Treatments (Eye) -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum

The product that keeps on giving: lines and milia, that is! Avoid.
Superb. Creates a skin-enhancing feather-light veil, giving the illusion of 'great' skin on merely 'good' skin. So not for those who favour coverage. That said, fans of perceptible coverage could mix with this product with their preferred base to good effect.
Wow. Superb. Truly transformative: uber, clump-free volume in seconds. YSL False Effect begone!
Self Tanners -St.Tropez - Gradual Tan Everyday Mousse
ceen 2/15/2013 5:45:00 PM
Excellent 'everyday' tanning mousse: (i) achieves natural-looking, buildable results; (ii) subtlely scented; (iii) lightly moisturising; and, (iv) wears off evenly. In short, an ideal self-tanner for those with fair complexions wary of using self-tanning products for fear of unnatural-looking and/or 'orange' results.
Styling Products -Aveda - Pure Abundance Style Prep

This is named 'style prep'. So what does it prepare hair for exactly? In my case, transformed freshly washed hair into a bird's nest with just a few squirts. Must get something to protect against random product lure!
Treatments -Aveda - Brilliant Damage Control Spray
ceen 1/22/2013 7:12:00 PM
Excellent when used as a finishing spray to add body and movement. Distinctly unimpressive when used for its other intended purpose as a blow dry protector. The problem? High alcohol content + heat = well, you know the story!
Bottled opulence. Sophisticated and richly complex. Uniquely impressive. Available superlatives can't do it justice!
Disappointing. Like the All Soft Conditioner, this shampoo excessively softens fine-medium hair to the point of uncontrollability. As with any supposed softening hair product, the optimal result is a softening action which is compatible with preferred styling techniques. Last word: fine to medium hair should avoid.
Bronzers -Chanel - Soleil Tan Fluide (Sheer Illuminating Fluid) in Sunkissed
ceen 1/7/2013 7:14:00 PM
Wonderfully light and natural-looking bronze liquid highlighter. As its name suggests, lends a sunkissed appearance. So no harshness to be had. Thoroughly recommended.
Disappointing. Hair softened, yes, but excessively so, to the point of unmanageability and resistance to (usually successful) styling techniques.
(i) Pigment: a unique red-brown, which provides depth and interest in the creaseline. (ii) Formula lets it down, though, big time: can run to an unattractive ruddy matte in certain conditions, i.e. without requisite eye prep. of preferred primer. Bottom line: worth purchasing for pigment alone, but be prepared for high maintenance.
Stunning medium-to-bright orange. Should come into its own in summer, but still wearable now. Impressive formula: uber hydrating, comfortable, long-lasting. A winner.
Expect its sheen to emphasise imperfections. Pigment: marketed as a 'soft apricot' suitable for all complexions. Yet in a certain light, appears distinctly white. Summary: a white highlighter of imperfections.
Eye Shadow -Chanel - Soft Touch Eyeshadow - Safari
ceen 1/6/2013 12:59:00 PM
An understated grey-taupe, with unobstrusive shimmer. Great for no-fuss, 'swipe and go' minimalist daywear.
(i) Consistency: off-putting gooey, sticky formula, which makes for an uncomfortable wear. (ii) Pigment: in tube, a juicy, multidimensional peach; on lips: well, a rather nondescript sparkly shade. Bottom line: hard to get past the intolerable sensation this thick formula leaves on lips.
