This stuff made my face itchy and didn't clear me up at all. Plus it was pretty expensive for a drugstore product. Very disappointing.

Mascara -Bonne Bell - eyestyle in black

This is an excellent d/s masacara @ a cheap price - about $3.50. It separates lashes really well and seems to coat and bring out each little lash. I've been blessed with long lashes and really only need thickening. This does the trick. I curl my lashes and then sweep this over them a few times. I agree with other reviewers that it won't give you dramatically thick lashes, just a natural-looking enhancement of what you already have. Overall, I'm really really happy with this product and recommend it to others.

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - #507A-Lava
rated 4 of 5

I bought this product to use as an MLBB for my NC44 skin. Unfortunately, it was lighter than my skin shade and looked weird on my lips. However, it is extremely creamy for a d/s lipstick! Feels nice on the lips. I now use it for toning down bright l/s - outline the lips w/ a bright color, then fill in the inner part of the lips with Lava. Mush your lips around and blend the color. Voila - brighter lipcolor is now wearable! Staying power is so-so, but it only costs $1, so how can I complain? :o)

Lip Liners -Milani - Easy liner for Lips - Mahagony
rated 4 of 5

This is a great brick-red/brown liner for my NC44 skintone and pigmented lips. The color is nice and can be used as an everyday red. I line my lips with this, fill in, and then swipe with gloss. As for lasting power, this is average. The texture is also average - not too dry and crumbly but not as smooth as it could be.

Lipstick -Milani - LottaLip - Stay Currant
rated 4 of 5
cheesysmile1212 11/16/2006 3:56:00 AM

This is a "long lasting lip color" with two products - a lip color concentrate and a clear gloss - on one stick. This color is a berry-ish red that's not too bright for my NC44 skin. It's similar to the type of red color that Halle Berry wears in the Revlon commercials. I bought this thinking it would last through eating, drinking, etc., but it didn't. It does last longer than other lip colors and isn't troublingly dry when paired with a gloss. However, when I ate with it on and tried to be careful not to wipe away the color, I ended up with a red ring around my lips. Not the look I was going for. I think there are probably better products out there if you want something long-lasting.

Lip Liners -Milani - Easy Liner for Lips - Most Natural
rated 3 of 5

I use this color on my pigmented lips (I'm an NC44) to make them lighter for JLo looks. It looks great paired with nude glosses. Staying power is nothing impressive. It's not as soft as the retractable l/l from Milani (which is great) but goes on better than WnW l/l's for sure.

Lipstick -Milani - cocoa butter
rated 3 of 5
cheesysmile1212 11/16/2006 3:48:00 AM

The lipstick goes on smooth and I don't have a problem with the smell, but the color is too dark for my taste (NC44). It's a nutty, flat brown color. If you're looking for that kind of a color, try this out because it's only $2.99. I now use this to dull down my bright colors or pat it on lightly and slick a gloss over it.

Lipstick -New York Color - 309B Sheer Red
rated 3 of 5
cheesysmile1212 11/16/2006 3:45:00 AM

This is a nice 94 cent lipstick that will pick you up on a cloudy day. On my NC44 skin it's a red with berry tones rather than a fire engine or other true red. It's a nice color but overrated imo. It's pretty versatile though - can be used full strength, with a gloss, etc. Highly pigmented for a "sheer" color and goes on smooth, not dry & gritty like my NYC Wild Orchard. EDIT: This stuff is so smooth and pigmented - very nice quality.

Repost - I was told my my esthetician that this is a notorious pore-clogger. I stopped using it and wouldn't recommend anyone else to use it for that reason.

Eyeliner -Milani - Easy Liner Retractable Pencil
rated 5 of 5

I bought this in plumstruck or plum fairy (too lazy to check the name). This went on like a dream - almost as creamy as lipstick with a bold, rich color (purplish berry shade - very wearable for darker skinned girls). I line lips with this and fill in partially, then swipe a pink gloss over it and mush for a pretty color. Highly recommend - great price and color selection.

Lip Gloss -Milani - #13 Jamaican Rum
rated 4 of 5
cheesysmile1212 11/23/2005 12:23:00 PM

Gorgeous color for olive skinned ladies. The consistency is a little thin - not too moisturizing and not overly shiny either. Plus it has a funny, unpleasant fruity scent. The reason I give it such a high rating is because the color is just absolutely gorgeous - a deep reddy brown. I def recommend it!

Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - moistureshine lipgloss
rated 4 of 5
cheesysmile1212 6/5/2005 4:21:00 AM

This is a good quality d/s lipgloss. It is very moisturizing (the next day after using it I randomly noticed how my lips felt so soft - I figured out it was this gloss). There seems to be a good color selection. I chose Gleam, which looked like a golden color in the tube (kind of that J-Lo goldy-nude color). I was disappointed when the gloss wasn't pigmented enough to show up on my dark (pigmented) lips. Now I just swipe this over my lips for a little shine and some shimmer (btw, microglitter isn't all "glittery" looking - more of a shimmer). I gave this a 4 on overall rating because of the lack of pigmentation and the gloss not showing up the same on my lips as it looked in the tube.

Lipstick -New York Color - Long Wearing Lipstick
rated 2 of 5

This is cheap, so it's tempting to buy but disappointing in terms of its feel and pigmentation. WnW is a much better quality l/s at the same price.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss
rated 1 of 5
cheesysmile1212 2/12/2005 12:03:00 AM

At first I fell for the whole "it's like MAC, only 1/10th the price" thing. I liked this at first, but lately when I put it on my lips it stings. That's so weird for a lip gloss! I got scared and am going to throw it away. I like the WnW l/s, but like I said...unexpected tingling is scary.

Brows -BeneFit Cosmetics - Brow-Zing in Medium
rated 3 of 5
cheesysmile1212 8/20/2004 4:20:00 AM

Repost - I just deleted the old post. This thing is good in terms of lasting power, but it's hard to put the color where you want b/c of the waxy consistency of the color paired with the tiny brush. I think it might be easier and cheaper to use a brow pencil.
