I got a free sample and decided to try it today under my makeup as I am on the hunt for a moisturizer. The citrus smell is ehhh but it went away quickly. I had to wait a bit for it to be absorbed so I can use my MAC Studio Fix. Even after a few minutes it was still not completely absorbed and I was rushed so I had to do my makeup anyway which I did not like. It wasn't a bad moisturizer but it wasn't great either and for that price, I'll pass! I must say, if it has vitamin C or antioxidants, shouldn't it be packaged in a dark glass bottle??

Hair -Moroccanoil - Moroccan Oil

I have been using this product for 5 years. A bottle goes a long way so even though it's pricey, it will last more than a year. I don't consider this product to be a miracle worker but I like that it makes my hair smooth, frizz-free, and protects it from heat from styling tools. The dark bottle is essential for oils to be stored in.

Shampoo -Trader Joe's - Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo

This shampoo turned my teen daughter's blonde hair brassy, almost orange! And it made it frizzy. It did nothing to help with how oily her hair gets either. A true disappointment! I will be returning both the shampoo and conditioner.

If you are sensitive to smells BEWARE! Imagine yourself in the shower with a little steam (which tends to make scents linger longer) and this peppermint-y strong smell you cannot get rid of that is stinging your eyes. That's exactly what happened to me. The scent wasn't overpowering until I started lathering. Then it was overkill! The body wash is a little drying which I do not like. I felt the need for lotion as soon as I got out, which I normally don't feel when I use my regular wash. Not impressed. And DO NOT GET THE SHAMPOO! I didn't use it but got it for my teen daughter to try to help with her greasy hair and it turned her golden hair brassy and made it frizzy. She used it for a little over a week.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium

I was very excited to try this product based on all the reviews. I bought the light/medium and upon trying it on my hand it seemed to match pretty well. I tried to use it by itself and at first it seemed to be absorbing well but I ended up needing a powder. I did my make up as usual and decided to use this as a primer. It darkened a bit after half hour. It felt ok but it was nothing to rave about. I like my MAC studio fix on its own much better. I feel that this would be a better product for the summer to wear to the beach or the pool but it is not something I want to use every day or all day. It hasn't made me feel oily or dry but I don't like how it looks after wearing it for 6-7 hours. When I put my studio fix on, I leave it alone and it stays the same ALL day. No surprises every time I look in the mirror. Not sure I am on the BB bandwagon. Too Face is tacky and settles into creases. Lancome oxidizes and turns orange. Clinique's is a pricey tinted moisturizer- not enough coverage. I'm done trying! Until I try the Asian ones. But discouraged to buy online as there are a lot of knock-offs.

After reading about this yesterday I decided to pick one up when I went grocery shopping. I tried it on my hand and got really excited to try it this morning as I noticed they are almost exactly the colors I use from MAC. I was so pleased!!! I absolutely love the pigment as they are not overly shimmery but not flat. They last, they go on smoothly without getting shimmer all over your cheeks (NYX), there's no caking or drying- one of the best eye shadows I've tried! I was SO happy with it that I stopped at CVS- buy one get one half off today- and picked up one for my daughter, one for my purse, and two other colors that I will try later and review. LOVE ♥

Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Naturals Lip Balm

I never leave home without this! I have one on my night table, one at work, and one in my purse. It goes on smooth, stays on for a long time, leaves lips shiny without the stickiness, doesn't taste awful, and feels refreshing. They sell out all the time so when I need one, I buy a couple. This will be a staple for me much like my deodorant!

My 12 year old daughter likes these but they do NOTHING for me! It does not moisturize as it states AT ALL and it doesn't even stay on long. I don't get what the big deal is. I have not used the tinted ones but my daughter's friends have and in my opinion it bleeds out and makes them look like clowns. For those who are looking for a moisturizing chapstick, try Neutrogena's Naturals lip balm (over with the skincare products). It is wonderful!

I wrote another review on the Absolute Repair masque as I have used them both interchangeably and I love them! They brought my hair back to life after a few hair fiascos and I have been using them for over 8 years now, once a week. LOVE LOVE LOVE! As for the packaging, it allows you to use every last drop! I don't mind the tub and actually prefer it to the tubes or bottles. A little goes a long way, use it on towel-dried hair as it will be absorbed better, and you don't need to put it on the roots. Rinse it out really well otherwise it can weigh hair down, but so can any product that is used incorrectly. For anyone who bleaches their hair, this is THE HG of all conditioners!!

Treatments -L'Oreal - Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut repair

I was introduced to the L'Oreal Professionnel expert serie 8-9 years ago when my hair was ruined and I went to a new stylist. My hair was very damaged and dry and it was impossible to get a comb through it after I washed it with regular shampoo and conditioner. This worked miracles on my hair and I have been using it once a week ever since. The trick is to use very little on towel dried hair and distribute it all over the length of the hair first and work your way up. It doesn't need to go on the roots but if you do, do it lightly and make sure to rinse out thoroughly or it can weigh hair down. It's great for blonde or colored hair (I have been both). I will continue to use it and hope they never stop making it! This line of products is great! I have used a few of the other masques as well but always liked this one the best.

I have used this shampoo twice and do not like it. It causes my hair to be unmanageable and frizzy, taking me more time to do my blowout. I have better results with Pantene! I was hopeful as I really like some L'Oreal makeup and LOVE the Professionnel series (I use one of the masques and it is amazing, I highly recommend them!). I will be letting my son or husband use it up as it won't come near my hair or my daughter's.

I have been using this for a few months now and all I can say is FANTASTIC! I use it with my OPI colors and my nailpolish will last (and look shiny and fresh) for 2 weeks!!!! I thank the girl that turned me on to this product every time I see her. I have naturally long nails but I wanted to try the gels as people raved about them and how long the nailpolish lasted. I was very disappointed because they were just like acrylics minus the length of the acrylics. After a week and a half my nails grew enough that the gel was starting to lift and I was paranoid about water getting underneath and causing some type of fungus (many a friend has had this problem with fake nails in general). I had them removed asap and my nails were trashed so I ran to the beauty store to find something that would help. It was then I was introduced to this fabulous product. It is truly a miracle top coat as the nailpolish dries quick and evenly (no matter how streaky you get it) and it lasts!! Wish I would have known about this product a long long time ago!!!! For a long time I just kept my nails short and unpolished because I hated the process of painting my nails every four-five days because the nailpolish chipped. Now I only have to because of the growth. The nailpolish does not chip or peel. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!
