I found my absolute HG. It's woody but not too masculine, spicey but not aggressive, warm and sugared but not overwhelming, bergamote notes are sharp but not cooling down the whole balance. I am allergic to a lot of fragrances, but this one is so comfy I could sleep in a whole basin full of it. Seriously. The price tag is of 100 euros, but the bottle is so huge, I don't know how many years it will last... and there are enough to make and offer decants to all your beloved husband/boyfriend/friends/family and collegues. Can be weared as well as in dry winter, as in tropical summer. I cannot think of any situation where it would be inappropriate. However, if you are looking for a sharp, striking, impressive fragrance, then it won't be your choice.

Mascara -Shu Uemura - Fiber Xtension [DISCONTINUED]

The colors are bright and I really wanted all of them for the summer, but I wear contact lenses and I ended up at the ophtalmologist after maybe 3 hours of use ... It seems that the fibers fall apart very quicky and I got the worst conjunctivite I ever had. I'd love to try them again with a mascara fixer but I can't find the courage...

Treatments -Decleor - Whitening Arommescence

It has no whitening effect, but I have to say this is a great product. I have a lot of allergies, and I had tons of break outs and atopic scars in June. The creams and antibiotics I got from the doctor didn't help at all, so I started to use this and it completely cleared out my skin in three days!!! It's just amazing. I love the floral scent too.

I am Japanese, so I wanted to give it a try. At first, I was extremely disappointed because it was very oily and couldn't feel like my skin was clear & clean. But a few days later I realized that my skin gets perfectly clean and moisturized. It doesn't cause any breakouts even in midsummer which is surprising when you consider its texture.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Touchdown In Tokyo Trio 2001

I love so much Stila older e/s texture! They are way smoother than in recent palettes. Colors are light beige, dark beige (rather than mustard) and forest green. They are highly blendable and would suit medium skin with yellow undertones, i.e. almost anyone that is lightly tanned. It would be great on backpakers and safari girls wandering in hot countries. Very subtle, soft & natural, day-time make-up.

I love this! This is my favorite AA if not the only AA I really love. I wear it when I want to scent fresh & feminine. Guys love when I wear this too ! On me, it scents sweet pea which is one of my favourite flowers. As natural sweat peas are available for two weeks a year only, I really need to have a bottle of Foliflora for the other 50 weeks.

Palettes -Giorgio Armani - Deep Mediterranean Palette

This is supposed to be a "deep" palette, but the 4 e/s are so little pigmented that they look natural on any skin tone, tan or no tan. The only color which is deep is the dark plum bronzer. You can use it as a bronzer if you remove excess powder before applying very lightly without swiping. It works better as a blush though. The e/s in the sheer palette are more pigmented, so you won't get the same result although they look similar in the pan. This a nice palette for those who want a natural MU for summer but might be a little boring for non-mediterranean girls like me. We'll need to add an eyeliner, a masacara & a shiny gloss to get a little sexy whereas mediterranean girls with super-thick lashes & brows will be happy with the palette & a lip balm.

Silvery sage// Aqua blue with silvery glitters. Both colors are very refreshing and brighten up the most tired eyes. Super-smooth application. Both stay long, no crease, & glitters are visible without being outrageous. Works great on fair skin with white & pastel clothing. This is what I expected NARS April Fools Duo to be.

Chocolate brown with silvery glitters //bronze green. The bronze green color can be smudged as an eyeshadow (doesn't crease at all) or is great on the lower lids. It is a very bright shade but looks very natural. The chocolate brown color is wonderful as it doesn't smudge at all, stays loooong, & its silvery glitters are very visible without being outrageous. Makes eyes look wider & sparkling.

Blush -NARS - Creme Blush in Cactus Flower

I expected a poppy or water melon red, but it actually is a supercool fuschia pink !??? It shows bright pinky mauve once applied which works wonderful on my fair skin as this cancels out my yellow undertones. It is expensive, but given the minimal amount you need to apply, it turns out to be reasonably priced.

This is the ONLY coral blush that shows cool on my skin !!!! This is superb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gives a very subtle natural flush on cheeks and light up my skin, whereas all coral blushes I have ever tried turned out dark/reddish orange once applied. Great for all fair skin (yellow to olive) like me.

It's copper with copper shimmer but shows soft pink with pale pink shimmer on me. Very flattering on sun-tanned skin.

Highlighters -Giorgio Armani - fluid sheer #12

Pretty bottle for a liquid highlighter that brings lilac shimmer. The shimmer are so large that you end up with visible glitters all-over your face. You'd better use Kitten goes to Paris as you would have the same effect for less money. I cannot understand why they put such enormous glitters in it. GA is supposed to like being subtle. Well FS 12 is not subtle at all.

Good primer above average but not outstanging. Good sun protection provided for such a non-greasy product. But I won't buy again as it is too expensive for its nothing-special performances.

Packaging is smart but you cannot know how much you have left : the bottle is too heavy so you can't really know whether it is half empty or completely empty unless you weigh it on the first day of use. The foundation itself is rather fine. Middle to good coverage, matte finish, stay is OK but not outstanding. It is too thick when applied with the brush. I prefer to apply with my fingers. You can then manage to have a lighter coverage & less matte finish. Good product but not my favorite.
