Misc Beauty Tools -TEMPTU - TEMPTU AIR Professional Airbrush System

Firstly, I will say that this is my first and currently only airbrush system that I own. This isn't in any way an experienced airbrush professionals review/opinion. I have reviewed both the TEMPTU AIR compressor and supplied SP-35 airbrush gun. Deciding to spend the extra money and get the TEMPTU AIR over the S-One is a decision I believe greatly depends on how you want to use this system. Having said that, I have never used the S-One and only my TEMPTU AIR, so I cannot accurately compare the loudness, weight, or size in real life just based on what the TEMPTU website says. The TEMPTU AIR is a very compact air compressor which makes it amazingly easy to take with you if you do any form of freelance work, traveling, events... you name it. It also comes with one rechargeable battery pack which they estimate can do 90 minutes of airbrush work until needing to be charged again. You can charge the battery by plugging just the battery alone into the wall, or the compressor and battery together so you may use it as it charges. You can also use just the compressor alone plugged into the wall. When I first received the system I charged the battery 100% upon unpacking, and continued to use it until the battery ran completely out. It lasted me roughly 5 applications, given I was taking my time and playing around with the system a bit to get used to it. The build of the compressor is a hard black glossy plastic body with a chrome TEMPTU emblem. Without the battery pack attached it is very lightweight to carry around. The hose supplied is made of what feels to be a rubber-like material, and the SP-35 airbrush gun is made of metal. Personally I feel that it is overall very high quality, the dial for adjusting the pressure turns smoothly and feels sturdy, the locking mechanism for the battery pack was tricky the first time but holds the battery firmly in place when attached. The airbrush gun can be disassembled and put back together quite easily for cleaning purposes and has a decent weight itself. In order to disperse product from the gun you must press down on the trigger and then pull back, when the trigger isn't in the downward position no air flows out of the end of the gun. That being said, the only semi-negative opinions I have about the build quality would be the button to turn the system on and off isn't as responsive as I would like/expect it to be. Also the connections for twisting and locking the hose to the compressor/airbrush gun are sometimes a but finicky. As for how loud it is, it isn't horribly loud, but it isn't something I would consider to be "quiet". Although it is supposed to be less noisy than the S-One compressor. They do provide you with a rubber pad to place under the compressor in order to diffuse any sound and help keep it in place and stable on any surface I have ever stood it on. TEMPTU also offers a harness so you can have the compressor suspended at hip level for freelance artists who want to remain mobile. As for the functionality, I have absolutely no complaints, the pressure levels can be adjusted very accurately and accordingly. The foundations, both TEMPTU S/B and Aqua formulas come out of the gun evenly, but once you get to the end of the foundation in the reservoir it can sometimes sputter a bit. I haven't experienced any functionality hick-ups or problems since purchase. Overall I am very pleased that I chose to go with this system, I love the portability and quality. Also the supplied gun allows for all types of airbrush foundations to be used with the system, not only the TEMPTU brands.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Pro Skincare Brush

Although this is definitely a splurge and not easy on the wallet, I don't regret this purchase one bit. I have never been able to clear as much of my makeup off my face as efficiently as with the Clarisonic. I can't claim it will change your life or alter your skin dramatically over night, but I will say my skin has improved slowly over the first 3 months of owning this. I attribute that to the fact that it really cleans my face not only well, but gently so it doesn't become irritated.
Double Wear is everything I was expecting/hoped MUFE HD was... when I finally gave in after my disappointment with it and tried Double Wear I can safely say I will not be going back! The coverage is perfect and they actually make a shade that matches my skin tone (I use Bone). But the thing that blew my mind most, it actually lasts forever!! I have never had a foundation hold up this well all day when I am at work, it is amazing and so nice to not worry about how my foundation looks part way through the day. Only part that I would change is the fact that it lacks a pump :)
I bought a professional airbrush system from Temptu recently... and although I have tried their S/B foundations I decided to buy a bottle of Aqua for my own personal everyday usage, especially since it was listed as a matte finish foundation and water based (probably better for my sensitive skin)... Goes on lovely. Feels very light and sets quickly after airbrushing onto the skin. The shade I got looks like a perfect match in the bottle, I got 102 - Beige. I tested it for the first time today at work... 8 hour shift. About 3 hours into my shift one of my coworkers came up and asked if I had been sunburned... I went to the washroom confused only to see the foundation had totally oxidized on my skin leaving me a reddish orange tone. Horrid. Also, by the end of the day my face is left quite oily... although I didn't powder as I wanted to test this. The foundation is still on and would be nice with a layer of powder.... if it wasn't a horrid orange. And much to my dismay, Temptu will not accept returns/offer refunding on product that has been used/tested.... when you can usually only buy the Pro series foundations online. Disappointing again. I really wanted to love this foundation, and want to find a way to make it work.... but oxidizing is usually not a "fixable" problem.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

Moisturizes my very oily skin perfectly, feels light, and keeps my skin balanced... which is kind of a miracle! Love the pump dispenser and the quantity for the price isn't bad imo. Also so glad it hasn't broken me out even one bit since I started to use it! Will definitely continue to use this, wish I had tried it sooner than I did :)
Not pigmented enough for me unfortunately... I'm a big fan of their original Liquid Liner, but this doesn't even come close to that in the quality! Too bad.
I wanted to like this! I really did! But I found that it looked patchy when I applied it, didn't have the kind of coverage I would have liked, and left my oily after a few hours. It just didn't work well with my skin tone or type unfortunately.
Only thing that I would improve would be that I wish it came with a pump! Other than that, this stays on my super oily skin and doesn't budge or become shiny at all throughout my work day; which is a challenge for most foundation on me! So love that it lasts so long without touching up. Also can't complain about the price compared to my usual MUFE foundation :)
I recently lost all my makeup to a car break in... and this has kept me sane for the past few weeks! Gorgeous neutrals that can be worn lightly for daytime or layered and smoked out for night time. Very smooth and blendable texture. Love!!
I have been searching for the perfect purple (or what I classify as the perfect one for me) and this is it! It was love at first sight! This works great as a smoked out liner if you want a more subtle look or as a great all over colour when you want that extra oomph! As with most of the Nars I've used, it went on very pigmented when I packed it on with a liner brush and lasted all thorought a night of dancing. My new favourite purple!
Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream

Wish it was a pump, and cost a little less. But I love the consistency, and no it doens't mattify my skin all day because my skin is uber oily, but it is very lightweight which I like. Also I noticed when I stopped using this for a few weeks my skin went though a mini freak out... started to use it again and it calmed down a ton. So, obviously my skin likes it as well :)
I have been in love with this from the first time I smelled it! If I use just one spray it lasts all day, nothing to strong, yet noticeable. I am in love!!!
Styling Products -Sebastian - Trilliant Thermal Protector and Shimmer Complex

I have had problems with shine-enhancing products making my hair look oily and stringy in the past, but this was nothing like that! I branched out from my usual, just a heat protectant and decided to splurge a bit on this because I'm in love with the Sebastian hairspray. I'm glad I did, it's super lightweight, smells nice and adds a natural shine, nothing over the top.
I just got Feline for the first time, and have been searching for the perfect black Kohl eyeliner for years... I may have just found it. No complains, I love that its creamy and can be blended out easily for a smokey effect, just set it with carbon and it lasts for hours. It has stayed on my waterline better than any other kohl ever has. Also love how dark it is, I wanted the blackest black possible and that's what Feline gave me. Now I have to figure out how I can survive once the two I have run out!
Loved the super intense black colour, and volume this gave my lash. I switched to Buxom lash now, but this will always be my #2. Never flaked, smudged or any of that for me. Only problem was sometimes it could get clumpy if you put too many layers, but other than that I have no complaints!
