Skincare - Face -Better Botanicals - Better Botanicals Dandelion Moisturizer

I decided to try this after getting it at TJ Maxx for $7 this weekend. I've used for a few days and really like it. It's light, moisturizes my combo skin, and absorbs really well. I have to mention that it's heavily scented, but I absolutely LOVE the scent! For the price, you can't go wrong. I usually use Lancome Primordiale, but this does just as good of a job at moisturizing for a fraction of the price.

Masks -Better Botanicals - Refining Facial Mask

LOVE it! I found this mask at TJ Maxx the other day for $7 and decided to try it. The mask is packaged well in a tube so it's easy to squeeze right onto your fingers. At first, I wasn't impressed with the consistency. It's rather thin and doesn't really smell like anything. I applied the mask and left it on until it dried completely - about 20 minutes. Once I began rinsing my face, I noticed my face looking really really smooth. I thought it was just the light reflecting off my wet face or something. After I dried my face and looked in the mirror, I was so surprised. My face looked amazing! All my pores were teeny tiny, my cheeks were rosy, skin texture looked so smooth. I have never ever had any product do this to my skin. This stuff does exactly what it say. REFINES and EVENS out your skin. It's amazing and even full price it's worth every penny. I would recommend using the mask once a week as directed since I did feel very faint irritation. Other than that it's amazing!

Treatments -Kerastase - Masquintense

This is yet another staple product I've added to my routine. I use it every time I wash my hair and works amazing with bain satin 3. The conditioner is very thick and you have to scoop it out of it's container. The great thing is that it's super concetrated, so you only use a very small amount. I've had this tub since May and still have a little under half of it left. As for what it does, it leaves your hair silky soft the minute you rinse. I feel like it's protected my hair from heat styling since I've noticed a lot less split-ends since I began using this line. My hair is thick and wavy, which means frizzy and I don't get a frizz mess with this. I really love it and even though it's so damn expensive, I'm biting the bullet and using this as my every-day conditioner. Def HG!

Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Satin 3 [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

LOVE IT! I thought that it would be difficult to top my Oleo Relax shampoo, but this did it. It's concentrated, so you don't need to use a whole lot of product and it cleans your hair and scalp thouroughly. I've been using it as my every-day shampoo since May and now is when I ran out. I don't get product build-up for days after washing and when I do, it just takes 2 rinses to wash my hair clean. It also leaves your hair super soft after your rinse it off. I use it in combination with masquintense and both products have saved my hair. I've noticed less split ends and no dried out ends since I've been using it. Although pricy, it's worth every penny - like many Kerastase products - and I higly recommend.

Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Apres Soleil

I absolutely love Kerastase products, but I wasn't crazy about this shampoo. It takes several washes before my hair and scalp feels clean - even if I'm not wearing styling product. I also bought the mask from this line and it doesn't moisturize very well. In my opinion, this is too average to justify it's price. I'll be sticking to my Bain Satin 3 and Masquintense.

Moisturizers -Lancome - Primordiale Skin Recharge Moisturizing Cream SPF 15
rated 5 of 5

This is def my current favorite moisturizer. I wasn't crazy about using Lancome products, but after trying the Progres eye cream, I decided to give this a shot. This cream is thick and moisturizing, but absorbs fast. Applying my makeup over (La Prairie Cellular Treatment Foundation) the cream is easy and blends perfectly. Best of all, it does what it's supposed to. You can feel the cream tingling on your skin upon application. It leaves your sking really smooth and moisturized. I typically don't touch up my make up through out the day and haven't had the need to do so with this moisturizer either. It's an overall great product.

Moisturizers -Lancome - Primordiale Night Skin Recharge
rated 5 of 5
celymoon 10/20/2009 4:29:00 PM

I purchased this product along with the day time moisturizer and have been pleased with both. I've been using these products for over a year now and my skin has kept nice and smooth without any break outs. The night skin recharge is very moisturizing yet absorbs quickly. It feels a little greasy immediately after application, but that goes away after a few minutes. It does have a light fragrance, but nothing overwhelming. I usually apply just a few times a week since I don't like sleeping with product on my face. When I do use it, my face looks radiant and well moisturized in the morning. It's a very good night cream and I would recommend it.

Treatments (Eye) -Lancome - Progres Eye Cream
rated 5 of 5
celymoon 10/20/2009 4:23:00 PM

I've been using this cream for over two years after choosing to purchase based on the great reviews. Overall, it's just a deep moisturizing eye cream. I don't have dark circles or noticable lines/wrinkles, so my use is preventative. It's very thick and takes a while to absorb, but it keeps my under eye area hydrated all day long. I've tried a lot of other eye creams, from Chanel to La Prairie, and this is the best all around product. I've also tried the Primordiale eye cream and it's also great. It's not as hydrating, but absorbs much faster.

Treatments (Eye) -Lancome - Primordiale Eye Skin Recharge
rated 4 of 5

I switched over from progres to this cream and like it a lot better. It's moisturizing and absorbs quickly. I don't suffer from dark circles, puffiness, or wrinkles - I'm just taking preventative measures at this point, so I can't really judge on those properties. However, I feel that it smooths my eye area and keeps well hydrated throughout the day. I've tried a number of other eye creams in the past that have been pretty crappy and expensive, so this cream, although seemingly basic, is very good in my opinion.

Gels/Soaps -Caress - Moisturizing Body Wash
rated 4 of 5
celymoon 5/15/2009 2:53:00 PM

I use the pink one "berry indulging" scent. Smells sweet and fruity - soooo good! You can smell this stuff through out my house when I'm showering! I like this because it leaves my skin soft and feeling clean plus it's cheap! It's my fav pharmacy/cheapy body wash.

Gels/Soaps -Olay - Bar Soap for Extra Dry Skin with Shea Butter
rated 5 of 5
celymoon 5/15/2009 2:49:00 PM

This has been my every day soap since I can remember. It does a great job at cleaning my body without drying it out. I love the scent too! Best part is that it's cheap and sold just about every where. What can I say - it's just soap that does the job right. ;)

Cleansers -MyChelle - Fruit Enzyme Cleanser
rated 2 of 5
celymoon 5/15/2009 2:44:00 PM

I really wanted to like this. I'm a big fan of this brand and their masks, but this stuff made me break out like I was in sixth grade again. It does a fabulous job at removing make up and leaving my skin soft plus a tiny bit goes a long way. However, every single time I use it, I end up with a serious pre-pubescent style breakout. I have combo skin and rarely break out, but this cleanser guarantees pepperoni face. I'm not sure exactly who this would be good for, but it def does not work for me. No repurchase here.

Treatments -Kerastase - Aqua-Oleum
rated 5 of 5
celymoon 5/15/2009 2:37:00 PM

This treatment is amazing! I've using this for the past 3 years and love it. I agree with the previous reviewer about leaving it in over 30 minutes otherwise you won't see the best results. When using this, I wash my hair with Olea Relax shampoo, towel dry, apply section by section, and then wrap my hair in a plastic cap for an hour. Then I lightly rinse it out and blow dry. My hair comes looking like a mirror shiny... like a damn Pantene commercial. It's great and worth the money.

Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Thoroughly Therapeutic Foot Creme, Honey and Bilberry
rated 5 of 5
celymoon 5/15/2009 2:05:00 PM

Wow! I love this sooo much! It leaves my feet incredibly smooth and silky. I got turned onto BB's foot cream after trying out the peppermint foot lotion, so I decided to give this one a try. I LOVE the scent! It smells like sweet honey and is very thick. I apply it every night (3 nights so far) before going bed. The cream absorbs quick, so I don't wear any socks or anything. My feet are immediately smooth as are my hands from applying it. It lasts all day and seems to only come off when I wash my feet with soap. I'm very happy with this cream and look forward to using and smelling it each night!
