Very rich, metallic gold! One thick coat or two thin coats makes a bright gold finish! Dries relatively fast, and looks great under black shatter or stamping! My pic is the one with black polka dots on top. Two coats Revlon - Gold Coin One coat Seche Vite Polka dots are WnW - Black Creme

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Megalast Nail Color - Bite the Bullet

I found this color at RiteAid for $0.59 on sale. The color is super thick. One coat and it's completely opaque! Usually, I cannot stand WnW's brushes, but the one in my bottle of Bite the Bullet was actually great. It was perfectly rounded (WnW's cheap brushes tend to be very uneven and too coarse) and held just the right about of polish for each nail. I would buy this color again, but always check the brushes before you choose any bottle of WnW! My pic is the one with tiny black flowers stamped on my nails. The black is WnW - Black Creme (my fave stamping polish)!

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Seche Base Coat

When using a base coat, I look for a few qualities: Does it have vitamins/minerals to keep my nails healthy? No, Seche Clear does not. Does it prevent dark or yellow polish from staining my nails? No, Seche Clear does not. Does it dry quickly? Yes, it dries very quickly. Does it prevent my polish from peeling? So far, not really. I always use Seche Clear and Seche Vite together. My manicures never last more than one or two days before chipping and peeling. In the product's defense, I do work at a bakery. My fingernails are constantly getting messy and washed in super hot water. So I can't blame the peeling entirely on the base coat. I do like that it dries very fast. But I still get stained fingernails when I use a dark colored polish. I don't think I would buy Seche Clear again. I prefer a base coat with more vitamins/minerals to keep my nails healthy, as well as something that prevents staining.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat
rated 5 of 5

I found Seche Vite and Seche Clear together on Amazon for under $12 total and free shipping. Seche Vite leaves my nails super shiny, and I love how thick it is. My favorite thing about it is how quickly it dries and sets my manicure. I brush it over wet polish, and literally within 5 minutes of applying it I can change clothes, make dinner, etc. without worrying about smudging my fresh polish. I honestly can't say it makes my manicures last any longer, though. But I work at a bakery, and my hands are getting messy all day. Even while using Seche Clear as a base coat and Vite as my top coat, my manicures usually chip within a day or two. But I haven't ever found a top coat that lasts longer than that. I'd definitely buy Seche Vite again!

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Miracle Nail Thickener

First, I need to say I've only been using this product for 3 days. I already dislike the fact that it takes forever to dry. Even using OPI Drying Drops doesn't make it dry quicker. I've been applying one coat daily, and today makes my 3rd coat. It's been over 5 minutes, and my nails are still tacky. I'll update in a week or so regarding the thickness of my nails. But for now, I can say I wont buy again just because of drying time. UPDATE: I will definitely NOT buy again because of the bubbling! After the 3rd coat, my fingers looked like I painted them with champagne. Not good...

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - 424 Black Creme

Best non-konad black polish for stamping! It's thick and incredibly opaque! I hate WnW's brushes (always either too skinny or too coarse), but I can look past that because this formula is so great. And you can't beat the price! My picture is the one with the cheetah stamping (Mash plate #23). Base color: WnW "Private Viewing" Cheetah stamp: WnW "Black Creme" Gold accent: Color Club "Gingerbread Man"

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Megalast in "Private Viewing" #204A

The color is nice. It requires 3 thin coats or 2 thick coats to become opaque. My major problem is the brush! The bristles are so coarse they drag lines through the polish. And the brush seems like it was supposed to be rounded, but looks like it was trimmed with a pair of kindergarten scissors. All of the bristles are uneven and jagged. I'll keep shopping for a more opaque nude shade with a nicer brush. My picture is the one with the cheetah stamping (Mash plate #23). Polishes -OPI - Black Shatter
rated 5 of 5

This is overall the BEST shatter/crackle nail polish I've tried! The amount of crackle is perfect. Other polishes just don't break up very well. I love the matte finish, but it also looks great with Seche Vite! I'm usually a bargain hunter, but this is worth every bit of $8.00 for me!

Polishes -Orly - Au Champagne
rated 4 of 5

Got this on sale for $3.99 at Sally's right after Christmas. It's a pearly white with a satin (NOT matte) finish. Two coats looked okay. Three coats would've probably made me love this more. I used Seche Vite to add some shine. I probably wouldn't buy it again because there are other more fabulous "pearly whites" out there... Hehehe :D

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Wild Shine Nail Color - Night Prowl

I only give it a 4 because the brush is too skinny and not very plush/soft. The color is great! Two coats gave me the look I wanted. Can't beat $0.59 on sale at RiteAid!
