I've used the Silker range on and off for years and every time I stop, I find that my hair just isn't as great. This product does have a softening effect, but it does need to be combined with a leave-in treatment a few times a week if you live in London. I was chatting to a beautician the other day and they were telling me about how important it is to use good hair products because the water is so hard. I think most hair dressers recognise that KMS is a great brand, but not as many use it because it is a little pricey.

Lip Treatments -Christian Dior - lip maximizer

I always feel super confident and pampered using this lip plumper. I am a little addicted to it. I combine it with Vaseline Aloe Vera and a lipstick and I do find that it has a slight plumping effect. It's the only lip plumper I've used but I'm so happy with it that I wouldn't try anything else. It's a great beauty secret and it's one of those spoil yourself treats or as a special gift to a sister / cousin / gal pal you want to splurge on.

Scrubs -The Body Shop - Shea Body Scrub

I'm a fan of body shop scrubs although I'm not a fan of some of the fragrances. This one is pretty good, it seems more natural than those fruity ones. It's reasonably priced, I feel really clean when I use this scrub, and always use it with an exfoliation glove to get the best results. The tub goes a long way. The only thing is that I think they have changed the packaging or I've got one that got passed QA. I have trouble opening and closing the lid of the jar and this is annoying.

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - Rose Pearlescent Cream

Pros - Smell and texture Cons - Cost, not suitable for winter when skin is very dry. I enjoy using this product and it is a treat for me which has now become a bad habit. I'm a big fan of rose scented products, I find this rose scent is a lovely and subtle. It's a bit pricey and in the winter my skin is very dry and this just isn't an effective moisturiser. I like the packaging, it gives it that air of indulgence. I wish they made a travel size version as the glass jar is heavy and not suitable for taking it overseas. The pearlescent aspect is gorgeous since I'm too lazy to use glitter and other stuff, so a soft sheen works well for me.

Masks -LUSH - Brazened Honey face mask

This is my favourite face mask. It both exfoliates and the clay dries out and cleans . I always feel so good about my skin and I use it as part of my weekly beauty regime as well as a pick me up before a night out. I'm also a big fan of natural products. And Lush reward customers who bring back empty pots with a free mask. Fresh ingredients can be strong on sensitive skin so it's important to get the right mask for your face. I've tried some of the other Lush masks and this one seems to be the best one for me. I've also used other brands, but this one seems the best, I get compliments when I've used it and that for me is a sure sign that a mask is good. My friends always say they are jealous and they say how great my skin looks.
