineral Pact
rated 3 of 5
christineneogoh 12/28/2011 7:45:00 AM

Bought this in shade 21 natural beige. This powder comes in an elegant maroon colored case with a plastic flap separating the sponge from the powder itself. The color is a perfect match for my NC25 skin. The powder claims to be able to absorb the "bad" sebum and provide moisture to parts of your face wherever required. The powder is very finely milled and has very slight shimmer which is melts into your skim giving it radiance. Don't worry, you won't be a disco ball I've tested that out. I use it as a touch up powder as its very portable and it doesn't cake up like other pressed powders do. However, I use a brush to apply it so it goes on natural. Don't expect any coverage for this powder as it only helps to complete the look and eliminate the shine from your face. Besides, eliminating shine, it also brightens your face and the plus point is, it doesn't oxidize at all. It doesn't have any scent so it's suitable for people who are sensitive to smell. I bought it at a very cheap price as it was on promotion. It retails at $55 which is quite expensive considering it a not so well known brand. As long as the online store still has promotions, I will repurchase.
