Lipstick -NARS - Semi-Matte in Heat Wave

LOVE this color! After dying my hair, I found out that my pinkish red lipstick didn't work for me. I tried on Heat Wave at Sephora and fell in love. I love that it's actually a very buildable color - a light layer looks gorgeous, just as much as a heavy layer. When it does fade (and that takes awhile), it does so very nicely. It's a little dry, but applying lip balm beforehand helps a lot.

Cleansers -Ponds - Deep Cleanser Cold Cream

I had always heard about the wonders of Ponds Cold Cream, but had never really gotten around to trying it. After running out of makeup removing cloths, I dug out the jar that my grandma had given me and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! It really does deep clean, way better than any other product I've used. It leaves my oil-prone skin a little greasy afterwards, but I use a dab of the St. Ives Green Tea cleanser to get the residue off. I would recommend this to everyone!

Foundations -Almay - TLC Truly Lasting Color

Holy crap. I am never using another foundation again. I have pretty oily skin and live in a really humid climate, so most make-up melts off my face a few hours into the day. This stuff stays on my skin, doesn't look cakey at all, and lasts all day without making me look shiny at all - which is a HUGE deal for me! I've never had that happen with any makeup! I like the medium coverage, and the lightest color matches my skin without being too pinky or orangey or anything. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey for a drugstore brand, but it's definitely worth it.

Polishes -OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark

This is my absolute favorite nail color ever. I wear it year-round - I'm tacky and I like dark nails in the summer even. I've worn it constantly for three years now, and I recommend it to friends all the time. I've never found it to be too black, and I have very pale skin - it never looks too goth or vampy on me, and if I want it lighter I only apply one coat. Love it, love it, love it.

Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Facial Cleansing Towelettes

I bought these on a whim because they were on sale, my normal make-up removing cloths left my skin feeling greasy and unclean, and I couldn't find the Yes to Cucumbers ones. What a great buy! These smell lovely, get all my make-up off (even waterproof mascara), and leave my skin feeling clean and fresh. The price is great, and the fact that these are almost completely natural make me feel excellent about using them. Definitely my go-to product now.

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Length Mascara

I love this stuff. Yeah, it takes a little while to dry, but that's fine with me. My lashes are long, but super blonde, so this gives them that extra oomph that I need. The brush is fantastic, and it doesn't flake - even after sleeping in it on accident, my lashes still looked fabulous. And at 3 bucks a tube? So worth it.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational - Fuchsia Fever

LOVE LOVE LOVE this lipstick. Super bright without being obscene on my fair skin, and has a wonderful creamy texture. It's great for when your make-up needs a little extra punch and you don't have a lot of time. I got mine for $5 at the grocery store beauty section, and I'll buy it over and over again!

Gels/Soaps -Clean & Clear - Morning Burst Body Wash

I actually really, really like this stuff. I bought the Pomegranate and Orange Zest kind, and I dig the scent of it. I hate moisturizing body washes (I live in a really humid climate), and this totally does the trick of keeping me clean and not all moist and sticky. Good price too!

Living in a really humid climate, I've tried dozens of foundations in hopes of finding one that won't make me shinier or break me out. Lucky for me, I tried this one and it worked perfectly. Lasting enough coverage, doesn't feel too heavy, and doesn't break me out at all. Love it. However, hate the packaging.
