*LONG REVIEW* first impressions: i researched into this product a lot, as i wanted to get a general overview on whether it was worth purchasing or not. and 80% had said it was good. So later in the week i had gone to boots to actually purchase this. Now the tester was thick..as i expected and in all honesty what i prefer. so i got my color which is N52 vanilla (if you are nc 20 this is your color) so i was really excited to try this when i got home. application: now this was tricky as when i took the lid off and shook it, it actually came out of the bottle.. which i was puzzled by. Then it came to the actual application, now i used 1 pump and it came out of the bottle like water! so i was quick at trying to get it on my face. Result: the result was beautiful! now i have fairly normal skin sometimes oily but only in the summer, and i was looking for a foundation that gave a even and smooth coverage without leaving my skin feeling painted. the finish was lovely, i set it with my natural collection pressed powder and it looked lovely! Conclusion: from reading other people's reviews, i think there is a difference between applying it onto your face, and pumping it out of the bottle. as i was hearing all sorts of rubbish about it being impossible to blend. However i used my sigma round top kabuki brush and it was fine! i would not recommend applying with your fingers, as it is too liquidy. but i would definitely say you get what you pay for, it is a light - buildable coverage. i would recommend to older skin and normal skin as it would suit better! i would not recommend to acne prone skin, as the foundation will not provide enough coverage. i am definitely confused as to why they tester was thicker than the actual foundation its self? maybe its because i need to use it a bit more.. i will update my review a week later! but i will continue to use this foundation everyday as it is perfect for that use!
i bought this foundation last summer, as i needed a foundation to cover up m spots, whilst controlling my oil on my face, and during the summer everything multiplies by 10. so i bought this foundation, and it really is what it says! it stayed on my face all day and did a good job of covering all my spots (during summer my skin is so bad.) the price is inexpensive £20 for a foundation that is as it says it is is total worth it! so girls and boys, if you have acne prone skin or oily skin, then i definitely recommend this! however i am on the look out for a new foundation as i am getting bored of mac. Haha. i am still in search of my HG but still this foundation is excellent and well worth every penny!
