BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream
chippochic 1/19/2013 9:52:00 PM
I picked this up in Coles for $14.50 in Medium. I would not call this a BB cream. It is thin and runny with no SPF. It didn't have any coverage on my face. I am a BB fan. I have purchased a few Asian ones, but they are too light in colour for me. The texture and coverage of the Asian ones are vastly different to this. My BB of choice is Garnier matte in Medium. It is superior to this.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Civant Skin Care Meladerm

I purchased meladerm cream because the theory is that the wrinkles don't make you look old, the uneven skin tone does. I have used this cream for 2 weeks now, every morning and some nights when I remember. I have noticed a considerable difference in my skin tone and it is starting to look more even and brighter. I have purchased several products for anti ageing and I believe this is the best for pigmentation. My friend of a similar age (50s) was so impressed with my skin that she has purchased meladerm. I also ordered a bottle for my daughter (32) who is getting married in November just to brighten up her skin as well. The product is well packaged with an airless pump dispenser. One pump is enough for my face and neck. I am also using a tiny bit on the backs of my hands and the dark spots are starting to fade. One thing I stress is that you must use sunscreen, not just in your foundation, as it contains an alpha hydroxy acid. I use a lot of product on my face and I wondered how to incorporate another product into my skin care. For what it's worth, I now put meladerm on post cleansed skin, then Retinol A Gel from supplementspot, then sunscreen (Jergens natural glow healthy complexion daily facial moisturizer) or other SPF moisturiser and then primer and then foundation or bb cream. I live in Australia and meladerm cost $50 and $9 delivery so whilst it is not the most expensive cream on the market, it's not dirt cheap either. I agree with another reviewer who said go to the dermatologists for treatments not the cosmetic companies. I will be interested in how my skin looks after a couple of months so will repost later.

Treatments -Neutrogena - Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle Serum

I bought this serum after reading the reviews on MUA especially from bernsie. I bought the day cream as well. I really like this serum, others have said they don't like the silicone but I do. It makes your skin feel so smooth. I only use it in the morning on a clean face and then put the day cream over it. I sometimes mix the day cream with Philosophy Turbo Vit C powder for an extra hit. (Thanks, bernsie) The serum is in a pump bottle that opens and closes which is great. I won't buy creams that come in tubs or jars anymore. The bottle also unscrews so you can get the last of the serum out. I recommend this serum. In Australia, where I am, it is a reasonable price too, compared to some other products that are relatively cheap overseas but not here. It is around AUD30 in priceline but is on special occasionally. I have been using this for quite a while and have noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. I don't have any particular skin problems except aging and this has brightened my skin considerably. I only use it in the morning, I use other products at night.

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick

The price of this lipstick is not cheap in Australia therefore the 4. I do believe it is considerably cheaper in the US. The colour I have is nude 075. It is a tube with a sponge on the end of the lid. The lipstick is runny and you don't need a lot on the brush/spongey thing. It is quite sticky when applied and needs to be left to dry before doing any thing with your mouth. After it has dried it lasts well. I have eaten and drank and it stays on. I am not sure it would last 10-12 hours. I don't find it sticky after it dries and it doesn't feel like lipstick. I don't wear normal lipstick as I hate the feel and wonder the whole time if I have lippy on my teeth. I have only ever worn pencil all over and have tried some of the stains. This is a cross between lipstick and stain in my opinion. I would like to try a different colour and see if it stays as well as the nude. I would definitely buy again next time in the US but not at the $25 it cost me here. I think it will last a long time because of the small amount applied.

Foundations -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All-In-One
chippochic 9/25/2011 11:19:00 PM
I haven't tried any other BB cream and I thought this was perfect for a no makeup day. It really blurred the imperfections on my skin. I have a few broken capillaries and noticeable pores but I felt really good with just this cream on. Since buying this product I have read other reviews and have now just purchased a Missha BB cream online. I will update when it arrives and give a comparison. As of now though, the Garnier is pretty good. I am 56 years old and I have worn this alone for a couple of days and haven't frightened any small children so far!
