I love Nars, especially their lipsticks. I bought Orgasm about 3 years ago. There was so much hype about it looking perfect on every skintone so of course I had to buy it. Now this is when I did not know much about makeup. I didn't swatch it before I bought it because the color in the pan itself was gorgeous. (Pinky, beige, peach with small gold flecks) Anyways, I used to wear Orgasm a lot but always thought it looked a little strange. Eventually, as I got better at color, I realized it was because it just didn't match my skin tone. (I am a medium beige asian) Well, at least I didn't like the look it gave me. I looked like I had flushed cheeks from being drunk - not a look I'm really into. I have other similar colors of blush that don't make me look drunk but give me a really nice glow. I just wonder if I am the only one who doesn't think Orgasm looks good on them. (Am I just applying it wrong???)
Skincare - Face -Coastal Scents - African Black Soap

This is the only facewash I ever use! I've used many different kinds from cheap drugstore brands to natural burts bees/alba to pricey-er shiseido and french soaps. I have combination skin. If I don't use moisturizer my skin gets very flaky, however my forehead gets very oily. (Sometimes, I don't wash my face and it actually clears up more! haha) However, when I use this soap, my breakouts go dowwnnnn. I stopped using it for a while just because I got lazy, but then I started up a regular habit of cleaning with this soap, morning right after waking up and night before sleep. My skin became so smooth and pimple free... I love the squeaky clean feeling you get. Sometimes I do breakout though - it's not a 100% guarantee for me. It's very rare though. It is usually during my period and that's only like one pimple. The soap also lasts forever.
Yes, it does dry out, but it works if you cap it tightly and then leave it upside down like it says on the package. After that you have to let it.."recharge". It's good for toplining and tight lining the top but not the waterline. You also have to go over the line a couple times to make it nice and intense, however, the tip is nice and pointy so it's not a big deal.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared

This has to be one of my favorite mascaras. It provides amazing curl for my pin straight asian lashes, thickens like no other, and provides great separation. However, you can't use it normally; it takes a long time to make it look good. You have to make sure to separate each lash carefully. It takes a long time but makes lashes look false. Really. The only problem I have is that it is SUCH a bitch to take off.
