Generally I love Borghese products. And I love the lipsticks, just wish they came in a bit more variety of colors! The cases are beautiful and elegant, and the lipsticks wear well and are well worth the price. I knocked off one lippy because of the color choices. Would definitely recommend and buy again. (There are some that won't like the fragrance, honestly, it reminds me of retro lipsticks. I can remember sneaking a swipe of my mother's lipstick when I was young and Borghese's lipsticks remind me of that time! Sometimes I think those memories have a lot to do with our choices of scents throughout life!)

Lipstick -Shiseido - The Makeup Lipstick in "Nuance Rose"

One of my greatest weaknesses (besides chocolate!) are lipsticks, and I have tried many different brands over the years. Besides Borghese (another review!) I love this Shiseido lipstick in "Nuance Rose." It has some "heft" to it, without looking heavy, lasts longer than most, and the color complements my complexion and hair. And it isn't heavily fragranced like others. I would buy this again, and maybe it is time to clean out those tried once and tossed in a drawer lipsticks and stick with the one that I really like!

Fragrances -Lancome - Magie Noire EDT

When I and my husband separated last year, I did a recoup of my fragrances just so I wouldn't be reminded of him! I love Cinnabar, Opium and the orientals and musks too...and I saw the black topped bottle of Magie Noire on ebay, and went hunting online for a discription. I liked what I read and on the whim bought a bottle. It is very different. and it takes a brave woman to wear it, a confident sensual sort of woman. I have had many complements on it. It reminds me of wood, leather, incense and beeswax...and it DOESN'T remind me of my ex!! It represents the newly resurrected ME!! I would like to mention to the youngsters on here need to remember that those "old ladies" in minks were once young, like them, and the classics endure. Those fruity foo-foo fragrances are nice, but classic scents are for women and establishing your style of who you are!! (those fruity things are going to be like tatoos...cute when you are 19, but really sad when you are hitting middle age!) So be a bit adventuorous, and mysterious, 'cause there are a lot of men out there that like that sort of thing! Will definitely keep wearing this keeper!
