Lip Gloss -Elizabeth Arden - High Shine Lip GLoss in Rosegold (18)

Price - Paying $16 for a HE product is not so bad. But then again, it's still $16. Also, it's a somewhat small tube. Packaging Quality - It's not terrible but I expect more from HE brands. Color and Pigment - It reminds me of NARS Orgasm blush. It's a beigy pink with specs of gold. I love the color. It compliments any skin tone but I think it would look best on darker skin tones. It is highly pigmented. It reminds me more of a liquid lipstick than a lip gloss. I've used this without lipstick. Though if you want more color pay off, wear a nude lipstick under it. Texture - It's not sticky and uncomfortable though it's not as "non-sticky" as NYX Megashine lip glosses. It's very creamy and long lasting (well, as much as you would expect from a lip gloss). You will feel the glitters on your lips and it may itch at the beginning. But I find that with me, that feeling fades quickly. Smell - This is the one thing I don't like. It smells like plastic. As time passes, I am able to overcome it but I can understand how some people might find it intolerable. Would I buy it again? No. While I am satisfied with the product and how much I paid for it, I am not crazy about it. I wear it a lot because I think it's quite pretty on me but I'm not overly ecstatic about the results.
PROs: - Gorgeous color (carnation pink) - It's creamy vs. Benetint's watery formulation - For lighter-skinned folks, it will give you a natural, dewy look. Very pretty on the cheeks. CONs: - requires to much effort to apply on the cheeks as it will dry out and leave you with blotches on your face. - if you have medium to dark skin color, it may not show up at all on your skin - if you have dark lips (for smokers or just if your lips are naturally pigmented), it may not show either. - it looks dry on the lips though you can use a lip balm or gloss over it. - applying it on your cheeks may rub off existing make up - i don't like applying it on my lips because i tend to lick them a lot. and this product tastes like poison. - it's too expensive for what it does. if this were a drugstore product, i wouldn't but it either. - the nail polish style bottle makes is difficult to consume the whole thing.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - I'm Feeling Retro

i love the whole color icon line. i don't always follow the recommendation on the palette. i'm not a fan of the highlight color as i find it to be too glittery and stark for this look. i use the blue on my lids and the purple on my crease instead. it looks much better that way and transition is smoother.
Highlighters -NARS - Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross

This is nice but not for me. i prefer pink tones for my highlight but this is too yellow and glittery for my liking. i still use it often but it's not what i reach for most of the time. if you're going to use a powder highlighter, might as well try mary loumanizer from theBalm. it's much better for a lower price.
the color looks like a scary neon pink but if you apply it with a light hand, it's so pretty. it holds more product than a nars blush for a much cheaper price. and since you don't need a lot of product, it will last much longer. i don;t have the same issue with opening it so that definitely doesn't bother me.
this has 10 shades, only half of which are pigmented and has a good color pay off. i got this for the purple shades as i can find the more neutral ones in UD, theBalm and wet 'n' wild. unfortunately, the purple ones are the worse colors of this palette. it looks good in the pan but it looks completely different when you swatch it. even worse when you apply on your lids. they're chalky and not blendable at all. it ends up looking all muddy. at first i thought it was my technique but when i tried an elf eye shadow of a similar color, it looked way better. the palette comes with a smudgestick which i like for its color and that it truly doesn't smudge. however, mine was broken. i could no longer twist it up and i've heard many people have had this problem with the stila palettes. the packaging looks a bit cheap but that's how it is for most stila products so that really doesn't bother me.
Lip Gloss -NYX - Lipgloss with Mega Shine Tea Rose

the color and pigmentation is great. it's not sticky and it lasts for a reasonable amount of time. basically what you'd expect from a lip gloss. i like how the tip of the wand is designed, makes it easier to apply. my only gripe is the cherry scent. i absolutely hate cherries.
this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. i have oily skin especially my eyelids. i start creasing immediately. i've used eyeshadow primers and they've helped in prolonging my creaseless state. however, i start creasing before the day even ends. when i used this, my eyeshadow was perfectly in tact even after being out for 15 hours. no fading and creasing and the color just popped even more.
Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Wetslicks Amazemint tickled pink

i like the color and it has enough pigmentation. i also got it half off so that makes it money well spent. i'm not crazy about the mint though. i usually like mint but this was too strong for me. other than that, i have to reapply every hour. i've already consumed half of the product in a month.
Lip Gloss -BeneFit Cosmetics - Ultra Plush Lip Gloss

I got the Hoola one because it looked like a nude shimmery gloss. Honestly, i might as well have used a clear gloss. if you have pale lips, maybe the color would show up better but not for very long. drugstore brands have better staying power than this and still have the pigmentation you want.
these are things it's supposed to do but didn't: -it doesn't brighten my face becasue you will lay on foundation on top of it anyway -i have oily skin and this didn't help -my makeup would have lasted just as long if i didn't have primer at all on top of everything, this is too expensive for doing practically nothing. the only thing i like about this product is the smell.
This is my favorite highlighter! I prefer liquid ones as I find it easier to blend. some have an easier time with powder ones but somehow, using my fingers is better for me. it has a light pink, pearlescent glow that is perfect for your cheekbone. when i'm going for a more natural look, i don't wear any eyeshadow but i use this as a highlight on my browbone and it's just beautiful. i sometimes use it in my inner corners as well though it's more challenging to apply. It's quite expensive though a little does go a long way. i'm now thinking of getting moon beam and sun beam as well.
I got it as part of the Bronze of Champoins kit (which I love, by the way) and it's an okay highlighter. It's not bad but i don't see anything special about it. I am able to blend it even after i've put on powder, but it's not as easy to do so. it adds a very subtle glow so it's not too obvious that you have highlighter on. i don't like it as browbone highlight though and you can't really use it in the inner corners of your eye.
This is my favorite bronzer as it is good for my medium skin. I like that it is matte so it looks more natural as a contour. It's not too dark so I can sometimes use it as a blush as well. There is a lot of product so it will take you a long time before you hit the pan so it's definitely money well spent. it also has good lasting power, even better if you set powder on top of it. My only gripe about it is the packaging. It's not ugly, it's kinda cute actually. But it's hard to get my brush into that small box. It's also a bit bulky if you put it in your purse. The upside of the box packaging is that you don't waste any fall outs when you swipe it.
I am quite pale so the sheerness doesn't bother me. This my "I'm not wearing blush" blusher. It's very clean and just a light touch of pink. It's definitely not something I want to wear everyday.
