Gorgeous. Can't really say much about the staying power because I wear a primer underneath but this was my first color tattoo product. I went back at bought the purple today. Maybelline is really improving with their shadows. Good Job!

Mascara -Maybelline - Illegal Length Fiber Extensions

One day I stopped by in walmart and decided to browse the makeup aisle. I decided to pick up this mascara. At first glance, the packaging reminds me of the lash stiletto which I used and loved from a few years back. At first I wasn't really impressed with this mascara but I revisited again and I must say I love it! Especially on my bottom lashes. I would definitely repurchase again.

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

I first heard about this BB cream online and I was anxious for it to arrive in stores so that I could try it out. I am a big fan of maybelline and their foundations are a perfect match for me which is great because as a woman of color finding foundations in drugstores can be very difficult. Anyways every week I would head over to walmart and wouldn't see it so I eventually caved in and ordered it online (funny thing is the following week it was at my local walmart, maybe I should have waited) First impression: Looks really tiny, I thought It would be bigger than that. I read online that this is just a tinted moisturizer and they are right about that so if you are looking for full coverage then look elsewhere. I purchased this in deep and it is a good match. I think it is perfect for the summer! I usually apply it then go back in with concealer to cover my blemishes because as I mentioned previously this is not for full coverage. I really think this would be better suited for those with dry skin. I have oily combo skin and if I don't use a primer underneath it makes my tzone area greasy. Would I repurchase? Probably not. Update: I have been using this BB cream to just finish it up because I do not want to feel like I wasted my money. I had run out of my beloved revlon colorstay foundation and decided to go back to this for awhile. In short, I hate the smell of it (it smells like spit), and it makes my skin really greasy within an hour. I have to blot multiple times during the day. If you have oily/combo skin, definitely stay away. It will make you way oilier than you usually are. I am so done with these BB creams.

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Cream Eyeliner - All Colors

I have this in teal. Very gorgeous against darker skinned girls (my picture is up there (^). Very good staying power too. I remember going to the gym with it on and it lasted throughout my workout. I will repurchase it again and in other colors as well.

Loose Powders -Ruby Kisses - HD Setting Powder

This gets 2 thumbs up from me, It controls my combo skin for hours (of course I use a korean BB cream underneath that also claims to control oil) but nonetheless I will repurchase it. I kind of wish it was bigger though. I didn't realize it would be that tiny (I ordered it online).

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Mega Plush

Once again maybelline releases a new mascara and of course I gotta have it. This mascara is wonderful, it lengthens and thickens my lashes and it pretty much lasts all day. The packaging is very attractive and draws you in. I originally said to myself, "I don't need anymore mascaras" but when I was walmart it hypnotized me in lol. This will now be my go-to mascara, I think it is much better than falsies.

Primer/ Corrector -Boscia - Skin Perfecting Primer

I went into Sephora last year wanting a primer to control my combo/oily skin and I was recommended this. It really doesn't do anything special honestly, I still get oily in my t-zone area hours later. I wouldn't repurchase.

Lips -NYX - Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo

Gorgeous dark red color which is very flattering. I will continue to repurchase this. It goes on shiny but then dries to a lipstick like finish. It also lasts a long time. Even when it fades throughout there will still be some color left on your lips. Make sure your lips are well moisturized before putting it on though.

Palettes -Coastal Scents - Ultra Shimmer 88 eye shadow palette

I like this palette. I bought it about a year or two ago on amazon. I do kinda regret not searching eBay because you can find it from the originals in China for a much cheaper price. Lesson learned but moving on this is a great palette and it is a better alternative to buying single pots of eye shadows. The colors are gorgeous and to make the colors last all day and not crease use an eye primer/base. I use the NYX one. Other than that it doesn't last without a base/primer underneath. The one complaint I have about this is from whoever shipped this from amazon didn't package well because when I got it a few of the eye shadow pots were out of place.

I have two of these. It goes on clear. I do like how it looks on my lips but maybe I would use it on top a lipstick till it is all finished. I do not plan on repurchasing really.

I was out at walmart one day and decided to stop at the make up section just to browse. I saw this and decided to purchase it. The color I purchased was 401 which is a dark red vampy color. It is okay. You have to apply a lot to get full color and make sure your lips are mouisturized. Oh and it doesn't last 10 hrs. Also if you get some on your fingers or something else besides your lips, just know it won't come off for awhile. So I guess it is super stay on everything besides your lips.

Eyes -NYX - Glitter Cream Palette in 05 Bronze Goddess

I actually got this palette from my mom. A lot of people complain that it doesn't go on well but what i learned from a youtube guru is that you have to dab a little glue (like the ones you use to put on fake lashes) on your eyelids and them apply the glitter on top. I tried this and it works. I wore the lightest gold one on top of some gold eyeshadow. Looks very pretty. I am going to purchase the other palettes.

Moisturizers -Ponds - Dry Skin Cream

Love this! it is wonderful and keeps my skin very soft. I have combination skin and for the day time i just dab a tiny bit on the areas that tend to be dry (underneath my eyes, tzone area and mouth). I save the all over application for the night time. It doesn't break me out at all, matter of fact i really haven't had any skin breakouts since i started using this. I will definitely repurchase again.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Nude Airfoam Foundation

I bought this in the cocoa shade. The color was fine, maybelline's cocoa shade always works for me as a brown skinned black woman. I guess this foundation is just okay but i won't be buying it again. It seems too sheer and doesn't give enough coverage. I guess maybe if you have great skin without any blemishes you can get away with something like this that gives sheer coverage but for people like me with a little zit here and there and some dark spots it won't do much. The shade seems kind of orange-ish too, might be more noticeable on paler women. ETA: This foundations feels so sticky too. Try again Maybelline.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared

I love this mascara! It is now my go-to everyday mascara. Of course it isn't going to give you the look of false lashes (commercials always lie) but it is very dramatic. It lengthens and thickens very well. I really love the curve of the brush too. I will be repurchasing again.
